"The food in this place is now cheap low grade food. Plus you need to watch when ordering as they get their prices wrong all the time. I ordered food my phone and when i went to collect it. The guy never new the price and just put a rough estimate on the till. When i got home. I had a look online and they had charged ne 2.90 more. I know it's not much. But it's still fraud. You would think if they never new the prices. They would check the menu before charging. This place used to be amazing. But what a let down."

"I've had three visits now, each one matching or bettering the previous one. We thought the pizza we had on our first visit was the best we'd ever had, we were wrong ! Last nights surpassed it, if you love spicy then you must try the chilli and garlic pizza. On our second visit we had a lasagna and a spaghetti carbonara with garlic bread. Superb. This is restaurant quality food and with wine supplied by sister company MiaVino (not available to purchase with the food) it's possible to have a lovely meal for a fraction of the cost. I would recommend Dolce Vita without hesitation and will definitely be back."

"After a long journey from the south of England, we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. The service was incredibly quick, even though the restaurant was quite busy. The portions were generous and the food was delicious, especially the vegetarian options (both pizzas and pasta). The staff were also very accommodating when we asked for lactose-free options for our 3-year-old. I would definitely return to this restaurant."

"Was in Owens today and have to say it’s the worst managed pub I’ve ever been in. They have 16 year olds collecting glasses although I don’t know why as you could not get served for love nor money so not sure whose glasses they were collecting. Ordering on the app was no different it was a complete shambles. There was no organisation whatsoever and considering their prices are on average £2 more expensive than Glasgow city centre then I would expect much more for my money. The toilets were a disgrace with what looked like drinks spilled on the floor. Generally the service was totally unacceptable and so so disappointing."

"This is an outstanding establishment in this price bracket. That said, I actually think it is under priced given the professional service, quality of food in the restaurant and hearty breakfast. The restaurant's atmosphere was also wonderful. While some aspects of the room are a...little functional, at less than per night I think The Coachman is a bargain! All staff were wonderfully warm and friendly and the business appears to be very well run. I'll certainly recommend The Coachman and look to return if I'm in the area again. stars all round. Thank you for a perfect stop over."

"Great food and pleasant friendly staff. Unfortunately I posted this review prematurely. The day after our visit two of my party came down with food poisoning. Contact with the establishment resulted in denial (common practice) and laughter. Will never visit this establishment again."

"I recently had a meal at this restaurant after work. The staff were very friendly, and the food was excellent. I don't think I've had better anywhere else. The restaurant wasn't very busy, probably due to the bad weather outside. Overall, I would give it a 5 for food, service, and atmosphere. The price per person was between £10 and £20 for dinner."

"The quality of food is great and not only are the staff polite and helpful the waiting time for food is on point. I’d definitely recommend the windmill to my family and friends whenever they ask if theres a relaxed place and atmosphere to get a good munch! Parking: There’s available parking around the back of the building and there’s spaces out front too. Kid-friendliness: They have a claw machine and a kids menu. Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a side door that has an easy access ramp for people that are in a wheelchair."

"The food at this restaurant was fantastic and the service we received was exceptional. Our server, Hannah, has waited on us multiple times and she is always friendly, cheerful, and incredibly helpful. The parking situation was ideal, with plenty of free parking available. We had dinner, with prices ranging from £20 to £30 per person. The food and service both received top marks, while the atmosphere was also enjoyable. We recommend trying the Surf and Turf dish when visiting this restaurant."
"Excellent place with cosy country pub vibe. We're regulars here these days as you can rely on good wine and excellent food (the schnitzel and fish n chips are to die for). The staff are really friendly and the service is great. If you can get a seat beside the log fire that really adds to a cosy night. Definitely recommend. We've also booked for Christmas day as last year was great! Dietary restrictions: Veggie options are lovely Food: 5"

"I very seldom give a bad review and considering all the other good reviews makes me wonder if I have busted a parallel universe Artisan? Now I know why Gordon Ramsay goes off the rails at people who can’t see past their own noses to work out what is wrong with their restaurant. So very disappointed tonight at what should have been a whisky lovers paradise. First impressions very poor, carpets dirty and torn and obviously have been lifted in the upper seating area but just leaving the tired and dirty looking tiles. Service reasonable and order taken politely but no effort made to promote any whiskies. Odd. Chicken starters were good my sons said, I skipped one. Main course “Artisan” burgers were homemade, so some kudos for that, but they were too dense and dry, and presented in a really unappealing way an old bar tray? . Haggis with creamy mash and peppercorn sauce , even worse. A soup bowl equivalent of sauce separately from the haggis and mash. My youngest said the mash was terrible. I think “creamy” must have a different meaning to the chef. I had a taste and would say it was mashed with water if anything. Yuk. And what the hell am I supposed to do with all that sauce. Can dessert or a whisky flight £12.95 for choice of 4 from whisky choice of the month redeem things?? No. Belgian waffle and ice cream had a blackened waffle obviously burnt in the toaster but was served face down so my youngest didn’t notice until he got to near the middle. We turned it over and couldn’t believe it. Whisky flight was ridiculous. My son ordered this and was told to choose from 4 on the barrel table mostly liqueurs and weird stuff, Unicum is a Hungarian Jaegermeister style drink?!? There were two decent malts the rest was terrible. I took a look into the “snug” to see if it was worth a last ditch redemption. But seeing all the rubbish and boxes made me decide against. I had been planning to book this for my group of 10 whisky sharing buddies , but sadly I won’t be. What a shame. Waiting staff at least were trying their best and did deduct the burnt waffle from the bill as I asked. "

