"We're four female friends who like to have dinner at different ethnic restaurants (German, Japanese, Ethiopian..). We read the good reviews of this restaurant on different sites. The waiter was friendly and there was no rushing us. We had 4 different choices from mango chicken to coriander chicken and mango lamb with rice and bread. The food was really good and the place ok looking. The toilets were fairly clean. In short: This place is a good choice nd prices are still not to outrageous."

"I had been here with two working mates and we found it good. the own scholle has a large beer garden with a taste for drinks. I can't say how it looks inside, because we had been looking for a table outside because of the very warm temperatures and I didn't have to drink that much that I had to use the toilets that would have brought me closer to the interior. the menu is large and includes approx. 180 courts. it's for everyone. the service quickly came to our table and we would be kindly welcomed. later it became fuller and the service no longer came by the table. you have to look for the service visual contact and handmarks. can also be whistled but certainly not good. the prices are appropriate for the portions. to be highly recommended. who often passes to eat are greeted with handbeat. (we have observed several times)Come again if I are next time in nürnberg and have a room in this corner of nürnberg."

"Welch großes Glück, dass vor einiger Zeit ein Ladengeschäft in der Veillodterstraße nahe Rathenauplatz zu einem Imbiss mit Pizza- und Eisverkauf umgestaltet worden ist: Carmelo Aloia, der Betreiber, bietet ein umfangreiches Repertoire an Pizza, Pasta und Salaten, die man mitnehmen oder auch bei einem kühlen Getränk im kleinen Restaurant verzehren kann: Dabei schmeckt alles durchweg so wie man italienische Küche aus vergangenen Zeiten beim Lieblingsitaliener kennt: Guter Belag, würziger Käse und eine Lasagne als Forno, die so appetitlich riecht und schmeckt, dass man erst aufhören kann, wenn sie komplett aufgegessen ist. Alles ist wirklich absolut schmackhaft und dabei recht preisgünstig. Jedem der in Fahr- und Laufnähe ist (kurz anhalten ist in der Nähe des Ladengeschäftes gut möglich) empfehle ich die Pizzeria Italia (als Alternative zu jeglichen Lieferdiensten in der Stadt) einmal entweder als Gast des kleinen Restaurants oder als Abholer auszuprobieren."

"Waren als Paar zu Gast und hatten ab der netten Begrüßung einen gelungenen Besuch.Zum essen wählten wir einmal Pasta frutti di mare und Rinderfilet in Pfeffersoße. Die Spaghetti waren sehr lecker und man schmeckt auch sofort das die Nudeln hausgemacht sind.das Filet in Pfeffersoße für die Qualität und Preis einfach nur top,gewünschte Garstufe und Geschmack voll getroffen.war froh von der netten Bedienung die Empfehlung zu bekommen, im ganzen wurden wir sehr herzlich und nett bedient,selten so gut gelauntes Personal erlebt. War anschließend 2 tage später wieder da um mir ne Pizza für daheim mitzunehmen. Da sie mich genauso überzeugt hat deswegen meine 5*"

"we reserved, were there yesterday with the shiny ones. when we entered the restaurant shortly after 12 on Thursday, we were the only guests. although the location was not bad, the restaurant was quite large. we saw the buffet table completely empty. wondered if we could eat buffet at all. but we were told that there would be a buffet on the table. we were surprised. the drinks came quickly and were inexpensively ok. 3,10 for a 0.4 scorle or cola are all right. We were asked if suppe or salat. both were very tasty. Then 4 small balls were brought with different dressings. 2 vegetarian and 2 with chicken. aftertaste was not a thema, was made fresh each time so that you had to wait 6-7 minutes until filled up.Only manko, I would have liked it to be Naan bread at the buffet. you could reorder it against a price, at the buffet it belongs to me. but that was the only one.Maybe it was only 4 dishes. fortunately we all tasted the 4 dishes well, so we were fed up.As a dessert, there were delicious mango cream - typical dessert:)fine with grits I mean to add mandel and apple splinters on top. very good in taste. we have put my shiny on the Indian taste, and if we're back in nürnberg, we'll be happy to go back here."

"Went there to have lunch after a year. It was my favorite Thai place only a year back and whoever I took there loved it. The food was disappointing this time. The papaya salad and drink was okay. Then I ordered my favorite dish there, it's Thai fried rice. The rice was soggy (used to crisp) and the taste was different. I told the lady attending the table and she mentioned that the cook has changed. Alas!"

"We received an voucher of Jochen Schweizer for the romantic dinner. Of course we were a bit skeptical cause of this voucher. However we were treated as regular guests and couldn't notice any different behavior.The table was located in the main restaurant which is very beautiful. The fire places close to the tables bring a special atmosphere into the location too (it has another room for dinners, like a big hall which isn't that nice from our point of view). As we had a voucher, a special meal was offered to us. We could choose between meal, fish and veg menues. An alcoholic shot and bottled water was included too. The rest has to be paid in addition but this is mentioned on the voucher too.The meat and fish startes were very delicious. The meat main course as well only the fish main course was bit boring. The dessert was tasty, obviously every dessert is tasty ;). It would have been perfect for us if the guests could combine a veg starter and a meat course...The waiters were very friendly and professional overall.We recommend this restaurant for couple dinners, no doubt about that. But next time without Jochen Schweizer."

