"we had a secret escape break after friends recommended us amberley castle and we were not disappointed. when we arrived, as many people with lunch or afternoon there were no places in the parking lot, this was soon solved as the reception told us where we left our car and we left the key with them and our car was moved as soon as a room was available. our room was amazing, all the staff are excellent and make sure that their stay is the best possible, and what can I say exceptionally. amberley castle is not cheap, but they will certainly get a good value for money when they have a special celebration, this is a place that I recommend and hope to return a day."

"great place and excellent eating. Cheesecake light and creamy, never tasted better and not the full of pasta version, but creamy cheesy, excellent. service was a great polite and thoughtful, flexible booking before location to provide for pop in the guests. clean and tidy, maybe the floor covering should be improved as waiter, which by felt under my chair near."

"Mix reviews. First time I went had a great experience took the tartare which was delicious followed by the grilled fish with was also delicious. Would have given 5 stars. This time I ordered the bone marrow burger. It Was dry, very salty and served with a side salad without oil or vinaigrette wasn’t sure what the plan was with that. I definitely wouldn’t order again and service was on the cold side compared to first time. Would had given it a 3 stars at best. So averaging on the good side I’ll give it a 4 but based on this experience I don’t think I’ll return."

"Sergio’s is a fantastic experience all the way around, it starts first with the people. Friendly and personable. Dottie, Kasha, Hamza were attentive and engaging. We cannot say enough good things about them. We began our evening with a glass of Prosecco, accompanied with a mixed variety of olives w/ bright sliced citrus enhancing the flavors, which was perfect to snack. Along with the seafood salad: perfectly tender octopus, squid, mussels and clams. For our main course we enjoyed the evening special: king prawns w/spicy linguine. The prawns were split, and were nearly as large as your hand. The Veal Limone, a mainstay on the menu was tender and accompanied with shaved Parmesan and crisp arugula greens. We closed out the evening with an espresso and limoncello while sharing a delightful chat with Dottie. Her personality radiated, she was so welcoming and engaging which truly made you feel like family. Highly recommend you make Sergios part of your London journey, if you’re looking for authentic Italian with a neighborhood vibe, you’ve truly found the right place!"

"I’ve visited Issho many times before and it’s always somewhere I take friends who are visiting from out of town. We have always really enjoyed the food and ambience there. It was a special occasion tonight so my fiancé and I attended just the two of us. Being tapas style dining we are used to them bringing things out as and when it’s ready- but the wait time between all the dishes was so so so long and it was literally one dish coming at a time so we never ate a single one together. We waited a while for all the food and our drinks came even after the food did. I’m also 9 months pregnant at the moment and asked for some water while we waited which never came- we had to ask again for it. This happened with one or two things we had asked for for the table as well. I was still hungry after everything we had ordered had come as by this point we had been seated 2 hours and the food (just 3 small tapas dishes) had all been so spaced out I didn’t feel like I’d really eaten, we decided to stick at it and try and order some more and a dessert atleast- but honestly so long went by without a single person paying attention to our table or even seeing us try to make eye contact that we decided to just go. Even asking for the bill took forever and it honestly seemed like an inconvenience to the server that we needed service/help. Over 2 hours and £100 later for a few small dishes and mocktails. Just a really disappointing experience from a restaurant I have recommended to so many people in the past. The food is always wonderful but it’s hard to enjoy with service so poor like that. I’m never one to complain either, I’ve worked in restaurants myself and always have empathy and understanding during busy periods, but it was very very poor tonight."

"I love Greek cuisine. I have eaten here multiple times and celebrated my birthday here with a party of 4. Located just of Marylebone high street, the street is not too quiet and not too busy, it’s just right, located on a corner plot the restaurant gets lovely daylight through the glass if you’re eating in the evening in the summer and it compliments the decor inside. The decoration, fixtures and fittings are gorgeous giving a warm and cool feeling at the same time with the copper colours and metallic/wood fixtures. They have a long central, high chair dining table and normal tables for 2 and 4 people, I have dined on the high chairs for small meals, I wouldn’t recommend it for dinner as it gets uncomfortable. This place pushes Greek cuisine into the modern day with its contemporary tapas-style dishes. The staff are really friendly and there when you need them and when you don’t need them you won’t notice or be disturbed by them. This is a high-end Greek restaurant, I feel like it belongs in Mayfair however I admire the fact of their choice of location as I believe where Opso will be they stand out and don’t need to rely on a location for reputation. The menu is a little small, However, I appreciate it as it allows them to focus more on what is available and make it to perfection. The menu had a balanced variety and I honestly believe you will be happy with any of the dishes. The aesthetic presentation of the food is wonderful, awesome for taking pictures. The food is delicious I shan’t comment further, it speaks for itself. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, they facilitate well, they brought me a lovely slice of cake on a glass platter with my name written in chocolate sauce and candles and they brought it over and I had my 15mins of fame at Opso, they made me the centre of attention. Cocktails: They have good bartenders and I’m always left feeling satisfied (that’s what she said) lol. Booking is a fairly easy process however they do get busy quick as they are in demand so plan. Pricing, I find it very reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. When I take my wife here I spend between 100-140 for starters, mains, small desserts and cocktails. I have and will be eating here again."

