"Buon Giorno serves great pasta dishes. Ia sked for spaghetti carbonara and had a choice: either the most normal' one with creme or what they called classic' withour creme. I, of course chose the classic one and it was delicious with original Italian speck....We also had amatriciana which also was great. As mains we had hen with champignon and creme and lamb meat. Alle very good, and very attentative service. Prices are reasonable."

"Really nice breakfast! Saturday morning we found out you need a reservation, even for breakfast so we grabbed a coffee and pastry and ate upstairs. Then had a look around the shop which is excellent! Next day, we turned up early and bagged a couple...of seats at the bar where we ate a great breakfast and chatted with the most entertaining host. I wish I'd asked his name but he was fun."

"we were with three people on a Wednesday evening in the restaurant. without order we have found space without further notice. we were greeted and served - our little dog too - extremely friendly. each of us had chosen something different and everyone was completely thrilled by his choice (and also by the precious samples we have tasted of the other feeds). my man was the idea of never having eaten so well at the Chinese. it was also liked to satisfy my desire to dispense with glutamat and paprika in the court I chose. we have taken a longer journey to buy for the restaurant visit (because of the evaluation here), which is not so unusual in hh. it was worth it and if we are back in hamburg, we will definitely and very much like to eat there again."

"after 4 years back in hamburg. we didn't let us take it from 3 nights to spend two at manu and siggi. as always excellent kitchen. dorade and various tapas were announced. not to forget the excellent red house wine. as always, they are attentive, friendly, fast. what to say is a family atmosphere.S conveniently located. this restaurant is highly recommended.We are very happy to come back."

"Visited this place with Errol’s group of 53 people from Canada and India. It was a reservation for dinner. This cozy restaurant is at the corner of the street and had the most lovely staff who were extremely welcoming and friendly. We took up the entire place but the service was executed very well and they attended to everyone and did a super job! The food was served almost immediately after the mezze and the portions were enormous and delicious! The staff is very professional and #gennext Thank you Errol for choosing this restaurant."

"Don't let the dated exterior fool you, this is a great little restaurant! We decided to try it on our last night and were very surprised by the quality of the service and the food. We thought it might be a cheap and cheerful place...but considering we got the last spare table and how busy the place was it obviously has a lot more going for it. As someone has pointed out, there aren't any English menus however the head waiter was happy to explain the menu and even offee to make some unique pasta or tapas dishes based on our vegetarian request. All other waiters spoke a bit if English amd were very friendly. The food was probably the best we had during our stay in Hamburg although it was on the pricier side of it too, at €16.50 for the pasta dish. But considering how great everthing else was, we were more than happy to pay it. If you're looking for quality, you've found it."

"Gratulation! ...wir waren wirklich begeistert. Vielen Dank an das Croque Factory Team ! Von der sehr einfachen Handhabung der Bestellung über die eigene Homepage und den dort günstigeren Preisen (im Vergleich zu Lieferando, 5,80€ weniger bei zwei Croques!! bis zur rasanten Lieferung von einem sehr freundlichen Herren. Die Croques waren heiß, vielleicht auch wegen der etwas dickeren Alufolie und zum Auseinanderhalten der Croques wurden sie mit passenden und bebilderten Aufklebern versehen. Unsere Bestellung wurde mit allen Wünschen 100% richtig geliefert! Der Eisbergsalat war frisch und nach dem Erwärmen des Croques hinzugefügt, das Dreikornbrot war knackig und schmackhaft. Insgesamt haben uns die beiden Croques sehr geschmeckt. Fazit: Mega! Beim nächsten Appetit auf leckere Croques und sehr guten Service, werden wir hier gern wieder bestellen..."

"Celebrated my birthday there with family and friends, including folks from my hometown San Juan, PR. The owner offered to put together a menu of appetizers and dinner plates instead of individual orders. Everyone loved every plate, without exception...from the scampi, to Greek salad, to...the lamb dishes, everything put on the table was delicious.....and the moment a plate was empty, it was refilled with a new one. Serving a large crowd is always a challenge, so is bringing out a variety of dishes that are excellent without exception. Outside tables are on a plaza that turns into a farmer's market several days a week, the whole area has a nice ambiance, the area is one of the more culturally diverse in the city. It is a short pedestrian street walk away from the Altona train and subway station. (When I visit Hamburg I usually stay in the Altona Intercity Hotel, the best hotel choice in the area). If you like Greek food and want to see an interesting part of town off the tourist track, their is no better choice than Krypos; they will amaze you with their food and service."

