"At the end of a week stay in Friedrichshaven my husband and I remembered walking past this restaurant and decided we should give it a try. We were so glad we made the choice and only regretted not having another night to return. The...Weinstube is about blocks beyond the Yacht Club on a side residential street, just a short walk from the promenade along the lake. The restaurant is made up of several wood-panelled dining rooms furnished in a traditional manner, very welcoming and cozy. We were met by a friendly young lady who spoke enough English to be able to guide us through the creative, yet traditional menu. On our table was a small notice offering "zweibel kuchen" which we had seen on many sidewalk cafe signs. Our hostess explained the tradition of this "cake" made as part of the celebration of autumn and to be enjoyed with a sweet wine. We requested a portion as an appetizer (not the normal course and found it to be somewhat like a quiche. Our hostess brought complimentary tastings of the sweet wine so we could have the complete experience. From the extensive menu we ordered pork schnitzel and a chicken with apple entree along with a mixed salad to share. The chef is a woman (actually, it appeared that the entire staff of the restaurant were ladies) and we found both entrees to be superb. Portions were quite large. Menu prices were reasonable but wide ranging depending on the item. It seemed that most customers arriving that Friday evening were locals. Reservations might be advisable for weekend evenings since many tables were reserved at our visit. This is a gem of a restaurant"

"Directly when sending the order I called there to change something to the order, the woman told me rudely that she should be prepared and nothing can be changed if I had not even pressed 30 seconds before the order. In the past there was always a man who was very friendly and made everything you wanted. The order could no longer be canceled, but then I managed to get a customer service via Deliveryando after they called the restaurant themselves. If you don't order it in the future, it was my favorite restaurant for orders."

" A lovely hotel, we had a large triple room on the top floor which we found very comfortable (although we did keep banging our heads on sloped ceiling, but that's our fault our 2 year old found this very hilarious). From the room you could see onto a farm field and we spotted horses and deer! Also a DELICIOUS and great value dinner in the restaurant attached to the hotel highly recommend it there. Minus one star because we found the breakfast quite disappointing bread didn't seem very fresh, croissants were undercooked, juice quite sirupy, only fruit was a fruit salad of all apple, only one kind of bland cheese. It wasn't terrible, but definitely the worst of our trip around the lake so far (5 3 star hotels so far). If it was a bit better would definitely be 5 stars maybe just an off day as hadn't seen anything like this in other reviews."

"a large modern hotel that leaves no wish open! the rooms differ in the location, some are located on the roads,- others to the quiet side. the b31 leads to the hotel and is heavily frequented, they must count on the trip! there are many possibilities to participate in the environment. we had a large modern room with balcony, safe and fridge. the mattresses were comfortable. the room also has two chairs, two small and a large table. all employees were striving to ask and edit! the organization was good. we had half board and were very happy with it! there was everything they could wish and the quality of the food was high. the gym was in order, they can book wellness apps. I had a massage and was very happy with it"

"The zuppa di pomodoro was excellent, so was the minestrone with fresh vegetables, and the thin-crust pizza was delicious! Italian is spoken loud and clear in the kitchen always reassuring, when it comes to Italian pizzerias... The portions were very healthy: we ended up...sharing both our soup and our pizza. Their prices are very fair they also offer a lunch special for euros). The service was particularly friendly; they made us feel at home, Italian style. In addition, they will let you sit there for hours whether you just want to read a book , work on your laptop or write post cards over a cup of espresso coffee ... and there is seating outside, which is a real treat when the sun is out. Another bonus is that they will offer you a two-hour parking voucher which they validate before you leave the premises, as long as you park your car at one of the two parking lots located in front of the restaurant and ...have a cup of coffee"
