"Yesterday we had reserved a table in the mamas at 20 o'clock. 20 min. after that we only got our drinks. around 21 clock (after we waited for our food for 1 hour - there were only 2 pizzas) we got how a waiter (the names I unfortunately don't know, but it was the only dark-skinned, if this contributes to recognition) new arrivals in a pretty scary tonfall said that they would have to wait at least 2 hours for their food and stay out of the room. when we then arrive first after 1 std. and 10 min. after the fading of our eating asked, said that waiter, that we can see how full the terrace is. On further questions in the 10 minutes tact we were always comforted that our eating was the next. when at 21.40 a.m. (after almost 2 hours waiting time) still wasn't our food there, we ordered the bill for our drinks. when we paid the waiter again, that the conditions are unreasonable and we should have been informed that it would take so long. he replied to this only with a shoulder-cracking and said that he could least blame the kitchen.I then kindly pointed out that under such circumstances one had to get at least a drink or the like "to the house". he only smiled at this statement and removed from our table.Everything in all an inconvenient waiting time and an unacceptable customer change. "You wouldn’t initially go out of your way to find this Bistro. I happened upon it as I had moved into the area, and it was close by. I walked in and took a table. The restaurant was quite busy but not hectic. The waitress was charming, attentive and on the ball, a must in today’s service sector, don’t you think?My starter arrived, presented nicely, the asparagus soup was nice if a little salty for my taste and the bread slices were bland. However the soup literally zinged with the addition of what I gather were fresh crispy slices of runner beans… this added crunch brought the whole dish together….all in all, very satisfying. The main course was accompanied by a Dauphinoise…which was perfect, creamy, a tad Al dente, yes, very nice. The super tasty tender Pork Medalions were housed in a potato cheese and onion jacket, which was lightly fried Tempura…… the flavour and texture, superb!I was quite satiated after the main meal but forced myself to have a sweet… ( I am weak-willed. )… OMG served on the obligatory slab of slate, was a Chocolate mousse with cream… not only did it look superb, but it was light as air. A wonderful ending to a meal which seemed to just get better and better. Oh, the best surprise was even with three cold beers the whole meal cost 37.30 e… ( tax included )The Restaurant is called Klarsicht on the Moeserstr 79 Krefeld.
