"Came here to celebrate mine and the hubby's birthday with our parents, the restaurant was busy when we arrived for our table so we had a bit of a wait over our booking time, was getting a bit hangry but the staff were so lovely couldn't apologize enough that the large party had run over their time and were still there, couldn't be helped these things happen, was our parents 1st time here my own travelling from Paisley, we were all absolutely delighted with dinner left stuffed and wondering how soon is too soon to book again haha was also kindly given a bottle of fizz as way of apology for the delay with the table and for our birthdays. Top class staff"

"Just had my first meal here and I've got to say was the best place I've eaten in for years food was fantastic customer service was even better. "Thank you to everyone at the Himalayan Dine In (Airdrie) for an amazing 50th birthday dinner. With 15 guests for the dinner look after as well as other customers, the staff were attentive, patient and knowledgeable. The food was excellent and served without delay and no errors were made with any of the orders. We were all made welcome and never felt rushed, it was such a relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend The Himalayan Dine In for larger parties as well as more intimate groups. Thanks again to you all, you made a special birthday even more so."

"5 star for everything guys!! What a great wee place! The food is awesome, the best wrap and fresh salad I’ve tasted had the coconut and lime cheesecake too, and if my friend Julie and I hadn’t had the last 2 pieces, We’d have had seconds!! the staff are so lovely and friendly, the decor is lovely, very clean, toilets are very clean and fresh too, and very impressed that the place is wheelchair friendly too!! As I said,5 stars for everything!! Will most definitely be back!!"

"This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The food was incredible, packed with flavor and incredibly fresh; the meat was tender and juicy. We sampled a variety of dishes and each one was delicious! The portion sizes were just right, whether it was appetizers, entrees, or sides. The service was excellent; our server was friendly and professional, always attentive to our needs. Overall, it was an amazing experience and if we lived nearby, we would definitely be regulars! I highly recommend trying it if you are in the area!"

"I found this place by accident one day and I'm so glad I did, my Husband and I love this place and when we take our Daughter (age she loves it too. Hubby usually gets Mussels in a tomato sauce iv tried them...fabulous) The Fillet steaks are always cooked exactly the way we want (Med to rare). Can I say Iv tried Diane sauce many many times and their Diane sauce is absolutely superb (different BUT BETTER) than anywhere. Casa Mia pasta is lovely and creamy, fresh and very filling. My Daughters favourite is macaroni cheese and she absolutely loves the garlic bread with cheese. There are so many lovely dishes on their menu Iv tried most of them) and I can honestly say I have never left disappointed or hungry, I'm very surprised by previous review about portion sizes I NEVER finish my meal as I'm so full with the courses couldn't contemplate a dessert my Daughter assures me they are the best). The staff are really good at what they do even if they are mega busy they still stop to chat and always ask if we enjoyed our meal. I had been unwell with Covid and my appetite wasn't quite back so left quite a bit of my meal the last time we visited, the Manager came to ask if I hadn't enjoyed my meal as I'd left so much. I have ONE wee thing, I love Pate but don't like terrine, so Chef La Belle can I have Pate that isn't terrine, PLEASE Really fab little place please try it for yourself, I'm so glad we did. This is our go to times a month. PS, Chi Chi cocktail is devine"

"Some members of the family had eaten here previously and been impressed so was an easy choice for a family birthday. Shown immediately to a well spaced table at the rear of the restaurant, drinks order taken promptly and delivered to the table. Same with the food order. Up to this point this was a 10/10 visit. Any interaction with staff was cheerful, polite and timely. Everyone enjoyed their food although a recurring thought was the desire for more gravy with the beef daub. We were given time and space to enjoy both courses whilst being offered a second round of drinks which again arrived promptly. Around 20 minutes after finishing our main courses, our glasses were empty our conversation turned to debating dessert and coffee. Sadly by this time there wasn’t a member of staff to be seen, tables around us seemed to be at similar stages of their meals. It reminded us of being on a long haul flight where the crew serve the meal and then retreat to the galley and draw the curtain. Eventually a member of the family went on a staff hunt. After deciding against desserts we had to go on another hunt to find someone so we could pay. Pretty sure we could have done a runner and got away with it. Am not saying this is a bad restaurant because the pluses outweigh the negatives but the staff hunt took the edge off of what would have been an excellent family event."

"Dalshanan Farm was the next on the list of “Scottish Curry Award winners”. I’ve been looking forward to this for a few weeks since visiting two other winners (Edinburgh). We drove 80 miles each way for what we expected to be a great curry. Unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the expectation. We ordered a mixed platter to start which was just a plate of deep fried things! Over cooked (especially the samosa) , dry and pretty bad. A shame considering the reputation. My curry was bland, under seasoned and zero spice. I did raise this and the fantastic waiter (I suspect owner) changed it for another dish that apparently had more flavour. It did come out quickly but unfortunately had marginally more flavour and was spicier but absolutely doesn’t warrant the “HOT” warning. Looking at some reviews on here it seems like things have changed since they won the award. It was a long way to go for a meal that wasn’t memorable at all. Such a shame."

