"SUPERB. Nice range of delicious food, polite and efficient service. Rookie error: we hadn 't booked (a Wednesday lunchtime in mid November but it was very busy. Perfect scones and cakes. Huge tea pots. Very reasonable prices. Tips: 1. Try the specials : (soup of the day broccoli and Stilton was amazing . 2. Leave room for a cake (a wide selection will tempt you from the middle of the main room . Can very highly recommend the mincemeat Bakewell ; 3. Walk before or after in the nearby park if it 's open. 4. There 's a large car park, please use it. Too many visitors spoil this pretty village by thinking that they 're special and park on the narrow road in front of the tearooms. 5. BOOK. Price per person: £10–20"
