"Two colleagues and I visited this place on the recommendation of a workmate. We are working in Paderborn and we were looking for a nice Mexican restaurant. I have to say, this really isn’t it. Firstly, this is a cash only restaurant and we were only informed of this once we’d ordered. Apparently quite common in Germany but in this day and age…really?? The staff were all seemingly miserable…no friendly interaction with us at all. Our German is not fluent by any means but we had a stab and all we got were scowls…both from the 3 servers and the manager. The food was ok…nothing to write home about and the prices were fairly reasonable. We won’t be returning."

"The “go to” Steakhouse in Paderborn. I have tried all the Steakhouses in Paderborn and El Rancho is by far the best in quality, service and ambient. I have been using this steakhouse for circa 8 years now, and travel far and wide, I have yet to find a better steak anywhere. Great team with Ishmael and Osman the charismatic front of the steakhouse. I recommend it without hesitation to everyone. My family always insist on an evening when in El Rancho when visiting me from Ireland and the UK. It is also a first port of call when I have business guests, aa d where we have our Company Xmas meal every year."

"the restaurant visit was initially mai and we had got a table in the side with a small group. the reservation in advance was easy and adhered to. the restaurant is karg furnished, there is no Indian flair that is known from other Indian restaurants. the service was in total inadequate. the ordered feeds consisting of appetizers, some supplements and main dish were each brought to the table with significantly too large pauses (stay 2 1/4h for pure eating with waiting times and billing). also in the meantime the service was not attentive, which in the area not to be seen by theke then leads to the fact that you have to go forward or just wait for an order. for eating myself, I can only say a clear insufficiently about the main dish served me. it was served on a hot grilling hot crumbling at the table, so far so beautiful. problematic was only that this was so hot that eating on it was still burned. in places, it was then unfit. the lamb from this mixed grill plate was so tough that it could hardly be divided even with a knife. in all wing parts, the skin was completely burned and inedible. visually this dish was colored in a bright red, which made it look very artificial. the supplements were in order, but also not outstanding. the mixed pickels, for example, were very good in sharpness, but the acid was too strong. in which please bring the bill, there was obviously a problem if not everything is billed together, so the bon was brought to us and we can easily divide the total amount. everything in all is not recommended, the small selection of Indian alternatives in paderborn does not stand with big cities, but offers a choice."

"That was my first and last visit to Haci Baba. I and man were horrified over 1)how unfriendly the service was.2) how dishonest the food was. The rice was so baked with oil that was already black and what stunked. The lamb is too old, because that stinks too. No one has ever endured from those as if they get to hear this daily from the guests. The price is too expensive. Wine costs a Glaß 4€; very expensive."

"my son and I have often been breakfast at ostermann and after a long pause again. but the disappointment was great when we got 2 x the breakfast amsterdam. I thought that you have to order coffee separately, not in the offer. Today the coffee was a grace. the service forces initially did not get clear with the machine and what we were then served was something dark brown, which became hardly brighter after 2x milk and was also rather bitter. you get in basket 2 rolls and a paper brot then a teller with something cheese, butter and obstsalat. the butter is so small that it is just enough for two halves of rolls, if you want to have more to be paid extra. that was fresh but quite tasteless, and there was some sugary water over it, this creation was then obstsalat. the only good thing about this breakfast was the pancake with maple syrup. that was really tasty. Conclusion: very poor, overpriced breakfast, as you also have to pay the warm drink extra. for breakfast we will soon find another local as the quality, especially the breakfast, has changed to the negative"

I have rarely eaten so well.And I am really used to eat from home, good food.I myself am Spanish, and know well the Mediterranean cuisine.Not only a good meal belongs to this, but also the ambience.Here, this is all given! the foods are absolutely fresh, very tasty and wonderfully dressed.Here also eat the eye! "we had reserved a table over opentable (for evening 19 h). when we came, the service was overwhelmed with the reservation. the rooms were full of families with children. because of the spatial conditions it was very loud, worse than the railway station. Then we were assigned a table that was unauthenticated. kind of compiled. we then refused to want to eat in this impossible atmosphere, because of the loudness you could not have entertained. we then thought to go somewhere else, because there was no place out there, because it started to rain. the personal was then so courteous to make us out under a large umbrella a table.Factory to eat: pizza good, brot very good, noodle ok, small salat not good, that was. at the end of the 1st evening at purino we decided to 1 x and not again. the ground is very beautiful."

"One of the best sushi shops in Paderborn for years!!! Super friendly owner despite stress due to many orders. Sushi always fresh and tastes very good. "This was our first trip out to a Chinese restaurant since arriving in Germany. We had heard mixed reviews from friends and decided to give it ago. The restaurant is quite dated in appearance, as the weather was nice we were invited to eat outside....The menu was not the same as one would expect in UK, however there was a lot of choice. There were only three members of staff on duty, our order was taken and our food was served. All was going well up to that point, however we were then seemed to be forgotten about, no one came to ask if we wanted more drinks or asked if everything was ok, our plates were cleared and still no mention of drinks. We sat at our table for a further and still no one came in the end we left the table and went to seek out the staff so that we could pay our bill. Overall, I would say that the food was nice, nothing special and it seemed expensive compared to previous meals out. I wouldn't bother going back as the service was really poor and it wasn't particularly busy"
