Lovely pub with friendly welcome. Food fantastic as was the beer. Highly recommended and will hopefully visit again when in the area.

The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the location is fantastic. The cost per person is between £30 and £40. Here's my rating: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 4.

First visit here tonight as our local The Jolly Sailor is unfortunately still fire damaged ! Friendly atmosphere.. Very clean and tidy .. Excellent fish choices on the specials board and steak was ‘proper’ meat ! Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be going back with the family …

This is a beautiful pub with wonderful service and absolutely amazing food. Dining here is a delight, thanks to the authentic character of this country pub, which offers the perfect atmosphere that all great pubs should have. The menu is fantastic, diverse, and caters to everyone’s tastes. I highly recommend it! The scallops, in particular, were a delightful mix of pan-fried, and simply delicious!

This was our second visit to this lovely venue, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. This charming traditional pub serves absolutely fantastic food of the highest quality. The staff are incredibly friendly, and there's an added delight in the form of Betty, the owner’s basset hound, who greets us with joy. I can't recommend this place highly enough. I’m at a loss for words when it comes to describing this pub. The food was incredible, the drinks were excellent, and the staff was both personable and friendly. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was going to love it. The menu is absolutely fantastic, offering a wide variety of options that cater to all tastes—there’s so much choice that it’s hard to pick just one! This has become my favorite pub of all time, and I can’t wait to return for more.

I visited with my wife and friends for a meal and drinks, and I have to say, it was an excellent experience. The selection of ales was impressive, and the menu was outstanding. I appreciate that all the food is locally sourced, with meat from Dart farms and fish from Brixham. The chef clearly knows what he's doing, and the beer is well-maintained. Wow where do I start with this country pub. We came here a couple of weeks ago for a group meal, the food was fantastic, the pub was clean and the atmosphere was perfect, however one thing that stood out to all of us were the staff. The loveliest girl and owners behind the bar and doing the waiting, so helpful, cracking sense of humour and just went that extra mile to make our already fantastic evening that extra bit special, they really looked like they loved their work which was so lovely to see and says so much about this pub.
