Everyone enjoyed the special birthday celebrations and said the meal was fantastic the staff were brilliant too.

When we came by, we decided on Sunday dinner. it was one of the best we had for a long time. the staff was polite and helpful. we're coming back!

a deceitful Jewel! the pub is quite normal, but eating when the first class. the reviews saw and thought we would go, was not disappointed! there is a lot of competition in the antidote that is great, I would highly recommend this pub and will definitely visit again.

Good food traditionally cooked, great value for money, huge portion sizes. But they offer smaller portion or sharing plates too. Really good customer service, but the restaurant area was not heated and the seat was uncomfortable, so we didn't stay longer than the meal. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5

OMG iv not had pork belly like this since australia you gotta try it , the sauce was amazing i even got a little takeaway portion for home it was that good, the steak and ale pie here is to die for and the best around these parts the brie was delicious with the chefs special batter service was awesome Harry and his team were class , great product knowledge whilst at the same time training a new member of staff who was also lovely, 10/10 for food and beer good on ya guys

I came here for a Christmas meal and I have to say this is an exceptional pub. The food quality was amazing and I cannot fault a thing as it was quickly served and piping hot. The puddings were fantastic with a decent range. In addition to this, they had no trouble seating the ten of us and we were welcomed in even though we were thirty minutes early. The pub has an enjoyable atmosphere with a traditional feeling. I strongly recommend this for any meal but especially for special occasions such as a birthday or Christmas. I have been left extremely satisfied with my all-round experience and would certainly look forward to coming here again.
