"with great expectations we wanted to celebrate our high-time day last Wednesday. we had heard of known from the restaurant. as we cook Indian ourselves, we were of course very excited and were very happy for the evening. already the ambiente reminded only remotely of india. the appetizers were tasty, but no such great performance was. my main course lamb corma was well prepared from the meat, but the sauce was more a cocoscream without a spicy and without a spicy note. that my wife also eats. the only good were the fish sticks with pommes of our daughter. for us that was. but there are others"

"Normally I would not order pasta at a French or German restaurant . But my favorite Italian restaurant in Konstanz was closed and I was in the mood for Italian food-- spaghetti in particular, which I think of as "comfort food." . One way I judge how good the Italian food is at a restaurant is to order spaghetti al carbone. If the pancetta is all fat and gristle that's a no no; and if the sauce is really heavy and cloying, that's another no no; with overcooked pasta the worst sin of all.This was a quite good example of the dish--not the very best I have ever had, but better than the last two versions I have eaten in Germany and Switzerland. What gives the restaurant the fourth star is the ambience --an outdoor setting with umbrellas over the tables, in a charming (former Fish Market) square. I was there near dusk and a surprisingly good folk/pop group just in the center of the square, whose young woman lead singer was singing in a language I couldn't recognize, added to the atmosphere -- aided by the fact that the instruments were not overamplified. I would definitely come here again."

"Don Alfredo enjoys a good reputation in Konstanz... Why don't we really understand after a visit? The ambience is simple and rather dark. They sit very close in the guest room. The employees look like driven by small guests. The food was okay, but it wasn't. We had pizza and pasta. Both were not excellent in our eyes and according to the rating. The Knaller came to pay... For a Thursday evening quite well visited.We have reserved and get a nice table.The map is quite large typical Indian dishes. "I've eaten three times here and I'm disappointed every time. Yesterday, for my friend there was the monthly court thai curry and for me a burger. the curry was cooked and tasted fad. the kalktütereis had no limette notes in the taste and the rice tastes like a baggage. also it looked like dressed in a bad kantine, only working on the teller. the burger is quite small, the bungalow does not go, he looks and tastes like a cheap bungalow in an Italian hostel. in Burger-Asia style I missed the asia. gurke, tomate and salat is not exactly asia style for me. it was a peanut sauce, but that's not asia for me. the normal pommes were good, with the sweet potato pomers here are muddy. even in the previous paintings it was not good to eat. unfortunately I must say it was the 2nd worst burger and the worst curry I had ever eaten"

"on a Saturday evening, without reservation, come to the local. a very nice ambiente - bright, but not grell, beautiful wooden and comfortable sessel. the service was friendly and inconspicuous.The food tasted all in all good, especially the sweet mango chocolate soup (aam sorba), which I recommend. I ordered a limonene rice as the main course (tofu madras) but was not made aware of the fact that in the feeds a portion would be there anyway (in the menu there was nothing to do with it). two portions of rice were brought to me. I also had the nan speciality of the house (mayura nan with chilis), but I was disappointed - it just didn't taste freshly prepared and also not special. all in all a nice local, with good eating."

"from the Ibis hotel just over the bicycle bridge to the city part paradies - and away from the old city walk a really nice Greek restaurant found! my single table was beautifully placed - no cat table, the service lovable, the facility was not Greek than in Greece itself, where it is usually simple.Very nice was the reaction on my desire to let the kartoffels please leave: the cook himself asked for urgently desired and so I got something more from the freshly sweet. (for this also no 1.50 euro will be raised as in the chic il boccone in konstanz bodanstraße) the lammkoteletts were juicy and perfectly cooked. in the nice, informal atmosphere I came to the talk with my table neighbour, so I can say: a completely successful restaurant visit."

"One of my favorite places in Konstanz, which I regularly visit on Lake Constance, last August 2013 with friends and family. As a vegetarian, this place is the perfect Eldorado for me: every day there is a changing selection of high-quality fresh soups, as well as a large, crisp, varied, creative salad buffet (e.g. paprika salad with cheese, pinned radishes, celery salad, picnic rocket, taste-intensive tomato salad, etc. A freshly baked bread and table water is free for any meal. There are also changing desserts on offer. Most in high quality organic quality and excellent taste. Unfortunately only self-service, although the dishes are removed from the service. Mostly very full, narrow guest rooms with different seating areas and counters. The clientele is multiculti of all ages, often with children. The summer can be eaten well. Unfortunately no opening hours in the evening. Very friendly, courteous, nice service staff."

"The cafe is one of many dotted around and just off the main square (Marktstatte). There's limited outside seating and if it looks busy inside then head on upstairs to the first floor where there's a larger seating area (there are toilet facilities on the landing of stairs leading up). Both floors mirror each other with counter/serving area and staff so you don't need to go back down to order if upstairs. It's table service and our waitress looked hassled when we visited (she takes the order and brings it as well as collecting the bill) and was quick to point out she doesn't understand if you speak a "foreign tongue" - fortunately I can speak basic German. I decided on soup but was firmly told that of the four listed only one (tomato) was available which was a bit disappointing. Prices are reasonable but then again this is not Switzerland (which is literally only a few streets away and the reason this part of town is so crowded with Swiss registered cars!)."

