"Thank you Lutyens for another excellent lunch. My sister who joined me as my guest had a broken foot and the manager and staff were most accommodating in finding a box to stand it on so it was raised. The Dover sole is always very good but as a beer drinker could they stock Birra Moretti as well as Peroni as the former is much nicer and it's what the Italians drink!"

"Amazing food and excellent service, my friend complained about one of the wines to the end and they offered us free digestive drinks to make sure! Overall the ambience was great and very attentive!"

"The restaurant is in a hotel and did not look like the photos. It was nonetheless quite nice (we went to the bar area as the traditional restaurant looked very much like a typical hotel restaurant). The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the food was good (burgers pasta). It was a little on the pricey side but not too bad and really nice quality. The wines were very expensive with the house bottles being at £37.50. The house white was particularly nice though. We shared a large tasty cheese cake. I'm not sure I would go there again because I have travelled a lot and try and avoid hotels but it is a good place."

"It was very average. Maybe my expectations were too high, but the prices on the menu suggested high quality and a friendly service. The service was bad, not welcoming at all. Drinks and cutlery slammed down on the table by multiple staff members. Not many smiles or polite manners. Food was average, not amazing and definitely not worth the price. Parking: Only 2-3 space for disabled parking. Kid-friendliness: Probably not somewhere you would bring your children."

"For the price you pay, this place is extremely noisy. It was difficult to have a conversation since the tables are packed too closely together. When I'm spending so much on a meal, I expect a better atmosphere. The service was lacking as well; the staff appeared either overwhelmed or indifferent. I had to actually call the gentleman back just to order my sides after he walked away immediately following my main order. On a positive note, the quality of the food was good, so hats off to the chef!"

"Who knew there was an outdoor ski lodge just behind the British Museum?? The Montague had done a fantastic job of recreating a covered bar and informal dining area in their patio area and it was great fun! The menu set up was different to what was described on TT there was no set price anything which made it more expensive than expected but also more flexible as two of our group ended up not drinking. The two choices of fondue were delicious and the tasting platter looked amazing. Service was really friendlyalthough there were times when the bar was unattended so we had to wait for more drinks etc but that was minor as the staff had really got into the spirit and made it a really great experience. I'll definitely be returning next year"

"Service was main issue- less than energetic!!. Food was good, could have been warmer, but it sat waiting for a server to move it from waiting point to table , desserts sat 10mins and when we chased them they got taken back downstairs and we had to further wait. Ordered 4 coffees, got 2. Told waiter it was wrong, waited, then he brought 1 more coffee, not 2. Was very busy but seemed to be some lazy staff instead of just busy- have to commend Annika though- she tried hard to please all the tables whilst her colleagues failed her by minimal effort Disappointing, could have been better"

"The food was incredible and the service was excellent. I ordered the shrimp appetizer and the filet Signor Sassi, both of which were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the parmesan cheese and olives that were served before the meal instead of bread. It was a great option for someone like me who cannot eat bread or wheat products."

"GIVE IT A GO!!! Chupitos is such a lovely welcoming restaurant me and my family have been frequent visitors for quite a few years. We have previously been for Sunday dinners, birthdays, mothers day, fathers day, new years eve, and the odd Friday and Saturday night. The food is amazing and always plenty of options all freshly cooked and well portioned. The cocktails are also just as good as any London cocktail bar. Yes sometimes when it is busy or we have come with a very large table we have had to wait a bit but you would get that in most reasonable priced restaurants as they limit their staff to keep costs down. Also their food is cooked fresh and it is soo tasty it is worth the wait. While you browse the menu order a basket of bread with their in house aioli it is amazing. You have to try the cheese and chorizo or the scallops to start followed by the fillet steak with Padron peppers or a roast beef dinner with their glazed veg and roast pots is soo good. If you have room for dessert then all the options are delicious so maybe share and try them all! I have not given a review before as this is not something I generally do, but on our visit this weekend when we inquired how business was doing Katie expressed concern about how a bad review with false allegations could effect her business and she was upset at being called a racist I felt bad for not giving a them a review before so thought I would make sure to do it this time. "the food generally was very good and tastey although a very limited menu, especially the main courses for vegetarians... only 1 option....... so we settled for 2 starters each and a dessert which was yummie.... the chocolate brownie.... The service was extreamly slow even though we were the only table in at one point and although the staff were very polite and pleasant they lacked va va voom and the ability to make you feel special. The price structure seemed a bit pricey but would have been acceptable if the ambiance and service had matched the food Overall an OK evening but nothing to encourage a return visit any time soon"

"Ventured to the Tilbury for Sunday lunch. We'll worth the visit. 3 roast dinners that were exceptional and the beer battered halloumi fries which was scrumptious. We also had the lovely calamari for a starter. No small plates of food here, ample helpings for the hungry. Great attentive staff, very helpful and extremely polite. Yes it's a little pricey, but we came away feeling we had excellent value for money. Great venue!! A great quality restaurant in a pub setting. Absolutely nailed it!"