"I frequent the place at least once a month and I wasn't disappointed until now. As starters they mainly serve tapas, but always ask for the daily special, as it changes. Last week I had a grilled carrot on carrot mouse. The mouse was excellent...with strong, but not overwhelming flavor. Then you can chose usually between 2 main courses. I had the fish. Perfectly pan fried, with enough juice, but not too dry. On top were black truffles. Although the truffles were not too strong in their flavor, it was a perfect mix with the fish. The restaurant usually has a couple of wines, which are also changing from time to time. We tried the Portuguese White one, which was not fruity, more to the flower, fresh hey style with many woody notes. Not perfect for a lone summer evening, but very good to the fish. The place is excellent for parties of maybe 20 to 30 people and it feels cosy. I prefer to sit in the main room and not along the wall at the side. Table reservations are really necessary, but I found that if you come early, that they might be able to squeeze you in. The service is very observing, fast and very helpful when you cannot decide what to eat, and it is not the most expensive choice, but one that fits with the other dishes you order. I am looking forward to go there again."

"we came and the waitress was not happy because she said they will close soon; so the reservation time on the fork app is up to 10 o'clock, but they close at 10 o'clock. we had it in a hurry. service very bad. we shocked when the waitress told us they hate customers arriving after 8 o'clock because most of the time are groups and stay there for a long time. was a young man who brings the food very friendly and humble. her colleague may have to learn about the service with him."

"We were fortunate to walk in to this restaurant on its 5th night of being open. The staff were very attentive without being overbearing, and the chef came out to explain what we were eating. As I can only speak English, our versatile waiter had...to translate the chefs explanations for me, which he did exceptionally. The food left me speechless in my gastronomic heaven. Having dined in many Japanese restaurants in Australia and Japan, the food here had all the key ingredients of fine Japanese dining together with the local flavours of northern Germany. What an amazing combination! From the amazingly tender octopus, the scallops cooked in hay ash, to the lip tingling stinging nettle dessert, I was transported to a whole new world of dining. My German fellow diner had not previously tried any Japanese food and bravely tried all the dishes we ordered (including sashimi of north sea fish!! and was pleasantly surprised by the different flavours. The chef even developed an individual dessert for her as she was allergic to the apple in my dessert. The menu is limited to mostly seafood, but the small selection of dishes offers something for everyone. This is a restaurant that will not disappoint if you are prepared to pay for quality foods and unique flavours. The next time I am in Hamburg I will definitely return here to dine."

"we are here regularly and it is always delicious. nothing unusual hold ne standard card. which is really well implemented! the salate is the hammer! have never gotten better! in the summer you can sit outside. all super!!!Two petty things I would have criticized: sometimes we get something to take, the portions fluctuate quite beautifully. Last time we had ordered a few people. there was the small portion as large as the others. from time to time, there is the meat in an extra dish from time to time with pommes in one. (the portions are again quite small)And earlier the tzaziki tasted better. that didn't taste so stupid after garlic and wasn't so burning. but is a good taste....Inserts as I said only to recommend!!!The best smell in the opposite!"

"Just didn't care for you at all. You get a rating of 2 only because the service was very good and the atmosphere was cool. Now for both of our disappointments in the food. I had the baked potato with sour cream and chives with...a small salad on the plate. I just admit that this was the strangest tasting baked potato I have ever had in my life. There must have been a pint of sour cream on the potatoes. I kept digging looking for the potato. And then there was another side of sour cream.... The salad had a creamy dressing that neither of us cared for. The dressing was sweet just like the sour cream. Then there was the pea soup. Different and not very pea tasting. Had more of a cream taste and not much other seasoning. Probably just too healthy for the two os us. Don't plan on attending, but if you are the extremely health food type this might be the place for you. Remember it takes all types of people and types of taste buds."

"near the railway station altona we fled on a small place for the rain in this restaurant. the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, a view of the menu left us there. no regret, the service was friendly and fast. the wine tasted good and. the food was excellent. the prices were very reasonable. after an amaretto from the house we had a nice evening, one of the best meals we had in hamburg. search for this restaurant when they are in altona. they will not be disappointed."

"Spiesserei is a nice little eatery in the university district. The basically do skewers of all sorts and combine with tapas and salads. Very delicious and varied as you can mix and match or order one of their set meals. The restaurant bistro? is very...stylish and nice to just hang out at. The staff is friendly and looked after us well. They do wine and beer too and some spirits!. I really enjoyed it and will go back next time I'm in town!"

"we were a few times at a visit to the sankt pauli football matches. it is located near the millerntor stage, our favorite pubs and shops, and even our accomodation. the service is fast and ready for long waiting snakes of hunger and thirst...customers who are located in the regular full of people, be it inside, at the bar or outside. it does not play any role when they go for a quick breakfast or come for a late dinner, the opening hours are extremely long, from morning to late evening, so it is almost non-stop protection for visitors. we tasted some veggie burgers with french fries and we had the classic astra beer in the evening, on the morning we tried coffee and a few sweet bakes, and we had a lot of limonaden. they can always sit back, relax and have a good time with friends while watching football matches on TV. next time we drive to hamburg and sankt pauli, we will surely come back after a little break!"

"Stumbled upon this place a couple months ago and since then it has become out go to! I've tried a number of different items on the menu and everything has been very tasty! The sampler plate has a nice assortment to start! The duckI is a big portion and delicious! Their salad rolls are average, and I would recommend trying other things on their menu. The only negatives is that the staff could be a little more friendly, but the quality of food makes up for it"
