"on this place a star. if I could, it wouldn't be a star. Yesterday afternoon sat for cocktails and then paid our bill. I got the confirmation and put it in my pocket. we are up and down when we were outside a coworker, followed us and accused us not to pay our bill. I told her we paid and we got our reception. I got the entrance from my bag and she was not satisfied yet. it was another member of the staff who came after and said they had paid bills there. I've never been ashamed to be accused, especially in the middle of an enlivened road. I always pay my bills. if this is how they treat customers there, I will not be definitiw. the staff was very rude. think they need more training on the skills of men"

"Absolute disappointment and made to feel like we needed to leave as staff wanted to close up. We visited 10.02.23. Table was booked for 8pm. There was 4 off us some had starters then we had our main that we was enjoying at 8.30pm the kitchen started cleaning up and turning lights off, we finished our meal and asked at 8.45pm when the waiter was clearing our table for the menu for desserts and milkshakes. For him to tell us the kitchen and bar was closed so we was unable to complete our meal. We was swiftly given our bill we paid and left. Never felt so uncomfortable in an eatery before and to be told we couldn’t complete our meal was a disappointment. Website states open till 11pm website states 10pm. So why was basically kicked out at 8.45pm? I wouldn’t advise going if you want three courses and they close before you get to finish your meal."

"booked for an overnight in bath. with the beautiful weather the view of the river was breathtaking. we were booked by holly, very friendly helpful (reach us great directions for a river to foot in a bath.) we arrived at the afternoon and have let ourselves in to dinner in the pub in the ground floor in our beautiful room. the vegan burger was very nice with the skin on chips. we also had the double bacon cheeseburger, very tasty. for dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding for the vegan option that we went with was deeply filled apple cake with vanilla ice cream. we have also mistakenly ordered the vegan salted caramel ice cream on the side that was beautiful (butterscotch angele joy taste,) this was ordered in mistakes compliments that was fantastic. in the morning we had the cooked breakfast. the full English was really nice, the vegan option was exceptional, easy 8/10. the staff was very friendly. the hotel bar is just a map."

"We stayed in the hotel on the 6 and 7th of October. Room was a little small but very clean had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. However the mattress had a slant to one side and everytime my partner moved you could hear the springs he felt like he was going to fall out of bed at one point due to the slant in the mattress. The shower head didn’t fit properly into the holder so you had to hold the shower hose. When I checked out I mentioned about the mattress and the member of staff said all the mattresses are a bit like that I will tell my manger. The one thing you want is a good nights sleep it was disappointing. If we are visiting Hemsley we would stay elsewhere. Rooms: 2 Service: 3 Location: 4"
