"My wife and I were visitors to London. I hadn 't eaten previously at Ping Pong but my wife had. We both went for the 'Parcels of Joy ' set meal containing Prawn Crackers, Crispy Duck Spring Roll, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Honey Glazed Spare Ribs, Spicy Vegetable Dumplings, Chicken Truffle Gyozas, Mushroom Dumplings, Har Gau, Seafood Sticky Rice and finished with a mini Chocolate Fondant and a mini Cheesecake. All of this for an amazing £35 each. Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were so friendly and efficient. Highly recommended."

Karthik was really helpful with our menu choices. Really good drinks. Fantastic food will be back best dim sum outside Hong Kong.

Handy for the Southbank Centre, great variety, prompt service, excellent. I wish the staff might smile more, Aneta K did, so others can should.

Great Ping Pong on the South Bank. Despite it being crazy busy the staff and food were both great. They would have got full marks but the toilets were broken and dirty. Not acceptable.

Really enjoyable experience. We went to celebrate my partner’s graduation, and all the staff, especially Sally, went out of her way to make the evening special for us. The dim sum was delicious, as was the fried chicken. I would definitely come here again!

We felt very rushed to order yet when we wanted our bill we couldn’t get anyone’s attention The children’s menu is not suitable for young children, we had a couple of 3 year olds in our party and the chicken dumpling in the set menu for children was far too spicy

Slow and cold service, several dishes arrived cold, waiter didn’t really seem that bothered about it all. The prawn crackers starter didn’t arrive until we were paying the bill (bill was also wrong as they failed to remove the dishes we complained about at the time) Very disappointing, first time returning after many years and it’s not what it used to be. We couldn’t wait to leave and won’t be back.

The food is always very good at Ping Pong and it was busy as ever. We had the most excellent waitress Su Huang. She was always there, very helpful, polite...nothing was too much work. I'm gluten free and she was careful to ensure I had only the right dishes by me, GF soya sauce. If someone deserves a Christmas bonus it is Su Huang. I hope she gets the tip service on my bill of 12.5, £20.45. She's earned it.

A colleague recommended Ping Pong we were disappointed. We booked ahead but were given the worst table in the restaurant at the end of a long narrow corridor, with a service station for staff behind us. We were cold and the lighting was poor so much so that we had trouble reading the small print order sheet we were required got complete instead of being provided with a menu. The food was OK but expensive. Service lacked charm and warmth. Overall, a negative experience.

4 of us went to eat with 2 needing to eat Gluten free. The standard menu was extensive and the gluten free had many choices but not as extensive. When we booked we alerted the restaurant about our dietary needs and they were prepared, the staff knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend the g/f ribs, they were very tasty and I had the gf dim sun which were nice but nothing is going to beat the ribs. One downside was although the restaurant only accepts bookings, we had to queue to get in this could be a sign of how popular they are.
