Very near the station on a side street this typical London pub provides a good range of food with good service in a pleasant atmosphere. We accompanied our starters and mains with several drinks and the final bill was around £30 a head which is...reasonable for London.

The driver team were wonderful hosts, they took amazing care of everyone throughout the day and lunch for 50-odd people went perfectly, they were so organized and smooth. The room was a nice space to be in, colorful and comfortable and we...had a lot of fun, flipping the tables to hold a quiz after lunch.

Wanted to say a big thanks to the team at the Driver. We came in for our work Christmas party and were sitting on the 2nd floor. I have pretty severe photosensitive epilepsy and they went round the whole place making sure all the flashing...Christmas lights were static and not flickering, and were so gracious about it. We requested a quiet table for 4 and that’s exactly what we got and a spacious one too. Really great welcome by Adam and his team with a professional courteous and attentive service throughout. Good simple uncomplicated menu and wonderful food no issues no hassles....Really cozy place for a quick drink or to while away your evening with company and great food. We read pubs are closing down each week. I know why. We had a work summer party on the roof terrace (on the roof but solid walls and slatted roof). The usual private room in a pub: low tables and half hearted bar. Uninterested bar...tender who told me the drinks he didn’t have. Warmish drinks. He spent most of the evening pacing and scratching his beard. I ask for a shandy. This was inconvenient. He then started pouring a bottle of beer into a filthy glass. (although cleaner than his T shirt). I asked for a clean glass. He found another glass (they all looked grubby) and proceeded to polish it with the multi-purpose tea towel slung over his shoulder. As the dirty plates and glasses built up...

Where do I start initially, the evening started well, the staff were great. Staff: 8/10 Food: 5/10 Food was basic Ambience/Music: 1/10 The Driver advised us that we can play our music, so we created our playlist, bought our own devices, laptops, cables etc....Everything got plugged in, and we were ready to go. The music kept cutting out; we couldn't even hear the music being played, the speakers were not functioning. One of our guests eventually fixed the speakers; the music still was cutting out.
