"This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving a traditional Sunday roast, paired with an excellent selection of real ales. It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday in Clapham. During the warmer months, the high street is closed to traffic on weekends, creating a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly and do a great job of making you feel at home. As a family from the Northeast, we can be tough to impress when it comes to Sunday roasts, but this meal made us feel like we were back in Newcastle. We shared the roast platter, which functions like a personal carvery, allowing us to fill our plates just how we liked. When we couldn’t eat any more, they kindly offered to package our leftovers in cartons, which is a fantastic way to support the #LoveFoodHateWaste initiative. Keep up the excellent work, and a huge thank you to Marcello, Dan, and Carmen!"

Only good memories with this pub is this pub where I met my future and current wife! Seven years ago. So many evenings there under good beer, good food and great company. So this review is a bit dated, but I'm glad they survived the pandemic and they will visit the next time we're safe in the country!

I have nothing but fond memories of this pub—it’s where I first met my future wife, seven years ago! We've spent countless evenings there enjoying great beer, delicious food, and wonderful company. Although this review may be a bit nostalgic, I'm thrilled to see that they've made it through the pandemic. We’ll definitely be visiting again the next time we're back in the country! View menu

Kam für Punk Day had some cocktails on the 2-4-1 deal, Gin Fizz and Dark n Stormy 's. Starters were good that we had Mac and Cheese Bites and Padron-Pepper. For the net we had both the chicken, Leek Ham Hock Pie, served with creamy mash potato, roasted vegetables gravy, which was one of the best pubs I had eaten. The roasted veg was also excellent. Had no room for a pudding, but we tried to be some Brewdogs beers of the stout beautiful. The staff was absolutely brilliant, attentive and helpful. We live locally so will definitely return.

I visited for Punk Day and enjoyed some cocktails from the 2-for-1 deal, specifically the Gin Fizz and Dark 'n' Stormy. The starters were impressive; we tried the Mac and Cheese Bites and Padron Peppers, both delicious. For our main course, we opted for the Chicken, Leek, and Ham Hock Pie, served with creamy mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. It was one of the best pub pies I've ever had, and the roasted veggies were fantastic as well. Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert, but we did sample some of Brewdog's beers, and the Stout was delightful. The staff were absolutely exceptional—attentive and helpful. Since we live nearby, we will definitely be back!

A must for anyone looking for traditional Sunday roasts with a wide selection of genuine ales to wash it. A perfect way to spend your Sunday in Clapham. The road is closed in the warmer months over the weekend, with a fantastic welcome atmosphere. The staff is friendly and good to make you feel at home. As a geordie family we are hard to impress with a Sunday roast, but this meal made us feel we were back in the tone. We shared the frying plate, which was like a personal Carvery, so that you could fill your dish to your own taste and if we could not eat anymore, they allowed us to take in cardboard boxes that this day a great support for #LoveFoodHateWaste Keep the great work and a massive t... A place for real Ale lovers with outdoor seating. Order food in the bar. Had steak and ale cakes with mash, peas and carrots not forget the gravel. A larger proportion than expected. Very nice. seating area for groups on the back. I sat across the bar. I tried the oatmeal when I was a Guinness Porter Drinker, but not like that tried the specialty Rum. I'm working on site, so it's gonna revise for the real guest album and a dessert. 2-4-1 cocktails offer 4-8pm each day with special meals on specific days. Friendly staff and good cheerful service. Have more business than the night started, but not too crowded this Saturday to have a local feeling. It can be a bit loud when everyone chats insid...

A place for real ale lovers with outdoor seating. Order meal at the bar. Had steak and ale pie with mash, peas and carrots not forgetting the gravey. A larger than expected portion. Very nice. Food seating area for groups at the back. I sat opposite the bar. I tried the oatmeal stout as I am a Guinness porter drinker but did not like so tried the speciality rum. I work locally so will revisit for the real guest ale and a dessert. 2-4-1 cocktails offer everyday 4-8pm with special meal offers on certain days. Friendly staff and good cheerful service. Got busier as the night went on but not too crowded on this Saturday to have a local feel. It can get a bit noisy with everyone chatting inside....