"The food was generally very good and flavorful, but the menu was quite limited, particularly for vegetarian options, with only one choice available. We started with two appetizers and shared a dessert, which was delicious—a chocolate brew. The service, however, was quite slow, even though we were the only table at the time. While the staff was polite and friendly, they lacked a certain energy that would make us feel special. The pricing seemed a bit high, but it might have been acceptable if the atmosphere and service had matched the quality of the food. Overall, it was an okay evening, but not enough to entice us to return anytime soon."

"Visited with some work colleagues for a birthday lunch and we had a fab time. We were served by Maria and Susana and both were attentive, polite and always smiling. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the half francasinha as I knew that this was a very filling dish and I still felt really full afterwards. My two colleagues also struggled o finish their food. The portion sizes are such good value for the price paid. The desserts are also homemade we had the flan which been made only that morning really delicious. They heard we had a birthday on the table and so one of the flans came with a candle and the staff sang happy birthday so nice of them to go this extra mile."

"We had a lovely evening at the White Hart with friends. There was quite a bit of noise from the bar but that was unusual when we have dined here before it has not been noisy. Parking is a bit tricky so you may want to leave a bit of time to find a parking spot on busy evenings like Friday and Saturday. I don't know what it is like during the day."

"The service is excellent, but the food was a bit hit and miss. We had a really lovely camembert starter and then my partner had the pie which he said was OK but kind of stodgy, I had caesar salad which was quite a dry peice of over cooked chicken in a bit of a messy salad. I didn't eat it all because it wasn't very nice. The wine was lovely and the waitress was fantastic. It was a bit like the food you'd expect to get at a Weatherspoon pub, so kind of expensive for budget food and not great cooking. I'd definitely go for a drink there again, because the service is great and the interior of the pub is really lovely but I would look to eat somewhere else in the village. There's a place up the road from there that does amazing Thai food and the curry house is also really good."

"I hadn't been to this gastropub in 8 years, but I was pleasantly surprised by the improvements. My partner and I made a reservation for lunch on New Year's Eve, where we enjoyed delicious roasts. You even have the option to pre-order whole chickens, and the staff will send you the menu in advance. I opted for the standard roast beef, which was anything but standard - it was served in generous portions alongside tender potatoes and a fluffy Yorkshire Pudding. The tables were well spaced out and the staff was attentive, so I will definitely be coming back."

"in the center of the medieval canterbury is an old and tasty restaurant, named for the famous Trapiste, which serves typical Belgian foods (although we are in england). this place is a cross between a bar, a tea room and a restaurant. besides a large selection of beers, they enjoy delicious dishes such as the exceptional burgers that are served with homemade brot, or the special tee with cream. the restaurant has a rustic feel, and each chair is another style. the terrace is magnificent, and there is even a pavillon, decorated with tiny lights that they feel like surrounded by stars in the midst of this beautiful medieval building. on the ground floor they find a piano with a sign that invites guests to entertain the audience with their musical talents. excellent service, with waiterven are always friendly and helpful."

"charlottes w5 used to be one of our favourites to eat and entertain friends, but recently the dinge seems to have gone a bit wrong. when we arrived, we were told that most fresh fish dishes were not available because the supplier might not have supplied any disturbing sign? the sweet potatoes gnocchi were not good, the others were okay. the service was, however, very complete and not on the standard for the prices they raise in my opinion. it was not busy, but we had to draw attention to order and ask twice for the beverage menu. chips were forgotten, coffee was forgotten, the personal looked haunted. on the plus side the appetizers arrived immediately and were good (although from any reason the Caesar salad was not available? odd) and the waitress offered a free pudding in exchange for a plate of uneaten gnocchi. we can return, but unfortunately I don't think we have the chance to invite friends there again."

"Sunday was absolutely delicious, we had the beef sirloin and it was cooked to perfection. the buses were all delicious and they have a fantastic wine selection, we chose a South African chenin blanc. our table was up in her big dining room, that was quite full, but we had a nice table and the atmosphere was jovial, if not a little loud. I would recommend this pub for eating very roast, especially Sunday and will certainly pay another visit. eating was absolutely delicious and fantastic value for money. we had two courses and a bottle very good wein for just £60 pp inclusive service fee. very good experience and I will return absolutely."
