"The place had a wonderful view, we had a great central table and the food came quickly. The waitress was really helpful and gave me good suggestions for the dishes. Just for this, we left a good pourboire. However,I wish I followed her suggestion not to take the pork as the main course. The pork was very fatty and the combination with the sauce did not feel right in my stomach. I woke up that night with a very bad nausea and had to throw up. The next day, I felt unwell with severe stomach pain, which obviously was some minor form of food poison. Apart from this, something should be done about the cleanly the toilet and bad smells at the entrance. We will never eat there again!"

"This restaurant is amazing. I had booked my catering service first for a surprise birthday that I was organising. It was excellent so we wanted to test the restaurant. Excellent. It's divine. Last year we tried the truffle menu: perfect. Last night lobster menu: no mistake. The service is also very well, without chichi and perfect at a time. We feel good. I recommend 100%."

"We stayed in La Test-de-Buch and was looking for a nice place to have a celebratory dinner to set our vacation off to a good start and we found this little gem at the end of the pier. We were lucky to have an outdoor...seating overlooking the smal fish harbour across from us. We stayed for a good hours and has the pleasure of experiencing the tide come back a lift the boats up in the dock. It is a fairly small place with limited seats and worked with a set menu. fish and meat mains, a selection of starters and and deserts. Our party opted for mains and desserts since it had been a very warm day. Selection of wines is nice and local, which is obvious given the area. half the party opted for fish and half for the meat. What was really above and beyond was that they made the extra effort, as one in the party is vegetarian, to put up a special dish off the menu for her. The meat was made perfect the way we asked for it; medium rare and had a nice roasted crust off the grill. The sauce and butter with it had a lot of flavour and complemented the dish nicely. Potatoes had a very nice crusty and excellent seasoning. The fish was delicate and enhanced by a very tasty risotto. Desserts option were very traditionally french; creme brûlée, lemon curs, cheese platter and a selection of sorbets. The Creme Brûlée was top notch and portions were above average, which was great given the tastiness. The lemon curd crumble dessert was to die for. All layers, crumble, curd, different types of meringue, was amazing on its own and together it was next level. Ice cream and sorbets were all made in the restaurants and a very nice option for dessert. Sorbets had a lot of fresh labor to it. This place may be a little hard to find/get to outside the immediate restaurant area for the village, but well worth the extra effort. Price wise slightly above average for the area, but for us a great value for money."

"from personal to menu everything was perfect. the daily menu included the pork breast with a delicious honey and fresh scavenging dressing as well as a lot of thin cut radishes. the main dish consisted of perfectly grilled black cable with fried zucchini flowers, PaK-Choi and kartoffeln. the homemade tartaric acid sauce was a great accompaniment. dessert was chocolate mousse. for my part I had a beautiful jerusalian artichoke-velouté with dice ice, water-creide oil and leaves and homemade crumbs. great. the menu is short and some dishes change every day. good selection of weeping and the cheese of the day was perfect Saint-Nectaire with pear-comonote and grenoble nuts. they prefer to make a reservation."

"Summary: Ambience: very quiet and no music, left a fairly awkward environment. Staff service: for the price you pay wasn’t what I would expect. Potentially as we were English we received less attention? Food: 50/50, we received some lovely free salmon starters and the veal main was delicious but the meat was quite tough, not what €35 should be. Friends had the filet mignon and it was far below average, neither cooked to their requirement and also very tough and full of sinew. Overall I wouldn’t return considering the price point."

"The terrace is quiet, spacious and well located. I liked the salad, the fries, and the presentation of the prime rib cleverly high up, leaving room on the table. However, two things: at more than €80 for a rib of beef for two, I would have liked a homemade pepper-type sauce, and a little more fries. No sauce except ketchup at this price... The second point that is surprising is the pizzas: its thickness corresponds much more to a flamenkuch than anything else. Finally, when I order a prime rib, I don 't like to be told that I want it rare , which was the case. If I pay, I want the cooking that I decided on without being judged by a comment. Overall a pleasant restaurant which I think deserves to be improved."

"An unspeakable disaster! A shame !! Being used to it, we arrived as a family, without reservation, last night around 7:45 p.m. There are tables left and the whole interior is empty. We are seated at a table with very high stools. I request a table inside because the stools are dangerous for children. It is refused because it is supposedly made hot. However, we have already been installed there. So it will be table with stools or nothing. We sit down and wait for the map. After 20 minutes we asked for it again. The aperitif drinks arrived, we finished them and waited for a tapas board and fried smelt for more than 30 minutes. Despite several signs, the waiters don't even look at us and don't come despite several signs. 2 reserved tables, arriving after us, are served tapas before us. We manifest ourselves strongly. The waiters tell us that the kitchen had a problem but we don't understand when we specify the two tables served before. No explanation. We let it go. We change tables (always with stools) because many insects fall on us. The tapas arrive and we ask for another appetizer to accompany. Then we finish. And let's wait for the dishes. Let's wait wait. This time 4 tables are served before us. The waiters tell us that our plates take longer (a tartare a garlic squid and 3 children's plates). The children's plates arrive. 40 minutes pass we have neither the wine nor our plates. The total ignorance of the servers. My husband gets up and asks for the manager who is in the kitchen. He asks him to wait another 5 minutes and will have no explanation of the tables served before us. My husband refuses, settles and walks away. I immediately ask the waitress to bring me the wine and bring our plates while my husband smokes. I wait another 10 minutes and ask the waitress for a minute. She goes to see the manager and comes back telling me that the kitchen is closed. It’s 9:45 p.m. and there are still tables still eating. We leave. My kids are crying because they didn't get their ice cream. No gesture, no explanations, no shame, no regrets, false excuses. And we will have to come back and get reimbursed for the bottle of wine charged. Nothing to complain about in terms of quality of the cuisine. What we were used to coming for..."
