"Why anticipation? Because we start a visit again in 2018. As in 2016 (here are the following pictures and 2017. There will soon be a detailed report. The 2016 ambience. We started an attempt and were allowed to call our last two free places. The place itself was immersed in an orange light, bad for the photos, good for the mood. We chose the menu without knowing the map. Various breads and two fresh creams from the kitchen to bridge the waiting period. With a perfect timing from the service that brought the evening to the table via the dishes in an ideal cycle. Greeting from the kitchen. Fishfrikadellen, self-made potato salad No comparison to the frikadella of a chain, perfect taste, great consistency and an excellent potato salad. The many work and attention to detail was to taste Beiden; the tomatoes fennel cream soup. I would have liked to come in the bucket. Super tuned, with main aromas were clear to taste and the creamy proportion did not glue the palate, as it is sometimes well-meaged but badly made. Pink roasted calf juices with sauce béarnaise, green asparagus and Linzgauer potatoes Guxtu, sagichnix. Delicious. Two kinds of wild, delicate rehragout and medallion from wild boar back with winter vegetables and late zle. Unfortunately, the interior lighting has again made a line through the recording quality. Blitz was unfortunately impossible in this ambience. Be it, the food was wonderful. So good that the edible got red bakes. Cream caramel with blood orange sauce. Not the degree."

"On the first right day at the destination we wanted to take a look at the place and visit the announced medieval spectacle at the port. The path led us under the busy B 31 and then through the border areas of Immenstaad to the shore path. Already when approaching the port area, we noticed the “ship” that propagated its special offers on numerous exhibitors. Then we spent some time in the port area, watching the Gauklern and then the ships on the lake. After that, the coffee thirst reigned, and a little of it should be. We took our steps back to the “Schiff”, past the house to the bank garden. Then we could get a table that was just released in the first row of water and took place there. Shortly afterwards an operation came to the table and gave us the cards, but we had already decided for one of the offers: "Warmer apple strudel with vanilla ice cream, cream and coffee/caffee/Latte Macchiato" for 6,80 €, with Madame as a drink a latte Macchiato, I decided for the Cappucino. The young woman trembled our desires in her digital helpers, thanked herself and disappeared towards the house. Later a young waiter came and brought the coffee specialties, and of course he had to ask for the task. The sweetener requested during the order was present on the saucers, along with the usual packaged piece of cookies. Another waiter came back a few minutes and brought the two plates with apple strudel, cream and vanilla ice cream. The piece of apple strudel was not only small, it was good warm and very tasty. Better than we saw from other cafés. The vanilla ice cream was normal standard from the large pack, but the overall package was good for us. We enjoyed the sunshine right by the lake. Overall a nice start for our holiday."

"We visited this place last year enjoyed excellent Pizzas, with prompt service, at a time when the resort was extremely busy our Hotel had messed up on dinner reservations. This year a very different story. Initially we were plagued by tables of chain...smokers who seemed to use tobacco products to settle their stomachs between courses. It's about time Germany adopted a smoking ban where food is being consumed Then our Pizza Bread starter failed to materialise they tried to serve mains first. Once corrected, we found we had made a big mistake. The PB was OK, but for mains we ordered Spag Bol Lasagne. Both were terrible. The SBRagu sauce seemed like a cheap jar brew, heavily laced with tomato puree little else. The Lasagne was salty, without cheese sauce, but intead a filling of chopped york ham covered with some local grated cheese that was completely inappropriate. Even allowing for the arguement that these meals might suit local tastes, which we doubt, neither were of restaurant quality, Then to add insult, when the still full plates were asked to be cleared we complained, we were made to feel it was our fault that their food was poor. The waiters made a ridiculous scene the whole experience was quite frankly shameful then. to cap it all, full payment was demanded. There was no sign of any management involvement or apology. Anyway, a lesson learned; we shall never return. We advise others who insist they want an Italian meal to stick strictly to the Pizza Menu. Better still, go elsewhere"

"Sunday lunch is pretty usual in England but for some reason not so in Germany, so we were surprised to find a restaurant open for Sunday lunch. We had reservations but really didn't need them as, despite the lively setting alongside a marina and quite close to a ferry dock, the restaurant wasn't very busy. Service at first was efficient but completely disappeared by the last course.Portions are large so only order a first course if you're really hungry. Salads were generous but not very tasty despite what should be tasty ingredients. The companion had the steak and cheese spatzle. Despite being cooked medium the steak was tough but the spatzle was under-seasoned. The entree came with a side salad. My dish of lake fish was generous with various fishes from Lake Constance. There were six small fillets, again well cooked but under-seasoned. The dish came with six boiled potatoes and a melange of shredded vegetables that looked like it had been sitting for a long while in a steam tray. Desserts, when we got them, were very good. My macaroon with fresh berries and berry ice cream was excellent tainted by the disappearance of almost every member of the wait staff. We sat for a good 20 minutes before someone patrolled the dining area. Then another 15 before we were able to order coffee and the bill. Can't explain the problem but suspect everyone clocked off at 14,00 despite customers still sitting at tables. If you choose the Seehof for a meal get there early."
