"Fuimos a cenar y la verdad que llamó nuestra atención porque el tipo de platos que ahora sirven no tienen nada que ver con años atrás cuando solíamos ir. Han rediseñado el concepto de cocina, que es muy bueno pero ciertamente tengo las tapas que tenía anteriormente. la comida era generalmente buena, y la presentación de los platos era correcta. A pesar de todo, había matices en cada uno de los platos que no sólo nos dejaron, excepto los huevos que eran muy ricos. Las mini hamburguesas fueron una decepción completa. el trato por parte de los camareros tampoco fue excepcional."

"We've been in the palafrugell limestone for a few days and we've come to eat this restaurant for the good reviews. A bar/restaurant of punos and tapas. the prickes choose them either on the bar or when they pass by offering the hot ones. At the end you pay for what you eat and it doesn't usually get too expensive, if you don't get clear. the views are also very nice from the local and the terrace. If there's a waiting line, they take a note and then they send you a sms. the service is very nice. We have repeated."

"Un restaurant decorat amb motius mariners i molt ben climatitzat que s 'agraeix en època estival quan fa més calor. Bertu i tot el seu equip fan una cuina cassolana amb productes de qualitat arrossos, fideuàs, etc) el resultat final dels quals és d 'excelent. Està situat en 2ona línia de mar de Llafranc i tot i no tenir les vistes al mar, com la majoria de turistes i estiujedors busquen com si la mar se 'ls acabés..., la qualitat del menjar i l 'estada s 'ho val de totes totes. Bertu no és un MàsterChef , però sí té una estrella Michelin que ningú li ha donat de facto, però els que som clients incondicionals, sabem de bon tros que la mereix !!! Així és la vida !! Que cadascú obri en conseqüència."

"Nos dejamos guiar por las críticas y reservamos en este restaurante. Comida para 4 formada por 3 primeros y un segundo. Comenzamos con unas zamburiñas a la plancha que estaban muy bien cocinadas y un aliño buenísimo. Continuamos con un tartar de atún de Balfego con aguacate muy buen aliñado, el producto era inmejorable, muy recomendable. Continuamos con unos calamarcitos con alcachofas muy buenos, tiernos y sabrosos, la salsa para mojar pan. Y por último el plato típico de langosta de 0,8kg con patatas y huevos fritos. La langosta nos la mostraron antes de cocinarla y tenia una pinta genial. La preparan a la brasa y luego la colocan sobre la base de patatas y lo coronan con huevos fritos. Una combinación interesante y muy buena. Una botella de vino blanco del emporda para compartir y un postre muy recomendable, el xuxo de Girona. El personal muy amable y la ubicación genial frente a la playa."

"Some great food (lomo, octopus, sardines), some very good drinking food (fried artichokes, eggplant chips), excellent and well priced local wines. Decent table service by harried staff. Poor layout, with one side of the restaurant directly exposed to the WC area with a door that was usually open, straight into the cubicles. Poor customer service in turning a generally positive experience into a profoundly negative one, by refusing as “impossible” two requests to move tables, including 15 minutes into our stay when many tables opened up and the restaurant then remained only moderately busy."

"I went to this cafe with my wife and young family and had the misfortune to have to send a dish back untouched as it was a pig foot with 99% fat rather than pork on the bbq as the waitress told us in Spanish that it was. The waitress did not like this, and was very angry towards me and my family. She attempted to rally locals against us in Catalan (which unfortunately I don’t understand) but luckily only 2 tables got involved, aggressively pointing out that we were rude to send a dish back. My wife took a photo of the menu and restaurant sign so that we would have a record of the visit and the waitress again took offence to this and aggressively put her phone camera in my wife and children’s face to take a retaliatory photo. Understandably this upset my young children so we paid fully and left rather than argue further. I know that the fat is considered a delacy for many Catalans but the polite, non confrontational way I sent the food back did not warrant the aggressive, loud, bullying response of the waitress, especially in front of my young family. No restaurant should respond in the way they did, nor attempt to get other customers involved for what is essentially none of their business and at the end of the day a communication problem between me and the waitress. This restaurant may be fine if you speak and understand Catalan but if you only understand Spanish I would avoid at all costs."

"Somos de Tamariu y siempre íbamos al restaurante Rodondo pero cansados de sus exigencias y mala educación decidimos probar este restaurante. Nos ha sorprendido gratamente, este verano hemos ido ya 5 veces. El personal sin duda el mejor de todo Tamariu, gente maravillosa que te atienden con muchísima educación. Especialmente Jorge, un camarero entregado al maximo y de los que ya no quedan, un camarero de 10. Los dueños humildes y serviciales. El producto muy bueno, primera línea de playa y a mis hijas las atienden como princesas, con mucha paciencia y cariño. Quedan pocos sitios así. Gracias!"

