"Shrove Tuesday 13 February 2024 at 3.00pm, a wonderful special lunch with my wife and my old friends, savoring fried pizza, arancini, fried montanara, pizza with escarole, raisins and pine nuts, baked in the oven, unique sensations that only Naples can offer. The owner offered us a plate of chiacchiere with icing sugar which was much appreciated. Payment is made at the cash desk only after having tasted the delicacies of the house, without rushing. "We were passing through Naples and we couldn't stop trying the Neapolitan pizza. The Neapolitans recommended us (due to time and distance) Gaetano Adamo, just about 10 minutes walk from the Naples train terminal and Garibaldi Square. The inevitable recommendation: a Margherita pizza. The rest, really, everything else, appetizers and dessert, is profit. In the photo, a croquette stuffed with cheese, because that day they didn't have eggplants. But it was very rich. We accompanied the dinner with some Peroni (although I think this level of pizza would have paired better with a sangria or wine) but the drinks menu is very varied. Good price, excellent flavor and a friendly and exceptional atmosphere. They speak English and understand a little Spanish but it won't be a problem to read the cards and place an order. The service starts at 7 pm but since the place is very popular it fills up very quickly. It's big, so be patient to get in. If like us, you have a couple of hours to return from Pompeii to Rome don't miss it!"

"Too bad it was burned! Let me start by saying that I love Porzio's pizza in Pianura, however this pizza in Vomero did not satisfy me at all. The products, the dough and the presentation of the pizza really seemed to deserve a lot but unfortunately both the crust and the base of the pizza were burnt and I couldn't fully enjoy it: it would have been better to wait a few more minutes and make it again. The staff was very kind to us but it would be better if the waiters didn't argue with each other in front of the customers: this combined with the rush of having to clear the table due to the long queue makes both the service and the atmosphere of the place lose points."

"We had booked for Easter Monday, 5 people. They asked us for our surname and mobile number. Reservation made for 1pm. We arrive on time and oops the table isn't there. They had given it to others. With the usual savoir faire of us Neapolitans they told us that in 10 minutes they would have us seated. 15 minutes passed and we were still waiting (despite the reservation). Another waiter tells us that the wait would go on for quite a while. We decide to leave despite the vain attempt of a plate of zeppoline offered to keep us there. Poor service, lack of seriousness. In order to fill a table they didn't take the reservation into account and didn't even call us. Without even apologizing they threw down the classic Neapolitan drama about the need to earn. They certainly wouldn't have given us the pizzas for free. Oh well we went to Isabella De Cham, and despite the crowd we ate very well and in a short time."

"If you are in the area this place is very good to have dinner or lunch. The price value is amazing at most pizzas being priced at €6-9. Everything else is mostly cheap with most things costing less than €12. Very taste as well and good quality. Dietary restrictions: Most/all pizzas have gluten or dairy in them. Parking: It's very hard to find parking here, especially in Naples, if you find free parking it's usually quite expensive. I highly recommend parking your car on a Park and Ride, it only costs €1.20 for a single metro ticket and its quick and efficient. Kid-friendliness: Yeah it's family-friendly as far as I know. Wheelchair accessibility: The paths are hard for wheelchairs in all of naples but the restaurant has step-free- access to the ground floor to dine in. "We found this wonderful place through a search because where we were trying to go was closing soon. I’m so glad we did! This was the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. "Even though I live a stone's throw away, I've always managed to avoid getting into this...until it happened. Alas, a trap for customers. 80 euro bill for a dinner of starters, 2 pizzas and 2 cutlets. Receipt in hand we discover that the octopus Luciana (appetizer taken in the center with the idea of eating 1 octopus each) costs more than 100 euros, so each single octopus costs 10 euros... first theft. If each of us had received an appetizer plate with its own single portion, I could justify the price, but brought to the center like that, charging 50 euros per plate is truly beyond all limits. Second theft...2 cutlets complete with rocket, chips and tomatoes 60 28 euros...44 euros each cutlet; a Tomahawk in short."

"Ameican pop music playing over the speakers and clips of Friends, Jerry Lewis, Laurel Hardy, The Godfather, and Disney classics on the TV let's you know the Tandem franchise is there to cater to Americans who don't know any better. The food at this place was wholly mediocre and not what someone comes to Italy to have. Their house white wine was flavorless. While I liked the char on the bread, the bruschetta lacked olive oil and garlic. My wife had the ragu over manfredi, I had the genovese over ziti. Neither of our dishes were all that notable. Tandem has 7 locations in Naples and it seems they stay packed. The front desk people highly recommended it to us, and it felt like all the other people were also there on hotel recommendations. If your front desk people recommended Tandem to you, I recommend you take their suggestions with more than a few grains of salt."
