"Panorama 26 is located in Kiel-Schilksee directly on the slope to the Kieler Förde. At the top of the hiking and hiking trails and at the bottom there is a part of the sandy beach, which runs over several kilometers. On the roof of Panorama 26 there is an outdoor terrace where you can stay well in summer or in warm days. Both from the roof and from the sun terrace as well as from the inner guest room you have a really great view of the Kiel outskirts. This is also due to the fact that the building is equipped with very much and large glass panes. We were here a few days ago on a Tuesday afternoon because we wanted coffee drinks here once. Panoramic 26 looks quite small from the outside. We were so surprised when we came to the glass building as empty it was then. There were only two tables occupied and a small cozy table in the corner was free where we took the place. When entering the building, we noticed that this afternoon there were only two varieties of cake (incoming cakes and cheese-filled cakes). However, they were not standing in a cake counter, as it is normal, but standing on a table in front of the counter free in space, although on the side also two cake chests. But these were more a decoration because they were empty. At this table with the uncovered cake every guest had to go when he came to the guest room. Not exactly very hygienic, I thought if the bacteria of the cough and the taste of the guests settle on the cake. So we decided to eat something without drinking coffee. The selection of large and small dishes on the map are good and also affordable, although it is actually a resort. From the big and small breakfast there are also snacks such as roast sausage with bread, frits, waffles in various variations, various fish dishes such as fillet with roast potatoes or hot rings. On different Sundays you can even brew here. Under the category: All potatoes are also peasant breakfast and even kiln potatoes, with sour cream, with salmon or with turkey breast strips. We ordered a peasant breakfast and oven potato with sour cream and turkey breast strips. There was also an aster water to drink. The drinks were served very quickly. Unfortunately, the operation was not very talkative. While we were waiting for our food, we realized that the tablecloth was not very clean. Everywhere were crumbs and at the window side of the table was even a clearly visible spot. This usually doesn't work as I think. On the side table stood the laptop of operation and blocked the entire table. We got that when shortly after us an older couple came to drink coffee and forced to take the table on which the laptop stood. We also have the way they sneak around because they were probably occupied by us this afternoon. The operation immediately took her laptop off the table, but I also think that something is not part of the guest room. When the food came, we were curious how it tasted. My oven potato was hot, but good and the sour cream was really plentiful. The turkey breast strips were also well seasoned. The salad dress was only with light oil, tasted but good and rounded off the whole tastefully. The peasant breakfast was quite average. Unfortunately, the onions in the peasant breakfast were quite large. My case would not have been. When we paid, we left the Panorama 26 building very fast. When leaving the building we saw that you can rent beach baskets here in the summer. Finally, it should be said that everything seemed rather above the surface, although it could be called a beach restaurant, quality and above all cleanliness should not be missing. The operation was not right at all, and you really felt that she had no great pleasure in what she did here. I don't know if I come back."

"The restaurant had published vouchers for a discounted lunch table in a local magazine. We had made a small tour of the already well crowded Kiel Christmas market at noon and decided to try the daily dishes there. After a short walk the railway station and then the restaurant reached. During the entrance no one was able to see from the service nearby, from the background of the rather expansive guest room we were kindly greeted by an operator. But since she was obviously busy there and did not make any institutions to come to us, we sought a free table in the almost empty front area and took place. Shortly afterwards another operation came to our table, handed us the menus and lit the candle standing on the table. Then she disappeared and gave us time to study the menu. After a reasonable time she came back to pick up the order, initially answered a question about the menu competently and friendly and then accepted our order. The drinks ordered were taken by a colleague after a very short time. While other service personnel were involved in the background, the two young operators supplied the entire area near the entrance. They were friendly, accommodating and fleeing. Food The house specializes in steaks and Brazilian churrascos, as well as various buffets. On the homepage you can find both the general menu and the current map with the daily dishes: [here link] and [here link] /philosophy In the weekly exchange, five dishes are offered at reasonable prices between 7.00 and 8.00 €, which are based on the program of the house, but are not necessarily found on the regular card. In addition, there is a list of permanent lunches from 11:30 to 16:30 on Monday to Friday, as well as during the whole week at the same times the lunch bargain. Madame chose, after a ripe reflection “Putenmedaillons Carbonara, Putenmedaillons in herbal parmesan panade, from the pan, with spaghetti in mushroom cream and grated parmesan cheese” (regular 7,20 €, with a small Cola light (2,20 €). The drinks were served quickly, then it took a while until the service brought our plates. They looked very good and were filled enough. As Madame reported, the medallions were tender and tasty, the noodles were boiled to the point al dente. But this time there was nothing left for me, the portions weren't that big. The beef strips on my plate were somewhat firm, but tasted good and harmonized with the pepper sauce. The rice was not too granular, but also not soy, and could take the sauce well. After I emptied the plate, my feeling of hunger has not been completely breastfeeded. However, as a dessert was also part of the lunch meal with the voucher (and that at the special price of 4.50 €, I was also well fed. Ambience local in Hacienda style with arches that structure the very large guest room well, and rustic furniture on large-format square tiles. Lamps hang on iron chains over the tables that are covered with placemats without tablecloths. Wood beams on ceiling and walls underline the rustic atmosphere of the restaurant, which offers easily over 100 guests space. Cleanness rusticity does not mean that cleanliness would be neglected here. The guest room was clean and there was no reason to complain about dishes, glasses and cutlery. The toilets that have been visited in the meantime proved to be absolutely modern in terms of design and the technology of the installations and were clean pikobello."

