"The usual wetherspoons restaurant, great food at decent prices. We were surprised with the size of this place, a lot of tables to choose from and with plenty of space between them, we were carrying luggage and there was plenty of space to put them next to us comfortably. Service is good, the ordering process smooth (by scanning the QR code to place the order online), and overall the experience is nice."

"All right, it’s been a little while since I last posted but this is the first time I’d ever tried fried chicken and waffle. Now, Bird seems to have some mixed, yet largely positive, reviews on google and one of my friends insisted we check it out. Unsurprisingly, we went for the fried chicken and waffle with maple syrup and Nashville hot sauces. As usual, we opted for a burger, with the chilli cheese (minus the chillis) being the one of choice. I also fancied some fried chicken tenders following an episode of Mark Weins (big up the og). I went for the tenders first and they were terrible, frankly. The coating was soft and the meat was suffocatingly dry as if they chucked them in the microwave for reheating. The fried chicken and waffle was much better, however, with the coating crispy and meat succulent. The waffles were soft with a hint of crisp around the coating; not too sweet and certainly fluffy. The fried chicken could’ve done with something absorbing the excess oil, though. Lastly, the burger was quite pleasant the charcoal bun was an interesting look and had a nice fluffy texture inside, with the fried thigh being both juicy and crispy. The balance of the condiments was appropriate. The staff were friendly and helpful; the place was quiet so it was nice to essentially relax without excessive noise. It’s covid friendly, which is a plus, because the interior design adds to the experience. If I fancy fried chicken and waffle again, I’ll likely look to explore alternative options for a first time visit. If you’re around Camden, you’re welcome to check out google reviews. I value freshness, so I don’t think I’ll be returning. 5/10."

"A place for real ale lovers with outdoor seating. Order meal at the bar. Had steak and ale pie with mash, peas and carrots not forgetting the gravey. A larger than expected portion. Very nice. Food seating area for groups at the back. I sat opposite the bar. I tried the oatmeal stout as I am a Guinness porter drinker but did not like so tried the speciality rum. I work locally so will revisit for the real guest ale and a dessert. 2-4-1 cocktails offer everyday 4-8pm with special meal offers on certain days. Friendly staff and good cheerful service. Got busier as the night went on but not too crowded on this Saturday to have a local feel. It can get a bit noisy with everyone chatting inside. Located near Clapham Junction with other bars and restaurants nearby. Add this to your road trip."

"A lively local spot steps from the hotel we were staying at. This place was rated high on Yelp (even with the non Elites so figured I'd give it a shot. Glad I did... Each night I passed by and noticed the crowds. People were chatty and happy, windows and outdoor seating were always open and buzzing. It drew quite a crowd. I thought they were just tourists like me but turns out, no. It is indeed a neighborhood gem. So this was a hit for our London dining experience. We've had quite a few misses so this was a very pleasant surprise. The menu looks straight out of Little Italy (NYC version . The service sadly was not excellent but that's because they were fully packed and busy as all heck so I deducted for that. The food more than made up for it ... did not disappoint!! Everything was delicious. But it did take a while to serve us and I don't know why they served the appetizers at the same time as our entrees. There was barely a space left on the table after our wine and sodas. Must try: prosciutto and melon appetizer as well as the avocado, tomato, and fresh mozzarella. Both were outstanding. Generous portions of prosciutto layered on top of sliced melon. The melon was super sweet! Then the avocado was a surprise element to the fresh mozzarella and tomato dish. We don't have it that way in the USA. But it works here. That fresh mozzarella was almost a pillow y burrata like texture (same family so it was moist and folded very fresh. Yummy in my tummy. The entrees were really good funny thing, so apparently they use quite a bit of vodka in their penne with vodka sauce. The waiter seemed concerned and noted that to me when he noticed I ordered it for my kid. Ha Ha (Good call and I didn't mind...it cooks off, right?! She'll sleep well then I said. The linguine with clams were great, clams were a tad on the small side. But the dish was simple and delicious garlic and olive oil, very good olive oil I might add. My other kid ordered the Hawaiian pizza. No shortage of of toppings on this, it was fully stacked. Loved it. This place was super authentic and I was pleasantly surprised as we were in London...not known for their culinary hits. If I were to return to London, I would recommend this place for sure. I wish I had room to try the dessert but we were so stuffed after the entrees that we could not. Other nearby tables ordered it though and boy did it look good and I don't even have that much of a sweet tooth. Delissimo!"