"Situado en el centro de Palafrugell, en una antigua casa de piedra. Al entrar te sumerges en el pasado, sus paredes de piedra, su pozo...un encanto. Restaurante familiar que con su amabilidad y simpatia te hacen sentir como en casa. Te aconsejan sobre su carta o si hay algo fuera de esta. Todo lo que probamos fué exquisito, tartar de atún, pan bao, els bunyolets y para rematar nos llevamos un dulce sabor de boca con su deliciosa tarta de queso. "SUPERARLO SERIA DIFÍCIL Festival de calidad desde la ensalada hasta los postres!!! Más que recomendable. Como se suele decir, aquí la tocan y muy bien. Tanto mi mujer como yo somos unos apasionados de los arroces y el mar y montaña que comimos este domingo aquí, puede estar entre los 3 mejores que hemos comido nunca. "Si te gusta la comida japonesa, ya sabes que cualquier lugar del grupo Nomo es todo un acierto en relación calidad-precio. El espacio es muy bonito y el servicio amable y correcto. Sin embargo, optimizan tanto las mesas en el espacio, que se acaba generando un entorno poco íntimo, y la verdad, personalmente me gusta cenar sin escuchar las conversaciones de la mesa de al lado . Para el precio que pagamos, preferiría sacrificar un par de mesas por turno y mejorar la experiencia del comensal."

"The desire of anyone who wants to eat with the wonderful views of one of the best coves on the Costa Brava. We thought that for the price, given the situation, it wouldn't be a big deal. But we were pleasantly surprised. All the dishes were delicious. The steamed mussels smelled spectacularly of the sea. Very fresh And special mention to the hot rice. AWESOME! The rice was at the cooking point, tasty as it had not been eaten for a long time and the portion for two, which was for three at least (we took what was left over). All seasoned with a very friendly and helpful service. If I had to put any element against it, it would be how hot it was on the terrace, despite being covered by the sun, but in the middle of a heat wave, it was to be expected. Keep up the good work and I'm sure you'll be delighting people for many more years. "En el restaurante y asa Can Facundo de Palafrugell se puede ir al mediodía y comer el menú por 12€. También puede comprar los pollos al ast. Y para cenar, si va con pandilla, puede elegir diferentes platos para picar. Ya sean algunos de los típicos de la costa o también carnes a la brasa y variedad de ensaladas. Nosotros éramos 11 e hicimos diferentes platos para compartir. Destacan los sonsos fritos, los primeros de la temporada. Muy bien fritos y sabrosos. Los mejillones son de roca y sólo al vapor, no hace falta más. Las anchoetas fritas, lo que en otros lugares llamamos boquerones, también eran muy buenas. Las sardinas ahumadas, con un poquito de pan de torta, tienen todos los gustos. Y entre los platos estrella son muy recomendables la cabeza y pata con garbanzos, al nivel justo de ternura y picante, y la picaña muy tierna y sabrosa. Las ensaladas son muy completas y también el pollo o el pulpo a la gallega son opciones recomendables. Aparte, cabe destacar que el servicio es muy atento y rápido. Y la calidad precio muy ajustada. Los productos son de primera calidad y para 11 personas pagamos 17,9€ por persona."

"Los primeros estuvieron bien, sin mas, de segundo pedimos el arroz, y tenía sabor a quemado. Se lo dijimos al encargado que se llevó los cuatro platos y volvió diciendo que no había notado ningún sabor a quemado y con mucha soberbia y chulería nos dijo que no nos haría otro porque saldría igual. Llegado a a este punto quiero hacer dos precisiónes: si los cuatro que estábamos en al mesa solo probarlo nos paramos y dijimos que tenia sabor a quemado, será por algo…. Mi hermana y mi madre habían ido tres veces este verano y comieron las tres veces el arroz, y, lógicamente, no tenia sabor a quemado…… Personalmente creo que se les fue la Mano en la caramelización de la cebolla. Nos dijo que pidiéramos un pescado, pero no quisimos porque sinceramente se nos cortó el hambre de golpe. Los postres normalitos, sin más, y concretamente mi pastel de queso muy lejos de mis preferidos que son los de Xemei y del fismuler. Pensábamos que nos cobrarían el arroz porque para ellos no teníamos razón, pero no nos lo cobraros es como si nos dieran la razón tácitamente) y dejamos más de 20€ de propina para que al menos cubriera el coste del arroz que no comimos. supongo que esto se debe al cooperativismo de haber tenido negocios de restauración en el pasado) CONCLUSIÓN; Si el encargado simplemente se hubiese disculpado y hubiese dicho que lo sentía mucho que teníamos razón pero que tenían toda la marca igual y que no le daba tiempo de preparar marca nueva, hubiésemos aceptado las excusas y hubiéramos vuelto la semana siguiente a probar su arroz. Con su manera de actuar logró que no volvamos nunca más, y es una pena porque vivimos en Calella y fuera de temporada hay pocos sitios para poder ir …."

"La situación del local es ideal, delante del mar, aunque es complicado disfrutar de su terraza porque se satura de clientes, es pequeño, fuimos a principios de junio.