"Vor der Pandemie eröffnete in Kiel ein Restaurant, das indische Küche vom Feinsten anbot. Als Kenner der indischen Küche(n probierte ich seinerzeit quasi im Vorbeigehen ein Dosa, das großartig zubereitet war und geschmacklich überzeugte. Grund genug also, um ins Haveli mal für ein komplettes Abendessen einzukehren. Gesagt, getan und so haben wir am 18. Mai 2024 einen Tisch für zwei Personen bestellt. Da es uns im Außenbereich zu kalt war, nahmen wir im Innern Platz. Zunächst bestellten wir zwei alkoholfreie Cocktails und die waren großartig. Keine Diskussion. Die Vorspeise (Thanda Matlap Pani Puri war sensationell. Die in der Speisekarte versprochene Geschmacksexplosion fand statt. Selten wurden wir von einer Vorspeise derart positiv überrascht. Leider konnten die Hauptgänge das Niveau nicht durchgehend halten. Der Kabeljau (De cod e und mit Kohlenfisch übersetzt war perfekt zubereitet und wusste auch geschmacklich zu überzeugen, auch und gerade durch das Zusammenspiel mit dem Kaviar. Warum man dazu allerdings industriell gefertigte Schupfnudeln servierte, wird wohl das Geheimnis des Küchenchefs bleiben. Zum Fisch wurde eine warme Currysauce serviert, selbige war leider leicht säuerlich und passte daher weder zum Fisch noch zu den Schupfnudeln. In der Speisekarte war übrigens von hausgemachten Süßkartoffelgnocchi die Rede Das zweite Hauptgericht Ratto Manns sollte lt. Speisekarte Lamm in einer feurigen Sauce sein. Nun, zumindest der zweite Teil des kulinarischen Versprechens wurde eingehalten, die Sauce war wirklich perfekt gewürzt. Das Lamm allerdings schmeckte verdächtig nach Rind und war zudem keineswegs tüchtig geschmort. Eine weitere Stunde im Schmortopf hätte dem Fleisch jedenfalls gut getan. Auch hier gab es eine ungewöhnliche und nach meinem Empfinden unpassende Beilage aus Kartoffelstampf (meinem Geschmack nach ebenfalls Industrieware/Convenience Food . Das Wurzelgemüse entpuppte sich als drei kleine Würfel Süßkartoffel(? . Die bestellten Naan Brote wussten geschmacklich zu überzeugen waren aber mit jeweils um die € 4,50/Stck. heillos überteuert Gemessen am Preisniveau des Haveli kann man wohl echte handwerkliche Qualität bzw. perfekt zubereitete Speisen erwarten. Positiv erwähnen möchte ich noch die nette Bedienung, die allerdings in die Unsitte verfiel, jeden Gast zu Duzen. Das mag in einem Studentenlokal passend sein, in einem Restaurant von der Preisklasse des Haveli sicherlich nicht. Ich bin schließlich Gast und nicht ein Bekannter oder gar Freund."

As usual for two years now, they had taken part in Hotel Birke Quartier, logically we met at the hotel bar in the evening, and then later we went to the restaurant. Operation The younger staff in the service was in high shape this evening, I didn't notice a mistake. Even the beverage delivery worked very quickly, unlike the previous visit. We were only in a small round with four people, one of whom left the appetizer. We ordered twice the fish soup, which I had in very good memory, and once the “seal variation with nuts and grated parmesan” in the small version (6.80 € ), the customer was warned by the service employee that it was not only a small supplemental salad. As main dishes were ordered: once the daily offer: “Steaks from the deer lobe, pink fried, with bacon carrot and herbal potato marshal”, the orderer exchanged the supplements: instead of rose cabbage, he ordered red cabbage and roast potatoes instead of the stabbed potatoes. Two other participants ordered fish: “Brazed cod with colorful fried cabbage and roast potatoes” (19,90 € and “Steinbeißerfilet vom Grill with saffron sauce on crispy black roots and white wine risotto” (22,80 €). All main dishes with the exception of the daily offer came from the weekly ticket Shortly after the order, an operation brought every guest a small portion of a fiery beef salad as a greeting from the kitchen. After the dessert and the associated dishes were cleared, it only took a moment until the soups and the salad were served. As already announced by the service, the salad proved to be significantly too large for an appetizer, but was called very good and tasty. At any rate, the fish soup was very good, strong and with delicate anise, as I remembered it and as it was described by the foreman. Then a little later the main dishes: The daily offer came with three slices from the deer lobe, fried on the outside, inside (dark pink and butterfly. The fish fillets on the other plates not only looked good, they were very praised by the two participants. And last but not least my plate with the parts of the goose: At first glance, the pieces of meat looked very dark and made the guess that they could be very dry. But far missed, all the pieces of meat were delicate and juicy, strong in taste, and harmonized excellently to the cauliflower and the slices of napkin noodles. Even though we were actually well saturated by the portions, after some time the desire for a dessert was raining. The “Great Vanilla Cream Brûlée” was ordered twice with orange salad and vanilla ice cream (7,80 €), once “Crêpe filled with cherry compote, with Vanilleparfait” (7,50 € and once the “Dessertvariation Fischers Fritz – Of all the best” (8,50 € . The desserts were brought after a short time, the cream glasses were decorated in a relatively large bowl with orange fillets and vanilla ice cream as well as the crêpe with cherry compote corresponded to the standard, but were quite delicious. As with the appetizer, the colleague also weakened in dessert variation, and only two of the about six small portions could do the honor, and there was already a clear response from the neighboring colleagues.
