"I am a regular customer at this restaurant and have always enjoyed their beers. However, on my last visit, I was disappointed by the poor quality of both the food and service, despite the fact that it wasn't very busy. I will still return as usual, but I will be avoiding certain items on the menu. This place has now become hit or miss for me, which is concerning as I have been a loyal customer for years. Despite this, I can always count on their beer to be consistently good."

"Booked for wife’s birthday. Parking was a bit tricky. Sliding door let in the cold! Waitress was really helpful and polite. Food and drinks were great. Nice decor. Live singer was a bit loud for the size of the restaurant. Had to shout over her to hear each other. Nice touch with Birthday candles/sparklers in our desert. Would go back overall good experience."

"I came away from this restaurant thinking that they do classic Meat and Fish dishes extremely well and with an extra twist. Their T-Bone steak was amazing and so was the catch of the day. Seems like real thought and invention was put into the side plates and they were a real joy; the chippy chips, Halloumi Fries and Peanut Butter Cornbread. I also had a few Cherry Sours which were amazing. We were sat next to the toilets and kind of felt away from the main restaurant and ambience so that's the only minor negative point for me. However the food more more than made up for it."

"4 of ate here. 2 had wings, 1 scallops and a prawn pil pil for starters. All really good. My prawn linguine main was excellent. The chicken bang bang and burger were enjoyed. I had a taste of the seafood lasagne which was superb. The Eton mess for dessert was ok. Would prefer all strawberries rather than mixed berries. We had 2 beers, 1 sparkling water and a tea. With an average tip, it was €200 for the 4 of us so it isn't cheap. Service was good."

"While prices have increased a bit since my last visit, the service and quality at this restaurant are still top-notch. The attentive and friendly staff does a great job of serving without intruding on your meal. Despite some noisy patrons at a nearby table, we were able to enjoy our drinks outdoors at one of the private tables due to the lovely evening weather."

"Lovely decor and a chilled but lively atmosphere. The menu is a Cuban, Havana inspired one that boasts 24hr marinated chicken as it's speciality but unfortunately falls flat on promises of flavour. The sauces and glazes, while nice, only sit on the meat leaving it a little bland once you get through the initial layer. In fact, bland was the recurrent adjective that came to mind for all the dishes I tried including the curry, the rice and the cassava. Nothing had great flavour bar the chicken wings in honey glaze starter. I went during happy hour but was unhappy with the prices at only 4 cocktails being available to choose from and each costing £9 and then the second costing £3. £12 for two drinks from a incredibly limited menu was just not my cup of tea. In fact a cuppa would have been much more welcome! The butterfly chicken main was thin and bland again and for £12 comes with some salad in the form of rocket leaves and a few other green bits but no chips, no rice, nothing. Any of that is extra with refried and sweet potato chips being around £4. Not the most expensive but certainly no bargain. All in all disappointing as it has all the potential to be lovely but sadly falls short on weak flavours and high prices for me."

"Heading to the near Craufurd Arms for a gig and looking for something to eat beforehand we happened across Zouk Lounge quite by accident and as we all enjoy Lebanese food decided to give it a try after first checking that there was plenty of veggie options (which there was) as 2 of our 3 strong party are vegetarian. Gabriella (from Romania) was our charming waitress who seated us and was very informative when it came to enquiring about the various veggie options on offer. She recommended the ‘Lobia’ dish to me (Lebanese spiced whole green beans cooked with fresh tomato sauce) which I then ordered whilst my brother and our friend also choose veggie options and we then decided to share these amongst us all and also decided to add a couple of side dishes. Very impressed with all the food served to us; all freshly cooked, nicely presented, tasted delicious and served to us in a timely fashion. No complaints. After dinner Gabriella enquired if we’d like to relax in their Shisha lounge located at the rear of the restaurant whilst she prepared a shisha pipe and some aperitifs for us. We accepted her offer and retired to the shisha lounge. Once Gabriella had served our aperitifs she enquired as to whether I would like to take control of the music in the lounge over their Bluetooth connection which I gladly excepted and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to stay a little longer for another round of cognac and G T’s before we headed off to the nearby gig; only just arriving before the show started in the end as we’d spent nearly a full 2 hours in Zouk Lounge. All in all, a really enjoyable dinner; fantastic food, a charming and friendly waitress (Gabriella) and a real surprise and extra treat to learn of the shisha bar at the rear of the restaurant after our meal. We will definitely be back for a return visit the next time we are in the area."

