"We went for a traditional afternoon tea. It's very easy to find the restaurant is located right in the heart of Bath. We were booked for 12 pm, their first slot of a day, however, we had to queue to enter both pre booked and walk in come at the same time and share the same queue. The environment is peaceful, there is a reasonable distance between tables and you feel quite private. Their pianist was fantastic, he played well known pieces of music with his own improvisations. Slightly let down as it didn't look like everyone was served at the similar time there was a couple who were brought their tea first and the food after, while we were waiting for someone to approach us, and once we were brought ours, there were other visitors still waiting at empty tables. We also didn't expect one of our teas to be brewed of a teabag with the others being loose teas of a high quality, not quite fair. The food was good and it was a very generous amount. 4 plates in total (sandwiches, savoury snacks, scones and cakes). We were very full and took some cakes away. To sum up I recommend this place for an afternoon tea although, there are some points to work on, there are great positive sides to outweigh."