"Yesterday, on September 27th, 2021, three adults and a baby went to the restaurant for dinner. We were the only table in the restaurant. My son ordered a plain burger, but it came out with everything on it despite him specifically asking for it plain. We sent it back, and it was returned to the table less than 2 minutes later. The kitchen had removed the relish, sauce, and salad, but there was a hair inside the burger. This is highly unacceptable, especially considering that my son could have had a serious allergic reaction if he had been allergic to tomatoes. If the restaurant had been busy, I might have been more understanding, but this quality of food being served in an empty restaurant is appalling. The chef should be ashamed of serving inedible food. As a result, my son did not eat as he was put off by the experience. Perhaps this is the reason why the restaurant was empty - if this is the type of service coming from the kitchen."

"my man and I visited this restaurant yesterday to celebrate our high season. I've often gone by, and I just thought it was a good one. the bruschetta was almost the same size as the pizza. it was amazing. we have shared the Italian sausage pizza. to die. that's the most beautiful pizza I've ever had. we arrived and some tables came in after us. the service was great. I did not get the name of the waitress, but it was excellent. my man is a cook so that we don't eat often, but we'll definitely be back."

"I booked a couple of rooms for two nights and, to be honest, I didn't expect much for the price. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities at the Belmill. The rooms were spotless - my wife even did a thorough inspection and gave it 10/10 for cleanliness. The shower room was very modern with double shower heads and complimentary toiletries. The tea/coffee tray was well stocked with delicious biscuits. The towels were large, fluffy, and white. The bed had crisp white linens and was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast started a bit late, but it was worth the wait. The next morning, a lovely basket of fresh towels, toiletries, and biscuits was left outside our door with a welcoming note from Tricia, letting us know to ask for more towels if needed. I've been to many hotels, but the warm welcome we received at the Belmill made me eager to return."

"It was our first and last time at the Tipsy Cow. We booked a table for breakfast and got poached eggs and the baked eggs. Food arrived in a timely manner but was a far cry from what was described on the menu. Baked eggs were meant to be eggs on a bed of vegetables with tomato sauce and sourdough bread. What was received was a bowl of tomato soup with 8 or so baby plum tomatoes floating near the bottom and a single egg haphazardly baked on top. The egg white was not fully cooked and there were no vegetables to be found in the bowl of tomato soup. To make matters worse, I wasn 't even given a spoon for the soup eggs and instead had to fish out bits of tomato and uncooked egg with a fork. The staff never once checked in to ask if everything was okay with our meal. Service was poor in general with staff being more interested in gossiping at the bar area than tending to their patrons. We waited around 15 minutes for the bill after asking for it. It never arrived so we had to go up to the bar where all the staff were congregating to pay for our meal and finally leave. A poor experience all around."

"1/4/24 i read a review that they have scones as most cafés do I think they're HOMEMADE, but I will find out the next time i'm in Cumernod. Most scones r varied like plain, fruit, treacle, cheese cherry BUT in this café there r a few more that i've never heard of b4. So over you go check them all out. The person in the review had a lemon white chocolate one sang the praises of it that's ONE of the main reason i ventured over also to check out the many reviews. Well the lemon chocolate scones gets a 10/10 the only thing about it was a bit crumbly when I tried to cut it in halve as u can see, I forgot to ask if it could be heated up a wee bit, a few folks like them het up. At least my broccoli "

"I visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday morning with my wife and daughter. The staff was very nice and we were seated quickly. Our drinks order was taken promptly. I was impressed by the really good breakfast menu. I ordered the full Scottish breakfast without the egg due to an allergy, and instead got an extra potato scone. Others in my party had the pancake stack with bacon. The food was cooked freshly and delivered to our table promptly. In all my travels and stays in various hotels, this was one of the best, if not the best, cooked breakfasts I have ever had. Everything was high quality, fresh, and tasty, including the pancakes. We all left with completely clean plates and are eager to come back and try the lunch menu, which also looks amazing. The restaurant offers great value for money, especially considering the quality of the food and the excellent service provided by the staff."

"Went in to collect a takeaway about three weeks ago. Pre-ordered lamb karahi with rice and nan bread which is my usual order. Was Thursday night and the restaurant was very quiet which is not unusual and the owner was very polite and chatty as he usually is. The meal was totally bland and tasteless no hint of any spices at all and very watery and I was so disappointed as the food is normally excellent. Should really have phoned on the night to discuss this. I would be reluctant to return as the prices are not the cheapest and there may be other restaurants offering better value for money in the local area."

"We decided to book a night and dinner as a wee treat to ourselves. We’ve stayed here before and really enjoyed it. The staff are excellent and make the place even more special. I have to call out Jordan that works in the bar serving customers. He is naturally friendly, professional and courteous. He is an asset to the team. Meal was lovely and we reserved the lovely sofa in front of the fire after dinner. However there was a couple sat there but we mentioned it to the staff. They were very polite to the couple and let them finish their drinks. Jordan again handled it brilliantly. When they left the staff plumped up the cushions, lite candles and asked us through, it was lovely. Then to make it even better they brought us a free glass of fizz and some chocolates to apologise. It didn’t need an apology in our view but this was them going above and beyond. Breakfast was amazing, products high quality and cooked to perfection. Fully recommended."
