"Exemplary afternoon tea thoroughly enjoyed at Meldrum House Hotel! Considering the uneasy circumstances we currently find ourselves in, visiting any location socially can feel overwhelming just now, however it was clear upon arrival that this venue had taken great care and spent much time covering all aspects of health and safety while not taking away the purpose of our visit, which was to enjoy catching up with a friend over an afternoon tea. The staff were wearing masks and they had a sanitisation spray pump at reception which we used upon arrival.The afternoon tea was faultless, and the presentation was outstanding. The cakes were not only beautiful to look at but also tasted as good as they looked! Definitely picture worthy!!The staff were friendly and attentive and were always on hand to top up tea and coffee and generally just checking everything was ok. The atmosphere was relaxed and all tables socially distanced yet not detracting from the experience at all.we enjoyed our afternoon tea and walk round the grounds. Stunning location, great service and fabulous food! Will definitely be back very soon, thank you"
