"Very happy to post a review for the Tally Ho. Unfortunately for us, having moved to the area 4 years ago, this was the first time we visited the Tally Ho, but it certainly will not be our last. We loved the ambiance of the pub itself, a place to go for either a drink with friends or a delicious meal. The food was superb, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. If you live in the area or are visiting and haven't been to the Tally Ho you should try it, you will not be disappointed. It will not be long before we return."

"We had a gorgeous Mothers Day roast. The food was excellent, can’t fault! The only thing I will say is the service was okay but a little strange. We had a girl who said someone would take a drinks order, no one came. The table next to us were seated after us and got served before us. We had to ask for menus and a drinks order. The food was prompt fantastic. One server commented on how stressful the day had been twice over we didn’t ask? One server told us she was new. And another asked if we had a nice meal, apart from the beer around the water glass (from when he bought our drinks over) which sounded kind of sarcastic or he was just saying what he was thinking. But it seemed like everyone just said what they were thinking while serving us today. I would suggest slightly more professionalism from servers. Suggestion: Don’t polish cutlery in the middle of the pub, it was noisy and really annoying while we were trying to have conversations as it was right next to our table. BUT .. Great food!"
