"I dropped into the Barley Mow while my wife was in a dance class at a nearby studio it had already been a long day and I was ready for a quiet pint! After walking through the surrounding area, dodging ferraris and wealthy tourists...taking selfies in front of the Connaught hotel( it was very refreshing to find a normal pub in the heart of the overpriced madness! The Barley Mow is artfully dishevelled, but boasts a good selection of beers (for a macro-brewery-owned pub) as well as a decent range of gin and whiskey. Everything is surprisingly reasonably-priced and there is a homely and welcoming feel to the place. I don’t know how they have managed to keep this oasis of normality in the middle of such an ostentatiously affluent area, but long may it continue! Definitely recommended for a quick drink and a quiet sit down while shopping/sightseeing!"

Nice traditional pub that we popped into for a pint. Will be back to try the food.

Came in here before going for dinner round the corner. Nice boozer, good choice of beers and ciders.

The cleanest pub I've ever been to! Beautiful wood construction, thoughtful design, with all the right basics: good drinks, clean bathrooms, great service.

We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. Despite the pub being busy, the service was quick. The upstairs restaurant, which we didn't eat at, looked lovely. View menu

Sadly, didn't have the drinks I wanted. Very busy on a Saturday teatime and no seats. We had only popped in for a quick drink after shopping. Would be a great venue to start an evening

We stopped by for Sunday lunch with a party of four. The lamb and beef dishes were very enjoyable and cost around £35 per person. The wine was also reasonably priced and of good quality.

My Dad and I came for a Sunday lunch and found the atmosphere to be lovely and peaceful. The staff were exceptional and made our experience great! I ordered the croque monsieur and my Dad had the roast, both were delicious. View menu

Popped in and had the Beef burger with Salted beef. Burger was really good, pint of the local Camden Hells was a good drop and service was star. Plenty of screens to watch sport on and can imagine it would be a brilliant atmosphere....Recommended.

We dropped into this pub when they had a guest ale (I presume) on we weren't told about it until after we'd ordered other drinks and been served. So naturally, we didn't expect a refund or anything like that of any sort just mentioned,...could we possibly have our free one, bit annoying because we've now paid for and have a spare. The man working behind the bar apologised profusely and was very pleasant. The bar lady who works there however, seems particularly sour faced and unpleasant most of the time. The barley mow darts are horrific, definitely need to be replaced, there is only one dart that is in average condition and ALMOST throwable Everything is reasonably priced and it's nice to fi...

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
