"The staff was excellent, and the wine and whiskey were quite good. However, the food was just average. I started with the pigeon; the menu mentioned breast and wing, so I expected one of each, but I received four wings that were tough and had so little meat that they wouldn’t have satisfied a pigeon, especially for £14. On the plus side, the black pudding was enjoyable. The main courses were alright, but nothing worth raving about."

"I've been using Natural Spice for years and years. After the last change of management or refurb, the food only got better but strangely the Poppadoms got a little soft. I didn't give on and they have nailed it Okay it's a small detail but when the food gets better and that first pompom doesn't crunch, it smarts a bit Happy to say they fixed the smallest detail. This isn't Indian. It's British Indian food with Arabic and Mediterranean flavours. I recommend that you deep dive the menu and don't be afraid to ask them to add subtract and mix ingredients for you #natspicebromance"

"I have been a big fan of the Red Tiffin for a while now. It is the best South Asian takeaway in the area with a good selection of meat-free options. However, I have had some mixed experiences with the staff at the counter. One of them is incredibly friendly and sweet, but there is another guy who can be quite rude. Unfortunately, his attitude has made me hesitant to order from here. It's a shame because other than that, I have had no other issues with this place."

"The orders were mixed up at this restaurant, the salad was dry, and the cucumber looked like it was sprouting another life form (as seen in the picture). When I called to complain, I first spoke with a woman who seemed new and didn't know much, so I was transferred to another employee who was very rude. He tried to claim I was at a different address and said they always have problems with me, even though I am not at the address he mentioned. He abruptly hung up on me."

"Made plans to come here for lunch after a morning visit to Camera Obscura which is just a little way up the mile. Been here before years ago loved it…love it still! Great ambience, fantastic service and amazing food all hot, fresh and tasty. Large portions too! I can definitely recommend the haggis bites they’re delicious. Shout out to our sever Sophie who was lovely; welcoming, friendly efficient. Love this place will return."

"Not sure if this venue has changed hands but its definitely took a nose dive. Slow delivery, driver didnt have right change and we ended up out of pocket. Forgot some of our order too! Ordered a Margarita Pizza and ended up with Cheese n...bean Pizza! Why would you? It was awful. Chicken was dry and inedible. Shame as it's location is prime and very visible. "I made a reservation for 4 tonight without realizing we actually needed 6 seats. The staff was so accommodating kind about it. I wanted to say thank you to the servers on tonight (specifically the girl with the hufflepuff tattoo) because I know it can be really frustrating when a mistake like this happens! she was incredibly welcoming and made it work for us. "Ordered a large chicken tikka kebab with sauce separate at an extra cost from here and large chips and cheese got home to realise that there was no sauce and the chips were cold… I called to complain and he was so unhelpful and had a disagreement about it then eventually offered to give me my sauce which I paid for after speaking for ages in there own language but said I would need to come along for it and I said by the time I come all the way back along for the sauce my food will all be freezing and I want fresh chips they refused until I asked to speak to manager then he said bring all food back and we will replace it all so I did… I go all the way back along to get my fresh order and to return my food and explained that I was pregnant and can’t have the chicken reheated for them to then give me a donner wrap instead and reheated chips I got all the way home again to realise this and had to go all the way back for my refund! I wasted fuel there and back there and back again and they just looked at us and said it was another mistake shocking customer service and a ridiculous way to treat a pregnant woman"

"As someone who loves to eat, I decided to try the takeout pizza from this restaurant one evening. I was pleasantly surprised by the price of £7.99 for a large pizza. The pizza was cooked quickly and perfectly, still hot when I picked it up. The only complaint I have is that it was slightly bland in flavor. However, taste is subjective so others may have a different experience. Overall, I would give it 4 stars for taste. The price of the pizza cannot be beat, so I recommend giving it a try. "Was really fancying a pizza so got a barbeque chicken pizza for dinner which was at a good price. Delivery on the website stated that it would arrive in 45 minutes however the meal arrived over an hour after when it was supposed to arrive. The shop which I had phoned in to ask what was going on and the staff stated that our pizza had left the shop around 30 minutes before it actually arrived. I live only about 5 minutes away from the shop so I don't understand how a pizza that has just left the shop took so much time to arrive at my house. The pizza when it arrived was pretty good but a little cold. I would recommend pizza boy as it has good food and prices however I would highly reccomend not using delivery."
