"right-western, in the folded part high house, lies the popular place, the caffeine melange. the name is also here program, melange means mixing or mixed. this applies not only to the offer and publicity, but also to the facility, in particular to the theke, the sanitary facilities and the beer garden. could also have been called “Melange Quasimodo” because some of them – wanted or not – appear incomplete. notdestotrotz makes here the mixture that initially appears arbitrary in some areas, but ultimately represents the cozyness factor and the comfortable character. the caffeine is equipped with 13 tables and about 45 seats, the seating area made of solid natural wood, the publikum mixed to environmentally friendly. some visitors also speak in connection with this place about a “seat culture” that is celebrated here with a tee or the like. daily (except Saturday) from 10 o'clock, the melange offers a versatile breakfast offer, but I only used it once. my opinion on the breakfast is: sufficiently varied, price performance “normal”, single components can be ordered easily. (prices from 3 – 7.00 euro) only manko, there is no separate breakfast! “Gast” must be used here on the “plate” with breakfast equipment. recently, the melange got a competitors on the opposite side of the road. Since then, the own production of the homemade cake (by omi fasoula) has been discontinued. the food supply is supplemented by a weekly changing special card table. follow in the usually small but fine dishes that complement the small “good civic menu”. chef chefin works with them, of course. with charming and special use, the guests are lovingly cared for. also the two female helpers were always nice and extremely polite! my review for Café melange: highly recommended!"

"at the last visit in a cosmetic studio in klekusen I saw that the workers have salat. because this, even for me as "carnivorous planted," looked very good, of course I observed where the salad holder went. he didn't have to run far, but went to the target. first I hadn't noticed the name, but then I looked at the internet side of the tonerde and found him again. casa ducale after I was able to convince myself again on their Facebook page of the look of the dits was of course a test visit due. So I was there at the weekend and ordered the salat I saw. the *insalata capricciosa*. in advance there was baguettebrot with a criminal dip that was already successful. it didn't take long to get my salad. interestingly, the service wanted to put the pizza and my guide the salat. seems to be the usual roll distribution!? different localities also have different prepositions of the salate, even with the same name. here was the insalata capricciosa with green salate, tomato, gurken, mais, paprika, ei, thunfisch and sardellen. all with an aromatic yogurt dressing. I usually get olives, I left them. visually it looked very promising. then I could finally try and I must say that this salad could make me a regular salatesser. it was very tasty and will be included in my food program. also a piece of pizza what I could taste was very delicious. there are also nudels and various other things. also a selection of ice. the casa ducale is up, and has earned the 5 stars full. : this is all really clean and the personal friendly and attentive. the bill for 1 insalata capricciosa, 1 pizza hawaii, 1 cola and 1 water (I did not get drunk a cola was 15.90 euro, there is nothing to say. except: *until soon*"

"Dank Gutscheinbuch gingen wir an einem Dienstag Abend im Rodeo essen. Ich bin jahrelang hier vorbeigelaufen, aber auf die Idee dort zu essen, wäre ich nie gekommen. Das war für mich eine Dartkneipe.Schon die Reservierung wurde sehr freundlich entgegengenommen, man hatte für uns einen Zweiertisch direkt neben der Theke vorgesehen. Kurze Wege. Als wir 19.00 kamen, war es voll, leerte sich aber nach und nach. Vorneweg gibt es etwas Brot mit ein paar Oliven, einer Paprikapaste und einem sehr leckeren Zaziki. Wir wählten einmal Schweinelendchen in Pfefferrahmsauce mit Cognac (13,90 €) und einmal Schweinefilet mit Gouda und Sauce Hollandaise überbacken (12,90). Zu beidem gab es einen relativ großen Salat und Kroketten, die wir einmal gegen Pommes tauschten. Portionen riesig, gute Fleischqualität, Saucen sehr schmackhaft, alles auf den Punkt zubereitet. Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, allerdings war es nicht sonderlich voll. Trotzdem, bei den Preisen kann ich das Rodeo nur weiterempfehlen und werde auch sicherlich wieder hier einkehren!"

"Wir waren an einem Freitagabend dort und konnten das wirklich vorzügliche Essen bei warmem Wetter auf der Terrasse genießen. Der Service war ausgezeichnet; freundlich und ging auf die Wünsche der Gäste ein. So war es möglich, kleinere Portionen oder auch ein Extra zu bestellen.Die 3 Brotsorten, als Gruß aus der Küche gereicht, waren total frisch und lecker.Zu empfehlen sind die Gerichte vom heißen Stein, wie z.B. der Grillteller oder die Garnelen. Bei ersterem werden Filetstücke von Rind, Schwein und Geflügel, sowie Garnelen serviert, die man in kurzer Zeit auf dem heißen Stein gart. Dazu gibt es 3 Sorten Dips, einfach köstlich.Ich hatte ein durchschnittliches Restaurant erwartet, da es im Gault Millau oder auchFeinschmecker keine Erwähnung findet und war sehr positiv überrascht und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.Man kann den Besuch des Restaurants wunderbar mit einem Spaziergang durch den wunderschönen Carl Duisberg Park mit Japanischem Garten und/oder mit einem Weinkauf in dem angrenzenden Weinkeller verbinden."