"If you love having a local cafe to frequent, maybe so much it starts to feel like a second living room, then Labi is your place. After spending some time in a city, I always manage to find a favorite spot to grab a coffee and meet friends or do some work. Labi has definitely become that spot for my latest location in West London. I've consistently found myself walking far past the well-known coffee chains to find a seat in this quirky little cafe and deli. Mismatched antique style tables, chairs, and sofas invite you to sit down and stay awhile. The music selection is always interesting, but whether it's Norah Jones or the Pulp Fiction soundtrack it always seems to feel right. The staff is exceptionally friendly and largely international, happy to give great recommendations or make cheerful small talk while you wait for your coffee. The food is all organic and made fresh daily including salads, sandwiches, and lasagnas. They also have a breakfast and lunch menu for a more restaurant-style dining experience. Brownies, cookies, tarts, cakes, pies, and various patisseries are well presented and practically irresistible (and I usually don't resist! . Labi uses a nice espresso of high quality to create delicious coffee beverages, but the chai tea latte is one of the best I've had and has become my regular choice. There is also a wide selection of tea leaves to choose from to brew by the pot or cup. It is the fusion of a casual cafe setting with the option for more traditional restaurant dining that makes Labi so unique. You can sit down with a coffee while doing some work for a couple hours, or stop by for a fun lunch with friends and feel entirely at place doing both. Anything goes, and, whatever it is, it goes well!"

"Me and my friend went to this restaurant yesterday and had really great experience. The food was really good as a Japanese I think they truly kept the authentic teste of the Japanese food. I been this country for long time was really missing the real teste of my food, this restaurant gave me a nice reminder on the memory lane. Sashimi was really freash and the tempura was the star dish of the evening. They have variety of sake drink collection some of them are really rare. The service was very friendly but it took little while to get the food but it's understandable because of the nature of the food as it take long to prepare. I would definitely recommend it to all. If you want to get a real teste of Japan's food please visit there you will love it."

"A British friend of mine recommended this place to me so I thought I'd try it out. I had been living off of frozen pizza and cereal for a week, since London is so damn expensive, so I thought this would be a treat. THE EXPERIENCE: Walking in, the layout is a little confusing, at least to me as a foreigner. It looks like you order when you walk in and then take it to your table. Except when I went to order I was stopped short by a waiter/host who then took me to my table and gave me a menu. I sat down, figured out what I wanted then asked if I was support to order through a waiter and they said I had to go to the front. So I unwillingly left my personal things at my table (out of sight) to go order my food at the front. When I got there the cashier asked me for my table number. There was a number on my table? I had no idea. So I had to walk back to my table and find it. Table 3. I walk back to the cashier, customers behind me hate me at this point. I then pay and get a receipt (my meal was £7.65 for a 1/4 chicken and two sides) and sit back down. I wait maybe 10 minutes, nothing crazy and my chicken, peri chips (seasoned french fires) and cole slaw comes out. It all looks delicious. But wait I have no silverware or condiments or napkins. Did the waiter forget? I look around and realize it's all at a bar in the center of the room. I have to leave my stuff, and my food again. I grab a fork, knife, napkins, my garlic sauce (recommended by my friend) and ketchup and head back to my table. There are waiters everywhere but I'm not sure what there job is exactly, other than to bring the food out. They don't set tables or anything else. THE FOOD: The chicken was good I guess, it's grilled, definitely needs garlic sauce even though I ordered (medium spiceyness level). It's nothing to be over the moon about, slightly better than KFC. The coleslaw was good, lots of mayo but crunchy and fresh. The chips (french fries) were thick cut but seasoned nicely, needed ketchup though. CONCLUSION: Once I finished my meal I flagged down a waitress and asked if we bus our own tables or if they do it. Since I'd done everything else, I wasn't sure. She smiled and said she would do it (didn't really answer my question though). She probably thinks I'm a high maintenance American. In all honesty, I don't mind the self service type of restaurants but they should explain the process if it's your first time there. Most places like Soup Plantation will walk you through it a bit. Food was good, nothing crazy, or too delicious. The price was expensive for me, but reasonable. I suppose a meal like that would cost around $10-$12 in the US, here it was closer to $15. Would I go again? Yes...? I think so, but not often."