"I've been recommended it so many times, but I was here for the first time at the beginning of April. Since then, every 2-3 weeks. A little more expensive but it's definitely worth the price. The vegan punch is flavored down to the last detail. Various appetizers were all good too! So Shekamu is definitely suitable for vegans and vegetarians, and my blackheads told me the meat also tasted very good. Unfortunately there are only 0.33 bottles available, but that doesn't spoil much."

"the location is located in a small workshop house with cozy rustic furnishings. the food was very good, but from the price you were very high. we had booked through open table. there were presented various menus that were not to be found before location. that is very annoying to me, because you are a little prostrategic to this, which is ultimately not respected. "we had visited from düsseldorf and I asked a colleague he could recommend in the north of nürnberg, his answer "gaststätte marienberg, there are all good, best are the calzone, but also German and Franconian dishes are good. So I went with the hospitable, that is something hidden behind the BMW dealer at the end of the snow garden. we were received and supplied with drinks. the beer garden is very nice among large trees in the middle of the park. the selection of food and drinks is impressive. at the first visit the visit has eaten an insalata tacchino and I have a pizza. both very rich, tasty and cheap. during the second visit we decided to freeze with potato salad, even that was delicious and cheap. when eating so pleasant, the service is so pleasant, then they also sit a little longer and enjoy another (or several) half additionally. both paint a successful evening and I'm sure if the visitor wants to come back, he wants to go. another tip for the parking lot, the easiest way to get to the side of the kilian road (before the Kurt-Ahles small garden) enough parking is available."

"Ich habe in meinem Leben schon in vielen Läden & Ländern einen Burger gegessen, daher habe ich durchaus Ansprüche an einen Burger. Im Hempels ist der Burger für meinen Geschmack viel zu hoch, um ihn vernünftig essen zu können und die Geschmacksvielfalt auf einmal erleben zu können - einfach, weil man den ganzen Burger mit Besteck in auseinander fallenden Happen zerlegen muss, die trotzdem noch zu groß sind...Leider muss ich auch sagen, dass ich geschmacklich nicht vom Hocker gehauen wurde. Die selbstgebackenen Brioche-Brötchen sind zu trocken und somit auch sehr schwer zu essen. Negativ aufgefallen ist mir außerdem, dass auf dem "Cheeseburger" anstatt einer "hausgemachten Soße" hausgemachtes Ketchup & Senf verwendet wurde. Ich persönlich mag keinen Senf und hätte das auch dementsprechend bei der Bestellung abgeändert. Jedoch hatte ich diese Möglichkeit nicht, da die Karte einfach nicht explizit sagt, was verwendet wird bzw. in die Irre führt - ich denke bei "einer Soße" an eine Bürgersauce und nicht Ketchup und Senf in zwei Lagen übereinander (vielleicht liegt es ja an mir!). Auch bei dem Garpunkt des Pattys hatte ich schon einige Male ein schlechtes Erlebnis (ganz durch bzw. viiiiiil zu englisch für Medium) - und nein, ich möchte meinen Burger auf den ich schließlich schon lange genug gewartet habe, dann nicht nochmal selbst zum Schalter zurückbringen, damit ich ihn in ein paar Minuten wieder abholen kann, während ich meinen Freunden beim Essen zu schaue.Die Atmosphäre ist lässig und auch die Einrichtung gefällt mir gut, jedoch ist es hier absolut nicht hygienisch - ich saß bisher kein einziges Mal ein einem sauberen Tisch und habe das Personal auch noch nie Tische putzen sehen. Es wundert mich aber auch nicht, dass die Tische dreckig sind, denn die sogenannten "Teller" & Messer sind für den Verzehr eines so großen Burgers auch gänzlich ungeeignet, sodass man am Ende froh sein kann, wenn einem der Burger nicht vom hin und her rutschenden Tablett fällt...Ich habe Hempels schon viele Chancen gegeben (da eine meiner besten Freundinnen absoluter Fan ist und ich kein Spielverderber sein will), aber bei dem hohen Lob, das Hempels von vielen Seiten erhält, kann ich die Begeisterung nicht teilen. Der Laden ist absolut gehypt, aber mir bleibt es ein Rätsel warum...Es gibt viel bessere Läden in Nürnberg - Hempels ist leider überbewertet & das macht die Enttäuschung, dann meistens noch größer..."

"Hier findet man hauptsächlich fränkische Gerichte, bei gutem Wetter sitzt man draußen im Biergarten, ansonsten hat man im Restaurant selbst ein schickes Ambiente, in das man diese fränkische Küche zunächst nicht zuordnen würde. Es wird lokales Bier gereicht, außerdem werden nahezu alle Produkte aus regionalem Anbau geliefert. Der Service war super freundlich, ich werde gerne wieder kommen."

"Immer wieder wunderbar! Komme seit Jahren hierher. Die Qualität der Küche ist gleichbleibend 1A egal ob Pasta, Fisch oder Fleisch. Man wird stets herzlich wie ein Familienmitglied behandelt, Extrawünsche werden von der Küche stets erfüllt und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt! Wenn ich wirklich gut essen möchte, gibt es für mich nur dieses Lokal im weiten Umkreis. Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Dass man selbst für den Mittagstisch reservieren muss, spricht eigentlich Bände. Bei schlechtem Essen oder miesem Service gäbe es nämlich immer freie Tische, zumal sich sowas rumsprechen würde. Kann das Costa Azzura nur empfehlen!!! Mega gute Küche, außergewöhnlich netter Service, Kinder werden extra lieb behandelt.Hier stimmt ALLES."