"Wollten Abends noch eine Kleinigkeit essen nach über 7 Stunden grausamer Fahrt SSA (Staus, Schleicher und A-Geigen). Das Hähnchen mit Pommes war sehr gut...Die Wurst...Ging so und die Folienkartoffel mit Sauerrahm war ordentlich....doch für Kölner Verhältnisse super!Der Preis stimmt, die Menge auf jeden Fall und auch die Qualität, wenn man davon ausgeht, dass man um 22 Uhr noch überhaupt etwas ordentliches zu Essen will....Euer Fred."

"The armchairs are very pleasant and the distance between the tables I find quite decent. There you get no trace of the feeling of eating sardines on can evening. This restaurant really has potential to become my new favorite place. We had to wait for the food and our drinks absolutely not long. That was great, because we had a irresponsible hunger in the evening. There you get both and: friendly and well superior."

"After having a great and successful week at the International Dental Show in Cologne we decided to treat ourselves to a good steak. We went to the Casona Steakhouse very tired and hungry on the last day of our stay in Cologne. We did not get any attention or service for an hour straight. The server gave us german menus although we requested english ones. After an hour the server came and got our order. After another twenty minutes we got our drinks and a little bit of bread. Another thirty minutes went by and my brother became unpatient and went to ask the server very politely if the food will be ready soon because at this point we were already straving. The server told my brother that we talk too much and that if we want to eat he should get back to his seat or we should all get out. We got our coats and left. We cannot interpret this behaviour as anything short of disrespectful, degrading, and racist since they heard a foreign speech. We left very offended, hungry and shocked. It was the worst experience for us in a restaurant ever."

"We've eaten at this place a 3-course meal twice. It's international food, not just German. The quality of the ingredients shines throughout the menu. Seasonal selections, cooked just right. "We had ordered a table before going to the theater. When we got there at about o'clock, the place was relatively well attended. Canteen atmosphere and very loud. We were led to a table by a harried employee. Then nothing happened at first, when I spoke directly to one of the employees whether we could order something to eat and whether it would work by the time the performance began, she said in a general manner: it is no longer possible, we have so much to do and only a small kitchen. Even a soup or a salad would not work out on time. That doesn't work at all, we have ordered a table beforehand. A restaurant that is located in a forum has to be equipped for the fact that many people want to eat before a performance. And a small kitchen belongs in a small restaurant and not in a big one like this one. It's a shame, of course we can't say anything about the food"

"We came back to the Stückwerk for a light lunch recently and enjoyed the experience tremendously. On arrival, I was the only guest. The young, friendly lady behind the counter beckoned me to choose anywhere to sit and took my drinks order whilst I waited for my lunch dining partner. The seating here is at large solid wooden tables and bench seats with comfortable cushions. The open plan design gives you a chance to see behind the scenes into the kitchen As I supped my apple juice drink waiting for my friend to arrive, I had ample time to check through the menu and to decide on one of the current house offers – the buffalo pizza for a very reasonable 6,90 Euro. When my friend and colleague joined me she ordered the market fresh salad which came with 8 free, hot, multi corn pizza breads filled with cheese. My pizza arrived with her salad and I was pleased to see that the pizza base was nice and chunky, loaded with mince-meat and sliced Jalapeno pepper on a tasty BBQ sauce. Everything was delicious.To finish the meal we were offered a free dessert which we took to be a creamy panna cotta type dish. With coffee and tea served in rather exotic looking glasses we concluded our short, but memorable stay here. What a pleasant lunchtime experience away from the hectic bustle of work at the office – and all for 25 Euro + tip!"

"This was my first visit to Colonia Brauhaus but judging on our first visit it certainly won't be my last. This is a superb brewpub,it has a great interior,pine tables and chairs,great decor and furnishings in a light and airy brewpub,the staff here are super friendly and made my twin brother Stephen and I so welcomed in their brewpub. They offer a great German meal menu and great Kölsch beer. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Wednesday afternoon and this place was busy,we got a nice table and a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a couple of beers ,we got Sion Kölsch and these delicious beers were served iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular brewpub. The beer was really tasty,I really enjoy Kölsch beer ,it's light and hoppy and very easy to drink,I also love the variety of Kölsch beers available in Cologne and Sion Kölsch is a particular favourite of mine. We stayed here for two beers each before we moved on and for a first time visit we were very impressed with the great brewpub. Colin is Brauhaus is really easy to locate on An Der Schanz located by the River Rhine. Opening hours are; Monday,11am till 11.30pm. Tuesday,Closed. Wednesday to Sunday,11am till 11.30pm. A great brewpub and one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area."
