"After we looked around in the little load, we decided to brunch here and we were not disappointed! when we realized that we were English, we were received by a very welcoming waiter and a waitress who took up our orders immediately after the statement of the menu. (English menu available) the food is very European and offers the usual guides with additional linings, cheese, meat, sausage. However, there are healthier options such as musli, obstsalat, natural yogurt etc. everything was exceptionally well presented... mine? actually came to a cake counter, as if we were expecting a afternoon to house. the girlfriend loved it and I would recommend this hotel for an breakfast for couples. the breakfast is not the cheapest, but for a one-time visit you will not be too disturbed by the price :)"

really cozy and beautiful place for an breakfast, lunch or just coffee. I have eaten there for lunch and the food was served quickly and delicious. the first cappuccino was burned and too hot, but another one was served quickly. I can only recommend the place. View menu

light lunch that we have today with a delicious cake (or whatever it is written) from spinat and cheese. it is a very nice place to take breakfast or a light lunch or dinner. It is also complemented by a gourmet shop with a large selection of products from 10 to 15 euro per person without alcohol.

we had 20 minutes before our train to lübeck time, so we came here to a coffee and a snack for the train. as it is less than 5 minutes from the train station. the breakfast looked fantastic, but unfortunately we didn't have enough time to try one! the coffee was good, just like the snacks we bought for our train ride in the fine food store.

we came to the breakfast and it was almost full, we got the last free table. ordered french toast, pancakes and bread with jam and cheese. and coffee. it took more than 20 minutes until we got the food, but that wait was worth it. delicious and good price. the facility was really nice and the place was combined with a load in which you can buy sweet hamburger products. strong recommendation View menu

were on a rainy Saturday in the mother country. The facility is loving with a hauch of originality, the products offered for sale are correspondingly presented. And in order to underline the worthiness, everything has a corresponding price. The breakfast and the coffee tastes, the service gives itself a lot of effort, but for two persons 35 eur to call up is already a proud price and not justified. for the offered performance, you can eat more cheap, rich and/or better breakfast in hh.

we had the breakfast for 2 for 30 euro and were both disappointed: the rolls were bockelhart and tiny, for that they tasted nothing. 3 thick hump grains were added, for which one would have needed about twice as much as there were. the minimalist selection of cheese and sausage was also taste-free. the quality of the food left to be desired in general. the obstsalat consisted of apples and a few small pieces melone. also the homemade limonade was not the scratch. the service was normal nice, but clearly overwhelmed. I would not recommend this breakfast, especially not for undamaged 30 euro.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
