"Since the menu was limited, three of us opted for the chicken burgers which turned out to be disappointing - the chicken was tough and unpleasant. Despite waiting almost an hour for our food, it seemed like it had been precooked and reheated. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the food twice, but the waitress only apologized. We did not pay for my sister's meal due to the mix-up, even though it was the cheapest option at around £6. There was also no noticeable difference in quantity compared to the regular chicken burger meals priced at £14 each. When the waitress cleared our plates, she could see that we had hardly touched our food. To top it off, the beer was warm and we were unable to drink it. We left feeling disappointed and only received an apology for not enjoying our meal. Although we had previously enjoyed dining at this restaurant about a year ago, we will not be returning in the future."

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a peaceful meal and drinks. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and polite. The average price per person is between £10 and £20. The quality of the food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect 5-star rating. Highly recommended dishes include the Gammon and Egg, as well as the Pineapple. There is ample parking available, with free parking options in a nearby parking lot.

the three of us had the sunday roast, it was all very good. if there were any improvement areas, I would say that the bark meat was last time cooked over I came it nice and tender and cooked medium rare and the potato side order tasted like smash not real kartoffel. everything else was really good, especially the yorky and kauli cheese, very tasty! nice pub and beautiful environment. it was very quiet in the restaurant today, however could try that again. thanks. cheryl View menu

we went to Sunday dinner. eating was really nice and the portions were really good. unfortunately the service was very bad. we waited long to be served. we had to ask for salt, pepper and sauces. we ordered drinks before the meal arrived at the table and we had to hunt them. they finally came after we all had finished eating. the waitress was very pleasant and enthusiastic, but it lacked support/guide from the administration. it just felt like she was thrown in at the deep end.

We went to the pub on Sunday to celebrate my husband's birthday. The interior of the pub was cozy and inviting. However, when my husband tried to set up a tab at the bar, he was rudely told that they did not offer that option. Additionally, they did not have any cask ales available and the attitude of the staff was poor. Our meals were served by a disinterested young waiter, and my husband's main course was forgotten entirely. When it finally arrived, the food was cold and of poor quality. He sent it back and we were only charged for our starters, dessert, and drinks. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and none of the staff or management seemed to care about their customers. We were very disap...

"Visited this place for the first time last night and have to say the service was really really poor from the second we walked through the door. Our table was booked for 7.45pm we didn’t get seated till 8.20pm and when the young girl seated us there was no apologies for waiting and she came across very blunt..the soup starter was lovely but the bread was a let down it was like cake and the bread with that brown sauce on ruins the bread it tasted pretty nasty,my friend liked the bread but said that the sauce ruined it. The bread to me just wasn’t very nice I make home made bread myself and this was pretty poor it tasted nothing like homemade bread. For the main I had a medium rare steak the steak was very raw inside you may aswell have just gave me a cow mooing and only the sides had been touched it was cold in the middle!! and warm on the outside (I ate it as I was so hungry I had been working all day and came straight home dressed and out again) but it had not been cooked properly to how I like it, I felt funny after eating the steak. The service was really poor one lad said to us “have you finished with that” nearly everybody spoke so lazy there was no professionalism. There was only one person who stood out as I overheard him serve another table and he was very welcoming and professional he was wearing all black and was also working on the bar he had dark blond ish hair and spoke gentle,I hope your paying him well because his manners etc is impeccable and he was very polite to us when he served us upstairs at the bar."
