"We arrived earlier than planned but not a problem, seated us in the bar and ordered cocktails. At the appointed time we were asked if we wanted to move to the table and our drinks quickly followed us. Maitre de was excellent, on hand when required and organised the serving team well. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the wine and made good recommendations about the Bookatable menu options. Service continued to be efficient and unobtrusive. We spent a lovely two and a half hours celebrating my daughters graduation, the restaurant team recognised this with a tailored dessert! The one down side would be the massively overpriced wine. How can a cocktail (just under 10, expensive, but London price) be less than a glass of mid range red 14.50, nice, but not 14.50 a glass nice The food was good value even with the Filet Steak upgrade, just a shame about the drinks prices. Did not detract from an excellent experience, thanks to the Tuesday evening team at Gaucho Smithfield."

We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"A great find, the starters of squid and the charcoal cooked prawns was only a small indicator for the amazing stake sharing platter to follow. We always enjoy our steak rare and it was the perfect way for these lovely steaks. They come with three house sauce's too, and my wife was upset that the peppercorn sauce was as good as hers as she prides herself on having a great recipe for this. We had the Malbec number 20 on the wine menu which went perfect with the steaks too."

They even accommodated our request for turkey bacon instead of pork. I believe this is a perfect spot for a leisurely brunch, especially for a mother-daughter outing. "The only thing that was good about our lunch was service helpful, timely, friendly and professional. But otherwise not worth going the room was way too cold, the loo was absolutely freezing. Everything in the room feels shabby and just out of shape. Food wasn’t amazing to put it gently. Burrata not creamy. My steak completely overcooked. The other steak cooked well but Uber salty. Prawns tasted of nothing. Mash dry. Broccoli flavourless. Spinach just outright bad. And all this for £170 for two adults and a child, no drinks, no starters. There is much better value elsewhere in Chelsea if you want steak The Chelsea Tavern, the Butcher etc. This was a poor meal and poor experience, but great service made it just a bit less painful."

"I don’t recommend coming here unless you plan on partying all night. Myself and my partner came for a 1 night staycation on Valentine’s Day. When we arrived we were blown away by the customer service at the front desk and the interiors in the room. When we came back to the room for the night, there was a lot of noise in the hotel from around 9pm onwards. We didn’t mind this at first as it was still quite early in the evening. We were woken up from 3am-7.30am as there was people slamming doors in the hallway, talking very loudly and playing music in the rooms next to us. We were shocked how management could allow this. It sounded like there was 6 people or more in the room next to us drinking and playing music. We came to the dean for a relaxing night away but unfortunately we came home exhausted . We understood when we booked the hotel that there was nightclubs nearby but the issue wasn’t the outside noise it was the noise inside which was insanely loud. I mentioned this at the front desk when we were checking out and they seemed shocked and said they do walks of the hallways during the night but the noise was so loud I didn’t understand how they couldn’t have heard it. They offered to compensate us with brunch in Sophie’s rooftop which we appreciated but we turned down as we wanted to leave. Overall, lovely interiors and customer service but it is definitely more of a partying hotel than a relaxing quiet one. Unfortunately we won’t be back."

"We decided whilst in town on Saturday to loom for the nearest Spanish restaurant and this was a 20 minute walk away so we went for it. We didn't realise before booking that it was the sister restaurant of The Opera Tavern which we already have tried a couple of times and loved. The food is creative, delicious, well presented. Jamon Iberico de bellota and manchego are always our choice in Spanish restaurant and they were both great here. We also has the corvette flowers with goats cheese and honey, wow! Along with chicken and octopus dishes. All perfect. The decor, atmosphere and staff were all great too, very stylish place with excellent and attentive service. Worth a trip into town for or to break up a day of shopping."

"Absolutely amazing from start to finish. My girlfriend booked for my birthday. We‘re both vegan and everything we had was delicious- esp the lasagne! They even have vegan Parmesan!! Not only this but the wines were labelled vg too. We went midweek and although we were running late and had to push the table back, we never felt rushed. Really enjoyable experience and relaxed atmosphere. To top it all off, they brought out a sorbet at the end of our meal and had wrote happy birthday in a fruity sauce.
