"Visited here whilst in Putney on a Friday lunchtime. Very busy at the tills but staff are efficient. Lots more seating in this branch than it first appears. Other than the initial seating you can see there is a big space at the back of the shop behind the tills as well as on another floor. Despite being busy the tables were being kept clean which is great. Various new flavour wraps and sandwiches on offer in November in preparation for Xmas. I had a new falafel and avocado wrap with chipotle sauce which was good. Really like their seltzers. They are quite bitter so maybe not everyone’s choice but I think they are great as no sugar and great taste. The spelt and oat cookies were lovely."

"What a lovely experience. The food was excellent. The service was efficient and timely but not rushed. We had a table for 6 and had a 6 year old with us. We arrived early but our table was ready and we were made to feel very welcome. The restaurant was clearly child friendly and we were very well catered for in this respect. There was plenty of space for us at our table and we were very comfortable. This was an excellent restaurant for a family gathering right in the heart of Covent Garden and so convenient to theatreland."

"Went into the Broadmead Bristol Pret yesterday with a friend. We picked up our sandwiches, crisps and a drink each and placed them on the counter. We were totally ignored while 3 staff members stood behind the counter, one was working the coffee machine, the other two I'm not sure what they were doing. They did not say a word, then a lady walks in to the place, walks right up beside us and she is asked what she would like! Unforgivable in a customer service environment. The server who totally ignored us was taller, dark hair tied back and spoke with a foreign accent. We left our food on the counter top and walked out. Went to Cafe Amore across the street now they have the best customer service and cheaper food so we will go to there from now on."

"The ambience and room were lovely, the staff were also very good and attentive throughout. Service was not the issue. The food however was all a bit lacklustre. My friend had the fish pie that was a lot of potato and cheese but not much fish...it was in a word 'stodgy '. I had one of the special dishes which was the Frito Misto...for the price it was not good value or quality: small portions of actual fish and it was all over cooked to the point of being dry, there were about 12 whitebait, a few calamari, one prawn, and 1 piece of mullet about 4cm in length. The heritage tomato and red onion salad it was served with was good. The desserts were fine, nothing outstanding. I also had a single espresso, which tasted dirty...very poor quality. Overall disappointing and at £120 not good value considering we had 1 beer and just a bottle of water."

"The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is clean and pleasant. It's quiet enough to sit with your computer and they offer healthy options for breakfast, lunch, and more. They have a variety of items like salads, sandwiches, and fruits in the refrigerator, as well as soups. If you enjoy eating healthy, give it a try. "early on Saturday morning. the outdoor menu disappeared and aimed at the choice Avocado/Egg. then wandered in and looked perfectly fresh on spatialities made croissants, and knew that I have a croissant with a side of speck. superb with a kapuziner. I ate very comfortable outside. there is a lot of space inside and since this is very popular, they need the space. a few very happy small groups of diners collected in and seemed to have a great time. if I had lived in the opposite, I would certainly be a strain."

"from both of us I found eating at elenas to be totally acceptable, but the price-performance ratio is a bit ho-hum. the photos of the stars that decorate the walls gives him a certain charm, but the bright lighting makes nothing for the shaded color job that lurking behind the mugs, and I felt, giving the place a caffe feeling. Some candles and somewhat lower lighting could go the inner further. "Unfortunately our group did not have the best experience at The Driver and it is unlikely we will return to have food here. We had to wait over an hour to even get our starters and we only had one fleeting your food is coming . This factor probably tainted our whole experience however I did find the food over priced for what it was. For example, the Burrata as a starter was charged at £13 it came with one slice of prosciutto yet two in our party asked for the veg option and there portion was smaller and came without the prosciutto but still priced the same. The standard of food varied yet the best food was the Fish Chips other meals were disappointing. The acoustics are terrible on the ground floor the place needs some sound dampeners as we struggle to even hear each other at all. The rest of the establishment was inaccessible because private hire but it does seem like a great place if you wanted to have a party there I wouldn 't recommend it for small parties of 6 or less."

"Something seems to have gone wrong. We have greatly enjoyed staying here before and dropping in for occasional lunches. We liked the good food and wine, and the exceptionally good service. The premises looked immaculate and smelt fresh. Back today, looking forward to a pleasant impromptu late lunch at about 1:30pm. People were eating but there were plenty of spare tables. We waited to be seated in the restaurant … and waited… and waited. After a while my wife reported to the hotel receptionists that there were similarities to the Marie Celeste. They said that someone would come. A few minutes later a barmaid arrived at the bar. We explained that we had been hoping for a lunch table but that there were no restaurant staff. She went to find them. But several minutes later she still had not returned. So we left. By that stage we had realised that things had changed at the Hotel du Vin. It no longer looks immaculate. We let the receptionists know that we had intended to have lunch, but had decided to leave. They didn’t seem bothered. This place used to have excellent management. It needs to get it back again."

"Been here tonight with 6 adults and 5 children for a Family celebration. I dropped the cake and banners off the night before and they sorted everything out ready for us to arrive. We use amigos alot when we have family occasions as there is a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Especially the Manager who is always brilliant with the children and he is always very chatty and assertive. Cannot recommend the place enough. The food is always amazing and we always feel comfortable and at ease with their patients when eating with small children. Looking forward to our next visit!"

"My partner and I visited this restaurant last night and had a mixed experience. The customer service was great, as we were greeted by a friendly server. However, we were a bit disappointed with the portion size of the sharers with meat we ordered. It felt overpriced for what we received. Additionally, the mushroom and truffle arancini lacked a noticeable truffle taste and the salmon and shrimp toast was small with only two shrimp. We found the tapas prices to be a bit high for the amount provided. The service was pleasant until we were asked to vacate our table earlier than expected. Overall, while the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and we saw other diners enjoying their pizzas and steaks, we felt that the tapas selection may need improvement. We like to support local restaurants, so we wouldn't write this one off completely, but it may be worth rethinking the tapas offerings."

"Called in on Sunday morning for a drink and a snack. The location is great and the interior is pleasant but beyond that it was very disappointing. The tea was Yorkshire so was ok, but the (very expensive) hot chocolate was the instant just add water type with cheap squirty cream on top. It was so bad my husband didn 't drink it. The sausages in my sandwich were cheap and nasty, and again, didn 't finish it. The staff were pleasant enough. How this place gets excellent ratings on TripAdvisor I don 't know. I wouldn 't return."

"Had a nice evening albeit food overall was disappointing. The interior also doesn’t match up now to the outside space, more can be made of things potentially lovely pub. You often find food quality is compromised with festive menus and it becomes more like mass catering so lacked a bit of the quality and finesse of when I have visited previously. Brie bites looked like they were out of a party food box and most of the cheese was already oozing out and therefore stuck to the plate. Mains were pretty good but desserts disappointing, watery custard and a slice of Yule log thinner than a slice of bread. However overall good value and friendly service."
