"I have to say, unfortunately, that you can never be sure about what you want to get into this restaurant. I order the 300 grams derecote every time in medium radar. at the first visit I was very enthusiastic about both the restaurant and the value/performance ratio. the steak was tasty and I decided to make the restaurant my new favorite restaurant in münster. during the second visit, this enthusiasm was still in place. the third time I was brave and ordered the bark fillet. this came in two discs that had already wondered me. that this was very overmarinated. that the filet was not as fried as I had ordered it, I accepted because we were hungry and had already waited one. the first disc was also very tasty, but after the second disc was very bad and I had to leave the restaurant. I assume that hardly one hoses the bark fillet, if this is considerably more expensive than the derecote and that it was too long from this ground. since I am not an inhuman, I once again tried, but this time again ordered the entrecote. is safe. this time, my flesh was cartilaged and had cooked too long. we had kids with us. after it was clear that there were no courts for children, they were given hot iron pots with burnt lasagne. for this they got sharp steak knives. I think the healthy human mind tells you that children might get a small teller on which they then get filled. since I had received the restaurant before my bad experiences my colleagues had decided to hold a Christmas party there. again I got a steak which I would call well-done, although I had ordered medium-rare. the remaining members of our Christmas party had different opinions from their eating. I realize, however, that I don't think I'm trying again with the L`Entrecote."

"Situated in the revitalised harbour district of Hafenweg of Munster, Heaven, we were told, was the place to be seen of an evening. The area still has a suitably rundown feel to it with tumble down buildings and plenty of graffiti. Here and there old...warehouses have been reclaimed and now house an array of chic clubs, bars and restaurants. Heaven is on of those, and one of the most sought after in terms of table bookings. On the night, we dined, Friday admittedly, the restaurant was fully booked. Heaven attempts to offer a 'fine dinning' experience in the evening and after transforms into an in vogue club. Given that the restaurant is situated in what was a large warehouse, the interior is necessarily dark and the dank walls are hidden by long drapes and massive folds of material. Tables are hardy well worn wooden benches with a large metre high scary candelabra at the centre of each. Service on the night we visited was very good and attentive with plenty of assistance for translation no English menu always a good sign! when requested. The write up at the introduction of the menu promises a five star eating experience. The menu is pretty broad with a list of several starters – nothing that might not appear on a local Italian restaurant menu though. I choose the beef carpaccio. It was OK – nothing more. For main course I had the Barbary Duck which was tasty, nicely cooked and presented with some vegetable mousses and mashes. I have to admit that the three pieces of duck were a little small perhaps they are trying to counter the traditional German tendency to err on the side of more rather than less on the plate. Wine selection was good – we had a lovely French merlot. The menu had a page of Thai dishes no explanation, so I'm left thinking perhaps this is where the chef's strengths lie? We eschewed desert as it was creeping toward and the background music, rock, was slowly getting louder and the queue for the club was already pushing at the door. We headed back into Munster old town for a more comfortable night cap. Overall, Heaven is a little overhyped in terms of food at any rate. Perhaps the late night entertainment makes it worth the trip out of town"
