"beautiful small bistro with beautiful service, but the quality does not follow. a pasta menu starts from approx. 7 eur. the pasta I got was drowning in cream sauce more sauce than pasta is rarely a good sign. in comparison to similar places that I. below average for this performance that they made, I suspect that this could be a single incident or simply do not go pasta here. Anyway, this was a bad kitchen performance, but very decent service."

"Das kleine Restaurant ist ein wahrer Schatz am Rande des Taunus. Für alle, die in diesem Umkreis wohnen und für japanische Küche weder nach Wiesbaden noch nach Frankfurt fahren wollen, ist dieses Restaurant perfekt.Insgesamt hat das Restaurant vielleicht 30 Plätze, ein kleiner Teppan-Grill ist vorhanden und Sushi/Sashimi als auch Ramen/Soba wird angeboten.Die Bedienung war sehr auf Zack und hat unsere Bestellungen vorbildlich abgearbeitet und serviert. Zwischenzeitlich wurde immer mal wieder nach Getränken gefragt oder ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit sei.Das bekloppte "alles in Ordnung bei Ihnen?" aus anderen Restaurants hört man hier nie.Frequentiert wird das Restaurant auch von japanischen Gästen, was immer ein gutes Zeichen ist.Es gibt zwei japanische Biersorten, unter anderem auch Asahi, sowie guten grünen Tee.Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder hierher zurück - auch wenn das Hamon preislich, wie die meisten Japaner - nichts für jeden Tag ist."

"Italienischer geht nicht! Schwerpunkt ist die Heimatsküche (Kalabrien) der jungen Inhaber. Das Lokal selbst bietet zwei Räume (auf 2 Etagen) und eine sehr gemütliche Terrasse. Das Restaurant ist liebevoll mit vielen kleinen Details eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort wie Zuhause. Der Empfang ist warmherzig. Man stellt fest, dass viele Stammgäste anwesend sind und spricht für die Qualität der Küche. Hier gibt es keine Speisekarte sondern Klemmbretter. Die Antipasti sind hervorragend zubereitet und ohne Schick-Schnack. Einfache, effiziente, bodenständige Küche. So sollte eine "Frischtheke" mit Antipasti aussehen: nichts schwimmt in Öl, das Gemüse knackig gegrillt und noch Vitaminenreich, alles kurzfristig zubereitet. Die in Holzofen gebackene Pizza ist der Hammer. Der Teig ist knusprig aber auch nicht zu sehr (irgendwie wie in Napoli - wo sie noch die "echte Pizza" backen). Bei den Hauptgerichten, sei Fisch oder Fleisch, wiaren wir begeistert. Alles auf dem Punkt gebraten! Obwohl die Inhaber sehr jung sind und damit eine begrenzte Gastronomieerfahnung vorweisen, sie können viele andere erfahrene Gastronomen in den Schatten stellen. Bei den Desserts sollte man hier ein wenig "exotischer" werden. Die klassiche italienische Desserts sind zwar angeboten aber das war´s auch. Da gibt es Nachholbedarf. Die Weinauswahl ist sehr professionell gemacht. Viele Weine werden auch "By The Glas" angeboten. Das fanden wir sehr gut! Im Ganzen ein tolles Lokal mit lockerer Atmosphäre. Preis sind sehr ok!!! Am Wochenende sollte man schon vorab reservieren."

"Too late in the store we were looking for something to eat. Around 21:58 (two minutes before the kitchen close!!! We came to this place and asked if we could order food. It wasn't a problem. Thanks to the service and the kitchen. I know that's not self-evident! The evening was complete. The dishes were excellent and freshly cooked, with seasonal ingredients. This is no longer experienced. If we're back here, we'll definitely be back. The ladies in service were very nice and friendly. I can only recommend."