"fantastic experience. I am pleased to share with you all my fantastic experience in the westcliff seafront. Today we are ready to enjoy a beautiful cocktail and so, we choose aurum restaurant terrace, we had visited it before a long time so why not try again. and yes, but they serve still wonderful cocktails with a fantastic service delivered! After we had greeted, we felt very comfortable and pleasant to be there, so we decided to try the food again and yes, it is quite expensive, but it is worth having the experience. excellent selection of quality drinks; vodka. rum. coffee available. it is ideal to enjoy a great chill out afternoon cocktails on the terrace or evening in the beautiful lounge bar. or if you want to enjoy an elegant dinner in your restaurant, this pleasant time can bring. refresh the touch with comfortable sitting and softer and beautiful lightness. the waitress is professional and participates with a beautiful smile. spotless clean yes, I would like to recommend it aurum restaurant!"

"Gorgeous!! I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is sublime! Each course is unique, exciting, incredibly well presented and filled with the most divine flavours. Highlights are: the bread and butter! I promise you will never eat a sticky bread bun as good as this in your life. The Wellington! I absolutely love the Wellington (I’m veggie). The gravy is rich, the puree it comes with divine. If they have the apple sorbet on the menu then buckle up for a one way ticket to heaven. I always love their soups. Oh yes, the duck egg! Served on straw! With a kind of salty dipping toast. I can’t remember all of the other courses. The meat courses are incredible I hear. Get the wine pairing: in for a penny, in for a pound. It’s worth it. I love the way they tell you all about each on. The decor is beautiful too. Gorgeous art on the way in. The loo! Sit back, relax, and enjoy! You’ll know what I mean when you go. I don’t want to spoil the surprise."

"I dropped into the Barley Mow while my wife was in a dance class at a nearby studio it had already been a long day and I was ready for a quiet pint! After walking through the surrounding area, dodging ferraris and wealthy tourists...taking selfies in front of the Connaught hotel( it was very refreshing to find a normal pub in the heart of the overpriced madness! The Barley Mow is artfully dishevelled, but boasts a good selection of beers (for a macro-brewery-owned pub) as well as a decent range of gin and whiskey. Everything is surprisingly reasonably-priced and there is a homely and welcoming feel to the place. I don’t know how they have managed to keep this oasis of normality in the middle of such an ostentatiously affluent area, but long may it continue! Definitely recommended for a quick drink and a quiet sit down while shopping/sightseeing!"

"Excellent! We spent around four hours here on a Tuesday afternoon sampling their food, savouring their coffee and scabbing their free wifi! I 'll start with the basics. The Refuge is conveniently located on Oxford Street just a two minute walk from the train station. The casual seating area is huge with plenty of places for different sized groups to sit, there 's even an Apprentice Style boardroom table. The vibe is very relaxed but when I entered I noticed a lot of business people (or people clearly working). The decor is fantastic, as mentioned its a huge open space but the dark wooden finish makes it feel close and comfortable. The lunch menu isn 't huge but they clearly want to keep things simple and do them right. I had the beef burger accompanied by skinny fries and it was delicious. Just the right consistency so you could pick it up without it falling apart. It was generously topped with salad and the 'posh big mac ' sauce finished it off nicely. If you want to eat you 'll have to head through to the dining area as they don 't serve food in the lounge beware this was very busy, even on a Tuesday, so you may need to book in advance. After lunch we headed back to the lounge area and had a coffees while we chatted. The coffee was great, I had a flat white which was just off on the good side of bitter. We also ordered snacks later in the day the Almonds cooked in bacon fat are a must try that might sound gross to some people but just wait until the bacon flavour hits your taste buds! To access the free wifi you 'll need to sign up wth your email address but then it 's all yours. I haven 't even received a spammy email a week later. It 's really hard to fault The Refuge the staff were attentive without being too in your face, which I suppose is important when people are using their premises for business meets! All in all a really great experience and a lovely place to spend the afternoon working."

