"had a great time here for a Tuesday night. really nice, different menu for nutritional needs given. manager was friendly and responsive, noticed that we felt a bit cramped on a smaller table so that we moved to a bigger one. our waiter joe was great, he would always ask if we needed something, confirmed nutritional needs when giving that, felt very personally every time he would come to the table. another waiter keiran from another section would check if we needed something, just when we walk past, felt really looking! definitely a great night and experience, so a friendly atmosphere the staff are great."

"the first time I dimmed here, and I enjoyed it very much. I took my mother to lunch when we often did, but never thought to go in. we had a warm reception at the one and inwss impressed by the decor and cleanliness, much more 'chic' than their normal pub. it was a busy lunch, we were not in a hurry, so the time between starter and main was perfect. our appetizers were beautiful, grilled cocktail and pate and caramelized onion chutney. I recommend the tempoura fish and chips, tasty, non-greasy or so. beautiful chips, draughts and tartar sauce. my mother had steak and chips that they also enjoyed. our waitress was very warm and friendly. some updates pictures of a lunch in December 2021 a beautiful place, with perfect service and delicious food. the service is not included, and the machine did not allow to add, so if you want to type, they must have cash on them."

"Girls night out we aren 't very familiar with Covent Garden so what we thought would be a mad one ended up just being a nice catch up. Dirty Martini happy hour was our first stop, beautiful cocktails but was too small in there. Making our way home we wondered where would be open late to get food, on our discovery towards the station was Maxwells. Result!!!! We ate, we chat, we saw a rat. That 's right a RAT!!!!!! "Visited here for afternoon tea with my work. The service was terrible, you had to chase the staff for service because after they gave us the meal they were no where to be seen and when we did get hold of them they took a ridiculous amount of time to get back to you that tea was cold. The food was not pleasant. Burnt scones, stale bread, cheesecake that can only be described as mush. When we complained the manager said we would need to complain to head office but never gave us correct info, he said he would deal with in straight away but it took days for someone to get back to us. Their reply was our staff would've been free to help if we asked even though it was stated staff were not available or if they were the time scale was ridiculous. Other people in the party also sent a email complain and never received a reply and the table behind us also complained on the day. We were apprehensive about going back here after the Christmas party wasn't very good either but thought we would give it the benefit of doubt. That was a mistake on my behalf. Wouldn't recommend!"

"At 16:45 on a Saturday afternoon, I had telephoned ahead a few minutes earlier to check they had a table available. The friendly lady had advised we would need to vacate in two hours, which was more than enough time for our pre cinema dinner with our show starting in an hour.We were warmly greeted and shown to our table and left to read over the menu. Drinks orders were taken a few minutes later by which time we’d also decided on our food choices. We both ordered Oreo shakes and burgers, one with French fries and the other with triple cooked chips, and both done medium/well. The Oreo shakes were presented in lovely tall sundae glasses with wide paper straws.Not my usual drink of choice with a burger but a welcome indulgence and yummy distraction whilst we waited a bit longer than expected for our food.The burgers came well done and were divine, being tender, succulent, wonderful quality meat and superbly tasty. They were clearly home made and freshly prepared with care and more than worth the wait. We were asked if we’d like sauces and my daughter chose mayo and was presented with a small dipping dish for her fries and a squeezy pot for her burger I thought this shows care and thoughtful attention to detail. Portions are very generous and we were both satiated.The bill was presented without an assumed service charge, and left for me to determine the tip, which I always appreciate."

"We were a group of 12 and this was one of the few places that could accommodate us and reserved our table as well. Staff were very polite, professional, well mannered and not pushy in trying to get us to order more than we needed. Food was made quickly, presented well, was hot and tasted delicious too. The lighting is a bit dim, but sufficient for the atmosphere I believe. Staff were also considerate and ensured all sauces, plates, cutlery etc were on the table before the food and they got a few extra plates for us as we had said that we would be sharing some of the dishes. Overall really impressed. Also, the toilet was clean and well maintained. I really loved the table as it looked like it was made from the truck of a tree! Keep up the good work."

"The only disappointment was where we were seated: people were standing behind us and kept knocking into our chairs because they were very drunk. Perhaps they should seat people who are eating separately from those who are drinking. I had to speak to them to ask them to stop knocking into our chairs. The waitress was amazing, although I didn't catch her name. She kept asking if we wanted our drinks refilled so we didn't have to go to the bar. The food was absolutely outstanding."

"My sister recommended this restaurant to me and I have to say, the pizzas are delicious. The nachos are also very tasty. However, the chips and cheese were not great. The biggest issue with this place is the delivery service. It seems like they only have one driver, and they definitely need to hire another one. Both times we ordered, it took 2 hours for the food to be delivered! Last night, I called twice and was told the first time that they had suddenly gotten busy. Maybe they only have one chef? So if customers walk in, they don't have enough chefs to handle telephone orders as well? The second time I called, the girl said she was putting in cakes for us as a gesture. When it arrived, there was only one piece of cake, even though there were clearly multiple people eating. It's a shame because the pizzas are amazing and I've heard the kebabs are too. If I order again, I will definitely be picking it up myself. Just some constructive criticism here - I don't like leaving negative feedback, but if you improve your delivery service, I'm sure you will receive 5 stars in the future."

"If you want to waste your money feel free to order from here. 2 and a half hours for my food to arrive and they say they are having issues with there machine when ordering online. Rang a couple of times for them to tell me my food was on its way and when I rang AGAIN the last call they said we are prepping your order! Food over cooked, chips as soggy as a wet sock in a washing machine! Don’t waste your money time or effort ordering from here! Shambles"