"Credit where credit is due I can't fault this restaurant. Went here for a nice lunch with my daughters and their partners on Saturday afternoon. There was also quite a big wedding going on at the time but that didn't impact our meal as they seem to have a completely separate function suite for weddings. Was nice to see all the wedding guests in their finery in the bar also. Service here was very good. Laid back but attentive. Mains of fish and chips and burgers and steak pie. All freshly cooked. The fish looked especially great. I don't normally eat deserts but decided to try the pear and frangipan tart and they others had the Katsu banana with salted caramel ice cream which we had all never seen before. Delicious apparently. Highly recommend eating here. I thought for the quality of the food and service it was pretty good value too. Also loved the decor. Small issue getting to the hotel as there was some kind of junior rugby tournament going on at the park next door and there was a bit of a traffic jam. Not the fault of the hotel at all of course and only delayed me about 10 minutes. Not sure if it happens every weekend or not but something to be aware of."
"No idea how this place has so many good reviews. When we arrived we were waiting for nearly 10 minutes with nobody at the front desk to check us in. Eventually I had to pop my head into the restaurant to get someone to check us in to our room. Not ideal when we had driven 4 hours to get there. We were also told the bar and restaurant had a fault and hot breakfast wouldn’t be served in the morning. Far from ideal to start with. The room itself was a tiny attic room, half the size of our bedroom at home. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the radiator had been left on full so it was absolutely sweltering when we went in. I had been looking forward to a shower but this was the worst showering experience in my life. The water came out of the shower with nothing more than a dribble. It took me 15 minutes to get showered properly due to this and at 11pm at night, was a huge annoyance, especially after the bad news and inconvenience with check in. There was also only half a toilet roll on the holder when we arrived, which made me disgusted to think that it was probably kept on there from someone else’s stay. On our second night there must have been an event on as we could hear music blaring out until the early hours, as well as people shouting and screaming. Only convenience was the proximity to the train station, but I would advise anyone to save their money and go to a travelodge or premier inn at least they have working showers and decent food drink amenities."

"I have been using and recommending this restaurant for a year now with no major issues. However, during my most recent order of pakora sauce and a chicken tikka kebab, it took around 50 minutes to arrive. When it did, the kebab had to be reheated and there was no pakora sauce included. I called in to inform them, and the sauce was delivered 15 minutes later to accompany the soggy pakora. I mentioned the issue to the driver, who said he would pass the complaint on to the restaurant, but there was no response from them. Overall, I was bitterly disappointed as a long-time regular customer. The dinner was cold, soggy, and ended up in the bin due to the poor performance and lack of communication. Unfortunately, it seems like this may be the end of our love affair with this restaurant."

"this is my local chippy and I use it regularly. always happy with my food. I wanted to take the time tonight to write a review because the dinge did not exactly plan but I was impressed by how it was treated. decided., in a bladder **** on the meal tonight wee surprise for the child. it did not arrive. the driver said he was. I thought, "here we go. we will see this in another hour”. but he was back with him on the door, shortly after we had put the food on the plate. the things can go wrong everywhere as they repair them that is important. Top brands."

"The food at Singh's Tasty Village is delicious. The curries have great base flavors and the spice blend for the South Indian garlic chili chicken curry was perfectly balanced, although a bit too sweet for my liking. The chicken korma had a tasty sauce but was too thick and gloopy. The chicken pakoras were plentiful, well-priced, and not soggy at all. They were more authentic than typical takeaway pakoras, with a crispy coating and juicy chicken. The portion sizes were generous and I would definitely go back for more. Overall, Singh's Tasty Village offers high-quality food at reasonable prices with fast delivery times. The only downside was that the delivery driver tried to charge more than the total on two occasions, so it's wise to keep the final statement handy when paying cash. Despite this, I still enjoyed my meal and would recommend this restaurant."

"Yesterday we decided to give the New Gulistan a try and placed an order at for a set meal for patiently waited until and then my husband called to cancel the delivery only to be told it had already left and was on its way. At after it had been cancelled, the delivery guy knocked at the door with the food, which had to be freezing cold after being driven all around for more than half an hour.We live meters away from the restaurant. Disappointed is an understatement, we heard good things and now well never get to try it."

"had a nice walk to this place along the canal. the landscape is in this against spectacular. decoration in the boathouse is fantastic and trendy and eating also fits the decor! I went for the Rib Eye steak “Well done” before someone says I know that I don’t like to eat steak, but so I enjoy it. Anyway, the nap eye was fantastic and the drivers really nice, finished with a great coffee. all at a great place, especially at young, the place is also dog friendly. look at the dead."