"Went for dinner before going to a show at the O2. We were running late for our booking due to tube delays, but when we arrived the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We both had steak which was excellent. Would definitely go back again. Service was exceptional."

"as one of the best places to eat in the covent garden, the great queen street is known for seasonal and hearty British cuisine, where reservations must be due to its constant popularity. with a non-pretentious menu that is heavily based on fresh products, it changes daily, so that they can expect something new every day. coming in a full dining room with a reservation of 6:30 o'clock, it is popularity among the londoners obvious. under a small table in the middle, we ordered the two dishes recommended by our friendly waitress. the roasted hake served with the new season borlotti bran with a hot snail dressing was srumptious and I have sweetened the sauce with the free brot. my sister-baked lemon sole served with a cream brewed bisque was just as beautiful and we both cleaned our dishes with lightness! we were more than impressed by the eating and service of great queen street. the dishes allowed to shine the ingredients and it is a No-Frills Sorta menu, where edible flowers, unnecessary foam and bites are nowhere to find. the well-known staff can recommend the perfect drink pairing and despite the work, they were friendly, attentive and very efficient. the perfect way to finish our trip in london!"

"I have visited the yayoi Kusama exhibition, which I was very disappointed by how overwhelming the display was, although it was an interesting experience that there was not much for it. However, eating up for disappointment, which was out-of-the-box with great windows so that she was inviting about the themes the atmosphere was ludicrous. the staff was very friendly and despite the busy they were! also the food was great, I tried a new starter: carburized rag-Romesco sauce, it was a nice light on the palette and tasty, which was part small, but at the end I worked out when I was filled after the main thing. I had the confit dee for the main that was made beautiful, the vegetable bacon was a nice note and packed a lot of taste. far better than expected."

"Booked here for my partners mothers day meal with me and our two children. Booked for 5pm as our children need to be in bed for 7.30pm Menu was very limited with not a great deal to chose from and after waiting for our food for over an hour (which I kind of expected and wasn’t to mad at with it being Mother’s Day) I decided to ask a staff member to check in on our food which turned out that our food had not even been made. They offered to put the food on but at this point it was too late so we had to leave. A full refund was issued but unfortunately we won’t be returning."

"Located in the town center, this restaurant has limited parking availability. The wine selection is limited to only two options, priced at £15, which is about average. There was a bit of a wait before receiving service, likely due to the lunch rush. Despite the crowd, we were seated at a pleasant table by the window, which helped keep the temperature comfortable."

"Lovely cafe though long wait for food. The kids love the Little Farmers breakfast with scrambled eggs though my coffee wasn’t great. Would be lovely if they had more vegetable dishes (a ratatouille or veg casserole with fresh local produce would be wonderful). Also, they sell a product called ‘sh!t happens’ alongside the kids items which isn’t the smartest product placement"

"The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. The staff were quite pushy about taking our order, which didn't allow us much time to peruse the menu. This may have been influenced by the current restrictions, but it felt a bit overwhelming. Additionally, they served all the food at once. While the quality of the food was impressive, the staff could have been more friendly and personable instead of coming across as robotic."

"I sat downstairs on a busy Friday night with two friends. The service was perfect. The receptionist was charming. Our waitress was attentive and skilful. We sat at a large communal table. She made helpful suggestions as we chose from the menu, kept our glasses topped up, produced all the dishes on time and was super efficient with our bill. I paid for a bottle of wine and we split the food bill. She gave us 4 separate bills without being asked to. The food was fine, the atmosphere civilised, exactly what you want on a relaxed night out"

"Charming and quaint setting, discreetly tucked away behind Bond st. Food was delicious. Burrata was probaby the freshest I have tasted. I wanted the Avocado and eggs from the brunch menu but they had run out of avocado. The Halloumi fries were very nice. The truffle chips were delish as well. On the downside, they do not have a No Smoking policy outside, so you are forced to inhale second hand smoke, if you want to sit outside. Very unpleasant."