"Wir haben heute in diesem Restaurant Lasagne und rigatoni Forno abgeholt. Vor ein paar Jahren war diese Pizzeria absolut überragend. Was wir heute gegessen haben war unterstes Niveau. Die Lasagne war warm bis richtig kalt (typisch Mikrowelle ), viel zu viel Soße und kaum Lasagneplatten. Ich habe die Schale dann auf einen Teller gekippt und noch einmal erwärmt. Dadurch war der Anblick des Gerichtes auch noch widerlich. Das andere nudelgerichte war nicht so flüssig aber auch aus der MW. Mir hat es den Appetit auf Lasagne für lange Zeit verdorben. Da schmeckt die €3,99 Variante vom Supermarkt besser."

"they would not expect a rather friendly place in this environment. jenny and binder offer a great service, with good quality of food, for an affordable price; hard to beat, it is not:O) the menu offers local (German) specialties combined with Indian food, and there...always are seasonal specialties. in summer you can enjoy a place outside on the terrace, tennis courts and green. the team is very active and organized events and parties. there are enough parking spaces. a very nice place, for couples or groups, where the mix is just right."

"There were four of us there and we were warmly greeted and served. The food (2x vegetarian, 2x with meat) was without exception very good and absolutely fresh. The following evening the four of us came by again and were greeted personally we almost felt like regular guests. The food and service were also top this evening. The only negative point that can be said is that the passage to the restaurant (if you don't come from the main street) unfortunately doesn't leave a great impression but it's not at the Urfa Grill but at the empty location next door (at least at the time of the visit)."

"I realize that as I write this, my opinion is a not the majority opinion, but here it goes anyhow: Do you get giddy with happiness when you see HUMONGOUS plates of food? Imagine if you will, a two-pound dry boring schnitzel on your plate. Imagine ordering a hamburger that is about 10 inches in diameter. If that excites you into euphoria, then Waldgeist is your kinda place. The menu lists most items in small, medium, and large. People gorge themselves. Never mind that the food has only a bit more flavor than cardboard -- it's great fun to say, "I went there - the food is HUGE"- right? There are no prices on the menu -- who cares?? You get to talk some more about how BIG the food is. Unless you order a salad, there are no healthy food choices here. Plenty of beer. BIG beer. There are both outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor is mostly picnic-table style. The place is rustic, not sophisticated whatsoever. Many people will be happy with this. I will close saying the Waldgeist is NOT in any way, shape, or form an elegant dining experience. Simply be advised. It is a lot like a noisy PIG-NICK!"

"We think this is the best restaurant in Hofheim. It is located in an old "Fachwerk" - house with old German interior in the middle of the old centre of Hofheim am Taunus. They have a very nice and quiet beergarten as well, although it is only 30 meters from the marketplace. On this square there is a market every Wednesday and Saturday - morning. The plates are German high quality, but different then you'll will find elsewhere. The prices are more than average, between 15 and 25 € for a plate, but you can also find offers. (E.g. Lunch menu 2 courses for around 19,- or in the evening a 4 courses menu for 56,-)You really have to try this restaurant !"

"After two years of pandemic we returned to Gundelhard after a long hike. It makes fun to sit under the shaded chestnut trees in the Arabian beer garden and strengthen yourself with good Hessian dishes. The menu is smaller than kept in front of the pandemic, but offers something for every taste. Excellent, grounded kitchen with tasty, very well prepared hessian dishes, tidy portions! My table top with roast potatoes and green sauce left nothing to be desired, the strawberry parfait delicious! The highlight is undoubtedly the green sauce, one of the best in Frankfurt. Friendly service, somewhat overwhelmed, but in view of the full utilization on holiday completely understandable. TOP price-performance ratio, fully recommended!"

There are pickups and delivery services in this restaurant. The menu has a good size and prices are very favorable. The pizzas are available in 2 sizes, these are specified in cm, that is fair. My pizza diavolo with extra garlic and anchovy was there after 10 minutes and very excellent. The dough was loose and crispy and the coverings were fresh and tasted delicious. Here I experienced original Italian quality and friendliness and felt comfortable."
