"Disappointing experience, a place we wanted to try due to the reviews being so positive. We chose the bottomless brunch and sat in the courtyard. The food was ok but my muffin was rock hard underneath the egg. The head waiter wasn’t particularly helpful and and the younger waiter I found to be a little rude. We were told to wave when ever we wanted a drink but were left outside and forgotten about. There was nobody outside as both waiters stood around and didn’t think to check. The only reason we managed to get any drinks was because the fridge and freezers etc were outside so had to ask repeatedly to have the heater on and for drinks. So not a place either of us would go to or recommend."

"Menu looked promising. A mixture of traditional pub food and more exotic dishes. The Korean egg starter was tasty and flavoursome. Unfortunately the toasted cheese stack was very stodgy and bland and the scone like base didn't really work for me. The flatbread was huge and filling but would have preferred it wiih a tomato sauce base instead of the sweet onion chutney. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The decor is traditional and clean and lovely views. There is a car park. The music was a bit annoying at times, a mixed play list but some of the songs weren't very relaxing, especially as the clientele were mostly elderly. A nice bar area and dog friendly."

"I recently discovered this amazing restaurant that offers a wide variety of vegan options for starters, mains, and sides. I tried the vegan muhamara as a starter, which consisted of red pepper paste with bread, and the vegan goulash as a main dish, which included fries, a big salad, and vegetable goulash in an oven dish covered with vegan pastry. Additionally, I sampled the delicious vegan Lebanese potatoes, mujedara, fatoush salad, and manakeesh bread with pistachio and other nuts. Everything was incredibly tasty and the portions were quite generous. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious vegan cuisine."

"We decided to have lunch at this restaurant after seeing the menu online. However, when we asked for the lunch menu, we were told it was no longer available and offered a more expensive option instead. As we were about to leave, they decided to honor the lunch menu and gave us the menus. Despite the nice food, the meal felt awkward. The lunch menu is still advertised online and outside the restaurant."

"I asked the Sun Inn to provide a buffet and it was the best buffet I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying in the UK. Before I booked my event, I ate lunch here and it was delicious (peppercorn chicken). I have since been back fro my 3rd time and enjoyed a gourmet burger and a few beers while speaking to locals on the outside terrace. This is a fantastic gastropub. Well worth the visit. Lance and his staff make everyone feel very welcome."
