"Now I've been to the Wardour Street branch and thought it was fine, if a little unmemorable.I came to this Store Street branch at lunchtime and ordered the jungle curry with steamed jasmine rice. The curry was horrible. I had to send it back. Full of woody bits of lemongrass, it was fiery yet tasteless. It also had goose-pimpled pieces of chicken skin floating around in it and it was throroughly off-putting. I know that often cheaper cuts like thigh and leg which have skin on it are used as they have more flavour, but the ratio of the skin and the meat was disproportionate. When I told the waiter I couldn't eat it, he gave me a withering look and said Maybe I should have told you that the jungle curry comes with chicken skin and is quite spicy Err yes, perhaps they should have told me that it would be garnished with flabby skin. But they didn't. It annoyed me that he tried to patronise me like that. I have spent many weeks in different parts of Thailand, and I never came across chicken skin curry after all.Everyone else declared their mains as delicious."

Setting and casual seating arrangement is good but food is definitely not brilliant. Small portions for the price and not much better than any other cheaper chain

thai classic with great service and ambiente. the £10 lunch weekday offers and the 25% student discount offer good value, otherwise a little expensive for what it is.

I used to work here and we went a lot to lunch and I really enjoyed it, but I recently went back to an evening meal and it wasn't that good. it was really busy, which probably didn't help. I ordered a squash curry and it was really sharp and there were charges of liquid, but not much more content like a suppe really. I had all the impression that it was expensive for what they got, and my friends were not too sharp to get squeezed with other people on the benches. they will not go back what is a shame, because eating itself is very beautiful. I used to work near here and we'd go a lot for lunch and I really enjoyed it but I went back recently for an evening meal and it was not so good. It was really busy which probably did not help. I ordered a squash curry and it was really spicy and there was loads of liquid but not much content bit more like a soup really. I had the over all impression that it was expensive for what you got. And my friends were not too keen on being squashed onto the benches with other people. I don't they will be going back which is a shame because the food itself is very nice.

this Thai place has everything. it feels very astonishing and they burn smoke to give the place a great smell. they have to order the calamari. that's like a drug. they also make some really nice fruit drinks. a mango and a guava. both very beautiful and something they don't really get many other places. they do not change their menu much, but I guess there are not too many variations that they can apply for a Thai restaurant. that does not play a role, although there are enough different things on the menu to mix it each time. cheap for quality is good. lunch (of course with calamari) would probably come

Both very nice and something you don't really get many other places. They dont change their menu much, but i guess there's not too much variation you can apply to a Thai restaurant. That doesn't really matter though as there is enough different things on the menu to mix it up every time you go.Pricewise for the quality is good. Lunch (with Calamari of course) would probably come in around View menu

Busaba eathai is a very good quality chain of restaurants, and the in store street is my opinion to the best of which they offer simple eating in a Wagamama style set (everybody shares a table and they sit next to other people, sometimes with hardly enough space to fit their plate) although the decor is much more beautiful than wagamama and more atmosphere. the dishes offered vary from the alwayspresnt thai curries (the ente curry and the pumpkin are highly recommended) to the unique straightening of chicken in pandan leaf (a favorite for most as they can see it in almost any table) and thai calamari (one starter should not miss them and some good noodle and stir dishes. the hot and cold tee...
