"Perfekt gegrilltes Steak, zuvorkommender professioneller Service, freundliche Atmosphäre und großartige Weine. Das sind nur ein paar der Superlative, die ich für Patagonia Steakhouse verwenden könnte. Ich bin seit mehreren Jahren Kunde von Patagonia Steakhouse und wurde nicht ein einziges Mal von einem Artikel enttäuscht, den ich bestellt habe. Mein letzter Besuch am 28. Oktober 2023 war da keine Ausnahme. Wir kamen im Restaurant an und wurden wie immer mit einem freundlichen und einladenden Gruß begrüßt. Sobald wir Platz genommen hatten, kam sofort ein höflicher Kellner an unseren Tisch und fragte, ob wir etwas zu trinken hätten, präsentierte uns sogleich die Speisekarte und brachte frisch geschnittenes Brot mit Gewürzen. Nach so vielen Jahren, in denen ich nach Patagonien gereist war, brauchte ich kaum eine Speisekarte, aber mein Gast für den Abend genoss es, die Vielfalt der köstlichen Gerichte zu sehen, die aus der Küche bestellt werden konnten. Wie auch immer, mein Gast folgte meinem Rat und bestellte das Gleiche wie ich. Wir begannen mit einem meiner Lieblingsgerichte, dem Avocado Salat, der mit einer perfekten Balance aus nativem Olivenöl, Zitrone, fein gewürfelten Zwiebeln und Oliven ausgezeichnet ist, mit einem perfekten Geschmack von süß sauer köstlich. Unser Hauptgang war Filet Steak. Ich habe von New York bis Tokio Filet Steak gegessen und heute Abend habe ich, glaube ich, eines der günstigsten, zartesten, perfekt gegrillten medium rare Filetsteaks gegessen, die ich je gegessen habe, und meine Gastin hatte die gleiche Erfahrung mit ihrem Steak. Als Beilagen hat sich mein Gast für eine Ofenkartoffel entschieden und ich hatte Cebollas Asadas oder gebackene Zwiebeln. In Restaurants wird das Öl, das zum Frittieren verwendet wird, oft genug gewechselt und das frittierte Produkt kann einen etwas stumpfen oder ranzigen Geschmack haben. Bei Patagonia habe ich diese Erfahrung noch nie gemacht und die fein geschnittenen Röstzwiebeln waren leicht, aromatisch und nach dem Braten richtig abgegossen. Eine perfekte Kombination mit meinem Filet Steak. Eine Sache, die sich meiner Meinung nach enorm verbessert hat, ist eine bessere und größere Auswahl an Weinen. Ich habe mich für einen sehr schönen Rioja entschieden und er hat mein Essen perfekt begleitet. Als wir das Patagonia Steakhouse verließen, begann unser Gespräch sofort mit: 'Was für ein großartiger Abend mit fantastischem Essen, Wein und Filetsteak, das köstlich war.
