"Had the burger deal, burger well done? Like many places erring on the side of caution, so food not up to the usual best and expensive for a burger and a beer. But this was our last time here, its closing at the end of June and we will be sad to see it go. Thanks to all the staff that have given us some great food, drink and memories."

I went for a business lunch with a colleague. I couldn’t give 5 stars to everything as that shouldn’t be possible but I’d like to. The whole experience was fantastic. Food is stellar.

Five of us had a nice lunch today fresh salad cooked with meeting perfectly medium to rare; friendly and helpful waitress who was always at the glance to help with requests. A bit loud, as everyone in the room wanted to make a point I suspect, a whole great experience. Thank you.

Great restaurant and staff! I’m vegetarian and my boyfriend eats meat so perfect choice for our different dietary requirements. The restaurant also had a partnership with an organisation that funds breakfast for kids with struggling parents. A mere 30p is added to the bill. Fantastic idea!

Went to Foxlow before it closed. The experience was somewhat different than a few years ago, but the quality of the food was not liked. The devilled mushrooms made a great starter, the chicken waffle burger was needed to be eaten after going to another table, and the Sunday roast was right.
