The cozy fireside chairs, the oval barley-twist-legged table with its polished wooden surface, and the cheerful chatter (especially from the side entrance) all felt familiar, despite the passing years. It's refreshing to see a pub that doesn’t feel the need to change or "modernize," as its commitment to well-kept beer and delicious, hearty food has solidified its status as the vibrant hub of the village, warmly welcoming customers from far and wide."
