"Es gibt nichts Schöneres als am Samstag morgen an den Markt in Luzern zu gehen.Zwischendurch gehört auch eine kleine Pause mit Kaffee dazu. Leider werde ich immer wieder enttäuscht in der Braui was das Personal anbelangt. Ich kann es verstehen wenn es manchmal sehr hecktisch zu und her geht. Dies war aber letzten Samstag morgen nicht so. Die Servierkraft gibt einem das Gefühl unerwünscht zu sein und den Job den sie macht scheint ihr in keinster weise nur ansatzweise zu gefallen. Hatte ein Cappuciono und Gipfeli bestellt leider noch den Betrag aufgerundet... nicht mal ein Dankeschön... nichts! Versteinerte Miene.Auch die Leute mit denen ich den Tisch geteilt habe rollten die Augen da sie Ihnen den Kaffee sozusagen auf den Tisch knallte. Leider habe ich das nun schon zu oft erlebt. Schade um diesen eigentlich schönen Platz und ich werde dieses Restaurant in Zukunft meiden egal ob Kaffee Essen oder Apéro."

"Germanish Swiss food. Comforting and hearty. Stop by the host to get a table outside. Someone tried to cut us and asked a waiter and the host didn’t give them our table but told them to wait for next table. I respect the order. We ordered the pork belly and also homemade meatball. I like the meatball better than the pork belly. Both dishes were solid though. The vegetable sides are usually root vegetables- carrots, turnips, etc. The mashed potato and gravy with the meatballs were delicious, salted just right. The spicy ginger drink was really good too. I was worried at first that it’d burn with too much spice but it was very well balanced. They’re a little overwhelmed despite a decent amount of staffing. Everyone was very nice though."

"Eine Pizza, fast zu schön um rein zu schneiden. Und dann schmeckt sie auch noch so wie sie aussieht. Eine Freude. So stellt man sich einen Besuch beim Italiener vor. Freundlich, zuvorkommend authentisch. Kurz ein Gewinn für die Luzerner Gastrolandschaft."

"Das Restaurant hat eine wunderbare Terasse. Leider total unkoordiniertes Personal. Wier warteten 20 Minuten um zu bestellen.. Mind. 80 Minuten auf die Pizza. Die Kellner laufen jeweils leer zurück zum Restaurant und stapeln das abegeräumte Geschirr auf einem Tisch. Pizza war in Ordnung. Leider waren die Getränke bis zum Essen leer na gut wir hatten ja auch Zeit zum trinken) da aber der Nachbartisch 19 Minuten auf 4 Getränke wartete und 1 davon noch falsch serviert wurde, verzichteten wir auf eine weiter Getränkebestellung. Freundlich wurden wir erst beim bezahlen behandelt. Schade für eine so tolle Location."

"Das Personal war eigentlich ganz nett. Ich habe dann den the Italian Salat bestellt. Ich konnte nicht die ganze Portion fertig essen, aber nur weil soo viel Rucola Salat auf dem Teller war, was ja eigentlich okey ist. Aber leider waren statt Fleischtomaten nur wenige Cherrytomaten drauf und bei der Sauce wurde auch richtig gespart. Die Wassermelone, welche auf dem Menu stand, fehlte leider auch. Zu all dem hatte ich noch ein kleiner Kieselstein im Salat. Hat echt weh getan beim kauen. Gut da kann ja niemand was. Doch als ich am Schluss die Kellnerin darauf angesprochen habe, kam nur ein leises entschuldigung und der Stein ist wohl vom Salat . Das beste war aber als wir die Jacken anzogen, zeigte die Kellnerin mit dem Finger auf mich.War wohl ein schlechter Tag."

"this wonderful food for thoughts is right in the learning city next to the sea lucern. the restraunt has a basic philosophy of slow food, which means that its menu is tailor-made after seasonal local production of materials. from vegetables to meat from crumbles like saffron everything is locally grown and used. they will never find a consistent menu. we ordered pizza with cheese bevel and garlic a divine crack that would melt in the mouth and they will leave with garlic beer. next we ordered a sweet art a torte, which was served with sauce, made in a puff baked. amazingly taste a crunchy and a soft bite at the end. we also ordered fresh local fish with potatoes. the fish was delicate juice and tasty. last was the desert that was made locally ice cream from the farm and then poppy with plumen. they need to find out how the plants really improve the taste. we were introduced to a local drink that was its most amazingly essential. the personal is efficient and makes the best up. we met the owner of the restraunt who was so curious to explain the ideology and the thought process that makes the courts. please visit the food and the view."

"My girlfriend is allergic to fish. I find it incredible that the same knife was used for her avocado toast and a salmon toast. Is the restaurant unaware that some people may be allergic to certain foods? This practice is extremely dangerous and my friend was lucky that there was a pharmacy nearby. I think this behavior from the restaurant shows a lack of professionalism and is unacceptable for so-called 'professionals ' to make such a mistake. Completely unacceptable. I hope that measures will be taken in the future to prevent anything worse from happening. It wouldn 't surprise me if the restaurant tried to deny these facts, but in the end 'you have to trust the professionals '."

"Service was bad for a place like this with these prices because at our side table, i.e. directly 20cm from my plate, the entire food from the neighboring table (table of 4) including salad dressing was served... the noise and the constant unrest (man had the feeling of eating in the kitchen) took away the whole ambience... we didn't even want to talk. In addition, the fish was not cooked through."

