"Great little Indian restaurant, if a little out of the way! The meals are good, very authentic. The set dinners are very good value as well under for more than enough for people. Chicken dishes are the most impressive – big, tender chunks of chicken breast … delicious! The sauces are mouth watering, and very more-ish not ‘heavy’ like you’ll find in some other Indian restaurants. The only downside to this little place is delivery time we often wait more than an hour for our meal to be delivered, although this could be a glowing testament to how popular Mirage is"

"I live nearby and ordered takeaway last Saturday I arrived right on time and there were a few people waiting inside and outside… I waited at least ten minutes before being taken care of and I already understood there was an issue with the restaurant...Organization… They accept customers while they barely have enough space and then people wait wait and wait… For me, they claim a broadband issue, but she also got confused about which order was mine and was pushing the wrong one… Some customers in the queue were even calling them from the queue to be taken care of… never seen that one before… Finally, I got my order with 45 minutes delay on Saturday evening (as if I did not have anything else to do!! and not even an offer for any compensation… a poor sorry was the only goodbye I got… guys you will never see me again especially as the food was super average…. Ceviche was horrible… sashimi was pretty good… wagyu was so disappointing and gyozas were obviously cold… and this was of course super expensive !!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME !!!!"

"I got a collection take away. I have lived in this town for over 30 years and I have never tried mayflower. When I collected the food the staff were very welcoming with the food being ready on time. When I plated it up at home first thing I noticed was how nice the rice looked, can’t describe it but looked clean and just nice, same with the chips they were fresh and not stale. The rest of the food was the same. Looking forward to sitting in next time. Think this will be my go to Chinese takeaway."

"Called restaurant to book table on the night and was amazed to see it full on arrival no empty tables at all. Hand sanitizer on table by door hardly used by patrons. Staff face masks NO Staff disposable gloves YES Reduced...table capacity NO Asked for contact number e-mail address NO Plastic screens NO If this is how eating out in August from Mon-Wed is going to be then I would rather pay full price and eat out at the weekend....at least there would be less chance of catching Covid-19!!! It has been a while since we have eaten here but feel the standard is definitely lower. No salad with samosas and onion bhaji dishes and poppadoms stale. Ordinary prawns in King Prawn dish and less chicken in the other dish....mainly sauce!!! Will be interesting to see what the owners response will be and whether improvements will be made going forward. I have eaten out quite a few times at different places and this was the worst establishment for social distancing."

"we just got freky huh when visiting Scottland (on the melville) when we had a late lunch so we said that we would order something if we got hungry, we have our order on over eat and it came on time that was very tasty and the delivery driver was very friendly, would definitely recommend if they were on the google reviews to see a few of them some of them are ridiculous, his terrible."

Foxlow Soho was perfect for any date I had. I have no idea where I will go for a post work catch up now... I work in The City.. so great to mooch to the West End during the week! Argh.. "We’ve been to Deadwood a few times so thought it was about time I added a review! I usually go for the low slow brisket as it’s always tasty (along with mac n cheese BBQ pit beans sides both amazing). I went...for chicken n ribs this time unfortunately they ran out of St Louis ribs so I had the beef instead at an extra cost. The beef was unbelievable and next time I’ll be having a full rack of it! Chicken was also tasty. The only downside to Deadwood for me is the fact they each time I’ve been, they’ve always ran out of something on the menu. Genuinely every single time! It’s a shame as the menu is amazing and you don’t want your options limited. Price wise it’s very good for the portion size. Staff always good as well. Would definitely recommend."

"Googled closest Indian restaurant to Manchester Airport as were were picking relatives up. The Cinnamon Tree came out nearest. Booked a table online. Was very pleased with the food which was lovely. Good sized portions. Thought it was quite expensive though compared to our local Indian restaurant which is in a nicer setting and has nicer decor. The Cinnamon Tree would benefit from an update particularly the upstairs toiled facilities. Nice friendly Staff however and would go again if the occasion arose."

"This is not the first time I have been to this restaurant and it certainly will not be the last. Amazing food, fantastic staff and a great atmosphere. From my parents in their 80’s to my 8 year old daughter, we were looked after, talked too and genuinely treated like one of the family. Kirsty and Jane are lovely ladies who work really hard here and are a real pleasure to see on our 6 weekly visits. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this wonderful eatery. "Just been for dinner here and it was superb! Seafood risotto for me and fish cakes for my partner both amazing! Ive actually never had such a great risotto I then had the crumble and custard which was massive and again anazing, my partner opted for the mini brownie and coffee but the brownie was a pretty decent size not really mini well worth the money, great food, great service and our new favourite eating spot"

"Receptionist Couldn’t fine our Open Table booking, but they had plenty of tables available so not a problem, but might have been had they been busy. We chose the Sunday roast beef. Cabbage was a little on the cool side. Beef was quite fatty and fairly tough, considering that it was 28 day aged. Roast potatoes were very good, as were the parsnips and carrots Soft drinks expensive small lemonade and lime £2.45) Overall value fair."

"They came a long way from few years ago when a wee waitress with big attitude argued with me that fish is a vegetarian option. Now they have a separate vegan menu and the dishes I've tried were pretty good (chickpea burger, side of aubergines, free cider when you subscribe to their newsletter, also vegan), the place itself is very scenic outside and cosy and atmospheric inside. I was told that there is a vegan staff member working in the kitchen which I always find reassuring."
