"best pizza in london! fantastic pizza in a beautiful rustic restaurant, including sitting outdoors. there is a large selection of pizzas, pasta and main dishes, as well as appetizers and snacks. the teig was thin and crispy, not soggy at all, and the beats were delicious, thin cut, just like a good pizza should be. served with a beautiful free starter of brot and oliven. service was friendly and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable. "Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Brunel University. Very convenient 20 minute walk and even shorter bus ride) to West Drayton train station for jaunts into Central London. Same bus option in opposite direction to get to Brunel 30 minute walk). Tesco and Aldi located close by should the in room yogurt and bread croissant not cut it good thing for the fridge in the room). Stayed in Grand Canal view room #2 which had 1 queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Unfortunately there was no hot water in the sink, but lots in the shower. I mentioned this to the staff via email and in person no response via email and a stunned sorry can 't help you response from the in person complaint. The room could also do with more options for hanging clothes as there are only 2 fixed hangers in the room. The adjacent room #1) was not occupied the 1st 2 nights so it was very quiet, but the 3rd night next morning really) is when we noticed the extremely thin walls where normal conversation levels could be heard. We managed to enjoy a meal in the onsite restaurant and it was very good generous house salad and very good fish and chips)."

"Eight of us went on 9th October evening to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately the waitress was full of cold, sneezing and spluttering over the food and the people and she had lost her voice (not her fault I know, but it was not pleasant when her nose was running when she was taking our order. She had to shout to be heard and all you could hear was her failing voice all evening. Secondly, they had run out of food, some of the starters, mains and puddings had sold out. Surely you know the amount of covers you have to cater for and this should not have happened on the second day of opening. The cost of the food was high for the size portions. Lastly, three of our party of eight had food poisoning. Two had the duck and one had the scallops, which was different from the rest of us. Usually I wouldn't write a bad review, but this was such a disappointing experience. The only nice thing was the chairs, very pretty."

"If this were a school report, I would give it a B-. Here’s why: The food was good, the drinks—a wine and a beer—were of high quality, and the service was prompt and friendly. However, the garden area was littered with garbage and full ashtrays from the previous night, which was disappointing. Additionally, the online booking system proposed an 11:45 time slot, but the pub doesn’t even open until noon!"

"As a Roman, I am well-acquainted with the cuisine of my hometown, and I can confidently say that the dishes at CI TUA are exceptional, truly representing Roman cuisine. I sampled the suppli (rice ball with cheese), the carbonara, and the cacio e pepe, and each was outstanding. Moreover, the staff was incredibly friendly and courteous. I will definitely be returning to explore more of the menu. Highly recommended!"

"The lamb Inn is a cosy quaint country pub in a lovely location Inside is warm and inviting atmosphere with lovely country style features The staff are lovely, friendly, profffessional and helpful. A lovely sized pub with a good selection of drinks and a moderate ,varying selection of products on the menu . The food is lovely , generous portion sizes and a reasonable acceptable price for the location and selection they offer. I'd recommend visiting for all the family and for special occasions too. "A friend and I visited the Hillside for dinner and some drinks on Friday evening. Food was fabulous and they were so accommodating for my friend who is celiac, servers were quick to get us an altered menu explaining what she was able to order. The service was fast and servers were lovely and friendly helping and giving us recommendations. My friend can be quite difficult to take out but they were able to answer any question she threw at them. After our meal we moved to the bar to finish with some drinks and the bar staff were just as friendly as the restaurant staff even with a full bar of customers. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and the live music just topped off a fabulous night for us!"

"Since the menu was limited, three of us opted for the chicken burgers which turned out to be disappointing - the chicken was tough and unpleasant. Despite waiting almost an hour for our food, it seemed like it had been precooked and reheated. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the food twice, but the waitress only apologized. We did not pay for my sister's meal due to the mix-up, even though it was the cheapest option at around £6. There was also no noticeable difference in quantity compared to the regular chicken burger meals priced at £14 each. When the waitress cleared our plates, she could see that we had hardly touched our food. To top it off, the beer was warm and we were unable to drink it. We left feeling disappointed and only received an apology for not enjoying our meal. Although we had previously enjoyed dining at this restaurant about a year ago, we will not be returning in the future."

"Omg!!! Wanted to visit here for a while now......firstly the staff... nothing is too much trouble. It was my partners birthday, and I asked for a few extras, and it was sorted... the service is of very high standard, friendly, professional, and helpful. The restaurant is reeeeally nice!! It looks and feels like a steak house. The food... if you want the best steak in Cornwall.... you have to come here! Some say it's top pricey, but the cost is reflected in the quality of this place. Really tasty, good-sized steaks, chips. It's honestly one of the best steaks I've ever had!!! Lots of nearby parking, only a mins walk. "Went here for lunch and ordered the Fish Goujon Brioche sandwich which cost £9.50 for effectively maybe 2 to 3 fish finger size pieces inside of a brioche bun and with some tartare sauce as well. This came with only a rocket salad with no (noticeable) dressing and that was all it came with by default, for nearly £10 was a similar size and tasted pretty similar to a filet of fish from McDonald 's, although I guess the fish is higher quality from here. To get chips was an extra £3.50, and it tasted okay overall. The actual place is inviting, clean and has friendly staff, but I feel the price is too steep, the main lunch menu averaged around £18 £19 per main dish which I 'd say is quite pricey, even for Kenilworth."

"The fish pie and steak pie was delicious. The girl taking our drink orders was absolutely terrible. I asked for a Tanqueray and slimline tonic and she looked at me as if I had two heads! I eventually just asked her for a Bombay and slimline but she brought a regular tonic. My husband ordered a pint of diet Pepsi and she brought a small bottle of regular Pepsi! There was a young man who came over a few times to check on us and brought our food...he was much better as he brought us refills of correct drinks ordered."

"Oh my goodness, the food at this restaurant was exceptional! We started with the prawn noodle dish to share as a starter, followed by half a lobster and chips each for our main course. For dessert, we enjoyed some delicious doughnuts. We also tried a couple of cocktails which were fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful and even helped us find a taxi when we couldn't get through to any numbers. Despite its unassuming exterior, I would highly recommend booking in advance as the restaurant was quite busy on a Tuesday evening when we arrived at 5pm. The quality of the food and service was on par with Michelin-starred restaurants. I would even travel from London just to have dinner here. I can't praise this place enough - we only have a few more days here, but we will definitely be coming back before we leave. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5."

"I stayed here for a business event. My room and the hotel was amazing. Very large, love the coffee/tea making facilities, the bathroom was breathtaking. Slept well. Staff were friendly. The bar area had lots of breakout spaces with very comfy chairs. Would definitely recommend coming to stay, didnt have time to experience the spa. Always nice when the photos on the website are actually what you get when you get there. Only reason it wasn't 5 stars was that the throw on the bed had a few stains on it. Rooms: Huge, plush, well decorated, brilliant amenities breathtaking bathroom. Comfy large bed. Lots of space in wardrobe along with iron, safe etc."

"Ancient pub in an historic building at the centre of a quiet village. The Sunday lunch we had was excellent my trad beef, the SO's nut roast and our companion's fish chips were all top notch. Everything on my plate which included a delicious onion marmalade was first class. A small menu of well judged dishes which changes, we were told, monthly. A very good range of beer on tap and you could see, from the number of locals dropping in for a pint, that the pub is well used by the community. Added to my list of nearby pubs to drop along to. Vegetarian options: Very good carrot and nut roast. Excellent fish chips"

"We recently had dinner at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The price per person is around £50-60, but the quality of the food and service definitely justifies it.
