"as one of the best places to eat in the covent garden, the great queen street is known for seasonal and hearty British cuisine, where reservations must be due to its constant popularity. with a non-pretentious menu that is heavily based on fresh products, it changes daily, so that they can expect something new every day. coming in a full dining room with a reservation of 6:30 o'clock, it is popularity among the londoners obvious. under a small table in the middle, we ordered the two dishes recommended by our friendly waitress. the roasted hake served with the new season borlotti bran with a hot snail dressing was srumptious and I have sweetened the sauce with the free brot. my sister-baked lemon sole served with a cream brewed bisque was just as beautiful and we both cleaned our dishes with lightness! we were more than impressed by the eating and service of great queen street. the dishes allowed to shine the ingredients and it is a No-Frills Sorta menu, where edible flowers, unnecessary foam and bites are nowhere to find. the well-known staff can recommend the perfect drink pairing and despite the work, they were friendly, attentive and very efficient. the perfect way to finish our trip in london!"

Cozy and intimate place in Covent Garden with dim lighting, lively conversations and great food.

We loved this placeIt's run by Spaniards, and they serve a strange melange of traditional British fare with continental delicacies.

The savory cake is delicious! The filling tastes just like a delicious chicken soup. The price of 30 is not bad for 2 servings. The waiter was friendly and helpful. View menu

Outstanding. The focus here is on the pie! I have revisited this place since my last review and still believe it's outstanding. I can't resist the pie. Without a doubt, the best in London, if not the entire UK!

Great Queen Street has a great vibe, its casual, dark and kind of loud. I love when you can see the kitchen in a restaurant and even hear it a little, you get this with Great Queen Street, its dramatic and I just love that.

The main dish was tasty, cooked well, lying on top of the beans and tomato sauce. It was also a fun dish to eat – the finger bowl provided giving permission to pick up the bits to get the last remnants of the meat off the bones. View menu

9.5/10 for the service on the counter and 7.5/10 for food. it is very busy restaurant, so highly recommended to book a table. we had no reservation and went last night. there's only a place to stand. it turned out that we get the best service of all time! super good and fast service from the staff at the bar. highly recommended! the bottom was the quality and part of the food. my dish:Great plaice was too big for a person and Runny sauce. my man court:crab gratin was quite small for pornstars. the taste of eating was in order. easy. next time I'll order more meat dish. If you're here, here!