"Ich war mit einem Kollegen im CC wegen den guten Bewertungen auf Tripadvisor. Vorweg meine Frau ist Mexikanerin und für einen Mexikaner wäre dieses Essen ein Schlag in die Fresse. Ja ich habe verstanden, dass es ein TexMex Restaurant sein soll, ich sehe aber nicht ein warum alles aus Convenienceprodukten besteht. Die Guacamole hat gerade mal die Farbe mit einer Avocado gemeinsam, sonst bestehen eher Gemeinsamkeiten mit einem Chemielabor. Die Beilagen zu den Fajitas auch Convenience kommen eher lieblos und in homöopathischen Dosen daher. Dafür war das Rindsfleisch sehr gut und es wird auch nicht mit den Tortillas gespart. Mit ein bisschen mehr Frische und ein bisschen mehr Authentizität wie z. Bsp. mit Koreander oder frischen Hausgemachten Frijoles wäre das ganze eigentlich recht gut. Das hat nichts mit TexMex oder Mex Restaurant zu tun sondern mit dem Anspruch an sein eigenes Restaurant. Den mehrheitlichen Partygästen fällt das wahrscheinlich eher weniger auf da der Alkohol relativ günstig und in grösseren Mengen fliesst."

"Am späteren Nachmittag wollten wir noch das schöne Wetter geniessen und nahmen spontan im Garten des Helvetias Platz. Das Personal, offenbar bereits im vorabendlichen Stress, spazierte zig Mal an uns vorbei, ohne uns auch nur eines Blickes zu würdigen. Als wir uns dann endlich bemerkbar machen konnten und auch unserem Unmut über die lange Wartezeit zum Ausdruck brachten, bekamen wir nur eine schnoddrige Antwort. Darauf hin haben wir uns in Richtung Reuss gemacht, wo man doch noch, trotz der Touristenströme, gerne bedient. Fazit: Die Preise haben sich in den letzten Jahren im Helvetia diametral zur Servicequalität verändert. Die einen rauf, das andere runter. Zudem ist es wirklich so, wie andere Besucher schreiben: man wird als Gast förmlich vom Rauch der Zigaretten eingenebelt. Aber, ... da können die Helvetia-Betreiber ja nix dafür."

"Das Restaurant liegt sehr Zentral in der Nähe des Bahnhofes. Es gibt saisonale Speisen z.T. nach "Grossmutterart". Die Speisekarte hat für jeden etwas dabei. Bei schönem Wetter waren wir draussen im Gartenrestaurant und haben den lauen Sommerabend genossen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und das Essen schmeckt ebenfalls gut."

"When you say Mexican food, you immediately think of fresh, tasty, picante, lime, cilandro... Me and my husband wanted to go out for Spanish or Mexican food today and I told my husband that Pacifico was better than all the others. Unfortunately the food wasn't as expected! starter Nachos, tasteless, cold plates, cheese not melted properly, pico de gallo can be seen in the pictures, which is canned tomatoes without onions, herbs, etc. Main course Burrito, that's not a burrito, you can't eat it. Tasteless without salt, dry, potatoes were probably prepared a few days ago, etc. I have given the feedback to the manager and I hope he will do something about it. Mariano provided great service!!! Very friendly, nice and attentive!!! Fits perfectly with the concept."

"We were out in the evening trying to find somewhere to eat with our 3yo 10mo. This was the only place that was kid friendly and had chicken nuggets! My husband said they had some of the best French fries he's ever had. They also had great drinks and delicious ice cream! No high chairs, but the staff was accommodating and made room for us to pull our buggy up to the table. English speakers available. Super cute American-type diner with delicious Swiss ice cream! Highly recommend if you have picky eaters like me :"

"Great pasta restaurant in Lucerne. The pasta is fresh and made on site. The flavors of the ravioli are varied, excellent and change depending on the season. I loved the red cabbage ravioli, they are my favorite. When ordering, you select the pasta or ravioli mixture you want, then the sauce of your choice. You can also buy fresh pasta to take away. Homemade lemonade is freely available and unlimited. The restaurant has a nice industrial style, the staff members are very friendly. The place has gained a solid reputation, I recommend booking in advance or arriving early."

"8 of us went to the restaurant for lunch after the main meal time at 1 p.m. Four people sat down next to us at 1:20 p.m. They had received the starter and main course before us and had finally already paid when the first four people from us received their pizza (after 50 minutes! . We thought our food would come, but it took another 10 minutes to arrive. One person had already finished eating when we received our food. The only excuse was that the pizzaiolo was too fast. Impudence! The food itself was very good, but the service was unfortunately unsatisfactory."

"Meine Mutter war als Kundin im Hotel Rebstock und habe deshalb diese Hause besuchen können. Das Willkommen war sehr sehr positiv und das Haus sehr sauber.Alle Mitarbeiter waren nett, freundlich und behilflich und standen immer zum Beantworten meiner zahllosen Fragen zur Verfügung. Sogar der Direktor half im Service und war hilfsbereit und flexibel, auch in aussergewöhnlichen Situationen.Das Frühstück war warm und gut präsentiert mit reichlich Auswahl. "My husband and I tend to choose restaurants by looking at their star ratings, but the star rating was lower than other restaurants, so we entered the restaurant half excited and half worried. However, it tasted better than I expected and was enjoyable to eat. If you don't understand the menu, go Papago...! I ordered the top and bottom of the meat menu haha. The portions... The portions were small for what you eat in Korea, but they were good. The waiter was also friendly and asked us if the taste was still good haha Good!
