"Absolutely delicious, with fast and attentive service. Two adults and two teens all ordered mango lassis to drink. We shared the vegetable samosas, tandoori mixed grill, chicken korma, butter chicken, and palak paneer. Plus the most aromatic yellow rice and naan bread. All was delicious and we would order again! We would recommend ordering half of what we ordered though each order is plenty for two people to share with no leftovers. We did not expect to find top notch Punjabi food in the middle of Hof, Germany but here we are! Another nice to know is that the staff also speak fluent English and the menus are bilingual. It was a great experience as both tourists from the US and for my husband who is originally from Hof. Vegetarian options: We had a vegetarian w our group. It was a welcome respite from many of the meat forward food options here in Bavaria. She loved everything she ordered."

"I have been in this restaurant several times and will shall come back in my next visit to Hof. They had several Italian dishes, but for me the best is there pizza. It’s simply incredible. "Die Bedienung war freundlich und nahm zügig unsere Bestellung auf. Das Essen erhielten wir nach angemessener Zeit, Besteck, Gläser und Tischdecke waren sauber. Die Fischsuppe war gut, der Meeresfrüchtesalat schmeckte etwas langweilig. Unsere beiden Pizzen waren reichlich belegt, hätten jedoch etwas knuspriger sein können, aber das ist geschmackssache. Insgesamt waren wir mit dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis zufrieden."

"Bei soviele gute Bewertungen dachte ich warum nicht? Naja ist halt typische Touristen Essen. Exotische Namen aber mit richtige asiatische essen hat das nicht wirklich viel zu tun. Es handelt sich hauptsächlich um fertiges Essen, sehr trocken, sehr fettig. Als meine Mutter (Asiatin) den Reis gegessen hat, hat sie mich enttäuscht angeguckt. So nachdem Motto warum zwingst du mich sowas zu essen?! Die Nacht durfte ich draußen schlafen. Auf der Speisekarte steht extra frische gemüse , das einzige frische gemüse war bei mir vllt paar gewürze und Zwiebel. Suppe übertrieben dickflüssig, man schmeckt auch sofort das es sich komplett um eine fertige Suppe handelt."

Popey Pizza mit ganzen Spinatblättern und ungerösteten Pinienkernen. Aber die Krönung waren die hausgemachten, mit Ruccola und Mascarpone gefüllten Nudeln mit Salbeibutter. Keine Spur von Salbei (ersetzt durch Petersilie) und Butter (ersetzt durch kalte, rote, undefinierbare Sauce). Reaktion der Bedienung nach Reklamation: das ist nach Art des Hauses, macht die Köchin immer so. Frutti di Mare Pizza war ok. Früher wae das ein gutes Restaurant, Trotzdem nie wieder. "Angenehmes, modernes Ambiente in kleinem Gastraum, der trotzdem nicht beengt eingerichtet ist. Freundliche Bedienung. Die überschaubare Standardkarte wird durch auf zwei Schiefertafeln vermerkten Tagesgerichten ergänzt.Sehr empfehlenswert sind die Pasta, aber auch Pizzen, Fleisch und Fisch werden in bester Qualität hervorragend zubereitet. Ich hatte Tagliarini mit Roastbeef, Pilzen, frittiertem Knoblauch und Pasta für 16.50 € eine sehr gute Entscheidung.Als Gruß aus der Küche wurde uns ein Himbeer-Dessert serviert, das frisch und fruchtig das Essen abrundete.Bei der überschaubaren Weinauswahl ist der Lugana besonders empfehlenswert.Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch."

"I wonder why these bad reviews I live with mine about a 5 minute walk away just give us a call and we're good to go within 10 to 20 minutes depending on the dish the food is ready and we can take it away.. it's super tasty and freshly made when sometimes it takes longer no problem just drink a beer or a cola in the time on site and the thing has worked out... the boss and the team are super friendly and there is a grappa on the house from time to time so what more could you want so"

"We would have liked to eat there on Sundays at 13:00, but my slipper in Schleiz made sure that I didn't get a drink here, which was a typical Franconian dish from the pork school, which was unfortunately already the day. But for this, a small beer and a big special, with turtles with red cabbage and dumplings. This is already a rustic place, and also really recommended. Well, if there were local people, as a tourist in court, I would never have found the place. I always like to remember Meinels-Bas when I buy pork school at the slaughterhouse. Some have even heard the word baptism. 5 stars only if I had got drunks, but in sunshine we sat in the beer garden, just beautiful. "Als wir zu einen spontanen Mittagssnack auf der Suche nach einem geigneten Cafe, Bistro etc waren viel uns das Bistro Italiano sofort ins Auge. Wir entschieden uns beide für einen kleinen Beilagesalat und den Tagliatelle mit frischen Pfifferlingen der Tageskarte! Nicht nur die Pasta sondern auch die Pfifferlinge war auf den Punkt gegart und perfekt abgestimmt.... Der Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam, so das wir uns wohlfühlen konnten... Wir kommen wieder ;-)"

"It's the restaurant from Hotel Central. It's not a cheap restaurant but fair. I have had a small menu but I ordered it without dessert and they reduced the price accordingly. Here you get very high quality food; specially the Black Angus Beef is fantastic...(one of the best I ever had). Also nice ambience in addition with attentive staff. No stress or arguing with colleagues as other reviewers wrote. Waiting time is absolutely acceptable even if the restaurant is very occupied. All in all a obvious recommendation."

"Our impression was not so good.It cost 30€ per person and small children had a 2 year old with 4€The ambience was fine. I just found the blues and red chairs didn't fit, but that's a good thing.Positive:There was a beautiful playground for children. At the end, lucky cookies and plenty of space for the guests.The alcohol-free drinks were at the price.Many tasted it and many others like me not so.Negative:I personally found the single dishes not so delicious as well as the fried, partly this was not through.The chocolate fountain was cold so the chocolate was not solid at the fruits. Not all varieties were indicated on the ice map. The dessert was also not entirely to my taste as well as the salads.The pommes were freshly picked and were cold so it was also with some other dishes. A clean bowl was easily filled with food remains and the counters were also partly unclean. Compared to others, this was not so good.There was too little choice.It would have been nice if there were more larger bowls.There were only flat plates and small bowls on a vase. At the ice stand"

"The Syrtaki restaurant is quite inconspicuous from the outside as you see the integrated snack first. When you enter the restaurant, you will be surrounded by the Greek cordiality. It is a restaurant that is not too big and therefore cozy. Guest rooms and sanitary facilities are very clean. In the background plays typical Greek music and sometimes is played live The menu is lush, but by far not as overloaded as in the other Mediterranean restaurant. The price performance rate is high, e.g. lamb cotellets with roast potatoes 12.30€. Each dish serves a salad with beautiful yogurt dressing and it takes only 15 20 minutes until the waiter brings the food. The waiters are absolutely authentic and very polite. It is a pleasure not to have the napkins with Greek German translation, but to have them colorful, which harmonize with the color of the interior. So, Yamas!"
