"Ordered food and a bottle of wine (37.00) for a bottle of white really !!! Waited well over an hour for our main coarse , staff asked us if we’d like to see the desert menu and we’d not even had the mains ,left and had a great pizza from davincis Honley , will not revisit Devour ever again , shame such a lovely place just not run correctly , unlike Meze Brighouse !!!! "I came here for a Christmas meal and I have to say this is an exceptional pub. The food quality was amazing and I cannot fault a thing as it was quickly served and piping hot. The puddings were fantastic with a decent range. In addition to this, they had no trouble seating the ten of us and we were welcomed in even though we were thirty minutes early. The pub has an enjoyable atmosphere with a traditional feeling. I strongly recommend this for any meal but especially for special occasions such as a birthday or Christmas. I have been left extremely satisfied with my all-round experience and would certainly look forward to coming here again."

"visited this pub in holmfirth, as it was used in the TV show 'last of summer wine ' beautiful looking from the outside with a lot of memory from the show at the walls. it was a little gone, how cold it was in the waitress that swore over us while they choose from the menu. would have a little more time to study the menu, especially since the pub was empty. eating was okay, nothing special with average prices. would visit again, but only for the nostalgia."

"All things taken into account this is the perfect restaurant. I grew up in an area of Asian cooking and was lucky enough to spend my childhood eating with neighbours and loving their home cooking and hospitality. Bengal spice is a great mix of traditional style and restaurant flair. The depth of flavours across the menu is an exciting adventure and still not finished it all! I’ve now been travelling here regularly for 5 years while trying other places too. Arthur and team still miles ahead Keeping up the good work all along with a great new bar area upstairs too. Well done guys !"

"tonight at mezze with my fussy friend and a 6-year-old child. was easy to choose from the menu to keep us all happy. everything was really delicious. even the fusssys have the most dinge. six dinges from the menu, two puddings, a bottle of wine and a beautiful beer, and the bill was £72. quite reasonable for eating so good. service, ambiente, etc. was all on the square. beautiful."

"Tried this out as fancied something different to the usual and we were very pleased. Food was lovely and the lady serving us was very friendly and helped with recommendations.I was a little bit disappointed there isn't a sort of sharing platter to have to try lots of things and as the starters are quite expensive, I didn't feel like we could order more than We will have to try some more next time. I am pescatarian so the menu is relatively limited as to be expected, but the options were great and my main was wonderful.The Lebanese lager is very nice and well worth a try.We will be back again, and have recommended to friends"

"Cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. We turned up on a Tuesday evening expecting plenty of room, it was packed. The owner said if we went next door for a drink he would come and fetch us when there was room. 30 minutes later he asked us to come in. It was 'special thali ' evening, fixed price for a selection of dishes. It was so good, an excellent way of trying different flavours, and very good value. If we didn 't live 300 miles away we would come here time and time again. 5 stars plus. Vegetarian options: We had chicken and vegetarian option, to try different dishes. All excellent."

"here in the front of a gigs in the picturedrome a table. great location next door. very friendly welcome by the barman and good efficient service. one of their burgers would have decided themselves and even though I wasn't really a burger this was delicious with a generous part of the chips . nice pre-concert meal in a beautiful small pub . well recommended."