"visited with a group of 18 to the breakfast. the staff was very accommodating to put all of us together at a place, even bringing an additional table when the number of what was expected increased. I had a big frit that filled my plate. coffee and teapots were regularly refreshed without it having to be demanded. the breakfast lasted a few hours, which is normal for our group. the coffee was good as the frit. beautiful clean cozy furnishings. they give me how if they found it helpful."

"I have been coming to this restaurant for several years, and I am pleased to say that the quality and value of the food has not changed at all. The other day, I ordered two large plates with a total of three hot chickens, 13 hot wings, two portions of rice, two portions of peri chips, two portions of wedges, one bottle of 7 Up, and one Coke; all of this came at a very reasonable price. The food was ready about 20 minutes after I placed my order, and I was surprised by how busy it was late on a Thursday night. The food was hot (freshly cooked) and spicy (as I requested), and I have no complaints whatsoever. The salad was not your typical boring salad with lettuce and cucumber, but it had some feta cheese, olives, and salad dressing to make it more interesting. I highly recommend Peri Cheltenham to anyone in the mood for a good meal."

"our experience of booking our work socially at dog bowl was fantastic from beginning to end. preethi was a superstar to get us into the position to take food order and make sure everything went smoothly in the night. they were also flexible when one of our teams had to leave last minute. eating was delicious, drinks were flowing and we had a lot of fun on the arcade games. many thanks to the whole team:"

"Awful experience. Last year went twice as so good but not this year. No longer serve separate starters but didn’t tell us so half the food went cold as can’t eat everything at once. The manager just shrugged and said they stopped as orders were getting missed. The waiting staff looked stressed and clearly knew things were not right. I had to send my pizza back as dry with little topping second wasn’t much better and no seasoning. The burgers were good to be fair, but the chips were clearly reheated. Clearly they are focusing on the tourist market now and don’t care about repeat business."

"This has to be one of the best lunch spots in Glasgow. I'm not sure why it's not always packed, maybe because the owner doesn't do much marketing, but let me tell you - it's worth a visit! I've been coming here for months now, almost every week for lunch. The food may take a little while to arrive, but it's all made fresh to order and you can really taste the difference. The rice noodles are a personal favorite of mine, the best I've had in Glasgow by far, almost as good as those from China. They offer everything from chicken wings to loaded fries, burgers, noodles, and wraps. Even my picky coworker enjoys eating here. I definitely recommend this place. The owner and staff are very friendly and it has become one of my go-to spots for lunch."

"Service very slow, some staff very rude and arrogant, shawarma is awful oily/incredibly greasy, hard and completely inedible, simple BBQ stuff many times over cooked and hard as a rock, generally bland in taste. Also, don’t be surprised if they get your order wrong as they can’t communicate in English (asked for lamb, gave me chicken and don’t be surprised if they give you leftovers/rubbish, especially when they’re “closing” (why bother taking orders in the first place if you’ve got inedible waste leftover? Asked one of the workers why they’re selling Coca Cola products given the massacre of Palestinians, he said “it sells, people buy” which might be a picky point but for me makes all the difference and not representative of the community spirit. Never going there again, eat at any chippy, better value for money and frankly tastes better."

"YOU DO NOT COME TO LONDON for BBQ. Full stop. Period. The End. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FIND ANYTHING THAT COMES ANYWHERE REMOTELY CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL IN THE STATES Having said that, if you must have BBQ with all the fixins, Blues Kitchen in Camden is the place to be to get all messy with it. It is prolly the best you're going to find in town There are a number of places folks will recommend to you. I know, because I have eaten at them, and like it or not they put some sort of twist on it that takes it to places it should never have been BBQ is all about low and slow, not just tossing stuff on a grill whether it be propane or charcoal And I heartily recommend the Camden location...read more"