"The food is excellent, I had a tandoori chicken on my last visit. Though I ordered it spicy, it was verx mild, so I guess it is spicy in "German" terms, not Indian. The waiters were polite and attentive at first, in the second half of our visit they were busy in the kitchen (to be fair, it was a very quiet evening). We did not have the opportunity to order a dessert.The restaurant is situated in the city center, a very convenient walk from the lake. As it is in an old frame house, the combination of the Indian decoration in a traditional German room is a bit odd. But if you like dark wood, you willprobably find the combination interesting."

"we are liked by heart masters in the vogelhaus. the qualtity and selection of the offered foods and drinks is really the hammer. the bird is totally warm. also the offer in the smallest department store of Konstanz is great, we have managed to get 99% of all gifts to christmas there and have them packed in style. the social agreement and the ethical principles that will be preserved there will find our full support."

Depending on their choice, they may have to wait some time as it takes some time to prepare the feeds freshly. therefore best book and share their order if they no longer want to wait. the waiters smile and are helpful. atmosphere is friendly. toilets are clean. the location is not far from the center. they don't have a parking space, it's better to walk there."

"Wir sind extra am frühen Nachmittag zum Tonic gegangen um für den Abend zu reservieren, weil wir uns auf ein leckeres Mal gefreut haben. Der Kellner sagte uns, man könne keinen Tisch draussen reservieren, nur im Restaurant innen und wir sollten einfach abends wieder kommen, es sei kein Problem. Als wir Abends wieder erschienen hiess es, wir hätten reservieren sollen und alle Tische seien jetzt besetzt, es tue ihnen leid, aber es gäbe keinen Platz für uns. Sorry aber das geht gar nicht, Kunden so zu veräppeln und enttäuschen, da kann das Essen noch so gut sein."

"if they were already in constancy, they should come here. they will not only get qualitatiw high-quality food, but also the personal gives this place a fresh brise. you might want to book a table, the place is quickly booked. loved that design, as the name says, it's a hot kitchen. on a large table in the center of the restaurant hangs a large touch of the deck. the entrance is a part of the kitchen. they see how the salate and the sauces are made. but even better, the grill is also right there and lets you see how your meat is crumbling for a delicious experience. the personal is super friendly and some of them really funny. they are very fast and run like ants through the restaurant. great atmosphere, also the light is dimmed, which makes it more romantic. very good selection for selection. we chose hexenspiess (12,10€) with bratkartoffeln (5,40€) and Filet-Steak plus salat (26,90€) with potato gratin (4,90€). black beer (3,40 €) and rosé wine (3,90 €) salat was with a delicious dressing. the filetsteak is just so delicate and juicy. sides came a little late, but the best bratkartoffels I've ever had.Read more reviews on my blog. com not much to say we had a great time and one of the best meals. well done!"

"good restaurants aren't strange to me, but this one really impressed. great service and even better eating. prices are actually quite decent for a restaurant with 2 stars. eat very well. it is very creatiw, without being excessive, and the taste combinations work well. our whole table enjoyed everything we had. the chef seems to lend himself sometimes from different ess cultures, but it is subtle and just what the court needs. Whenever I see deaf on the menu in a restaurant, I order them and I must say that the deaf at ophelia was the best I ever had. you just have to try it yourself. the prices were very decent when considering the quality of the restaurant. a 4-course menu cost 120 euro. servicesooo good! we had booked a table for 6 people but were 30 minutes too late. no problem! the staff was very friendly and assured us that the table is waiting for us whenever we come. during eating the waiters were always there, but never unpleasant. all our questions were answered both in German and in English and we felt that the waiters were really passionate about the food they served.ATMOSPHEREEOphelia lacks presumption. it is a fantastic restaurant, but they would look in a beautiful summer dress and with flat shoes not miss at the place. they do not have to dress inconveniently to experience the subtle luxury that ophelia has to offer. we also appreciated that it is a place where relatiw well educated children would feel comfortable. we sat outside on the balcony and it was idyllic. not hot, not cold – just perfect. they have a beautiful view of the lake and are surrounded by nature. I would not only recommend this restaurant, but encourage everyone to visit it!"

"The place is small, but the service and food is very good. There are a couple of seats inside in the front window and two stands outside the main entrance for a few to place their food while eating. Since my last visit to Konstanz, they have now added a patio seating area on the side of the building with about eight tables.I had the currywurst with fries combo (6.20€) which comes with a choice of mayo or ketchup. For the price it is a great deal and the staff will even bring your food to the table if you dine on the patio. All that being said, the wurst is very good, but I could not rate it in the same category as an original Berlin currywurst.Good food along with nice, efficient and courteous service!"

"I wanted to visit a restaurant that was praised in the guide michelin during my 1-day visit to Constance. it was like some others on a Tuesday. so I just walked a bit through the old town and by chance came past this restaurant. it seemed very cozy from the outside and the menu pries mainly regional fish dishes. then I decided for the bottom sea quarter of 4 different fish fillets. - good decision - and as an appetizer a red bete carpacchio with skydressing. the service was very friendly and competent, the food was served very quickly and the price more than reasonable. would therefore be coming back at any time."
