"we were guests of this magnificent restaurant on Saturday, August 19. I declare that the place is one of the most characteristic and picturesque ones I've ever seen. red velvet sofas and dark wooden tables. we had reserved because of the high affluence that frequents the place, Paris and not. the owner, a nice and very helpful lady, welcomed us. Obviously we couldn't start our dinner with 12 exquisite snails out of 3, we chose to opt for this "aperitive" solution because two out of three had never tasted this greed! We immediately regretted it. Then, a high quality beef tartar (150gr of meat) was ordered which was prepared and seasoned to perfection at the table by the waitress. we then chose to taste the chicken with the tarragon served with black rice, a real delight! It's true that the appetite comes by eating but it didn't miss us from the start, so we also wanted to taste a nice slice of simmered pork breast. I must say remarkable!! Finally, desserts left us without a voice. with the coffee we brought a dish full of mini- pastries matching the house (all the good typical things), instead of the sorbet we were recommended a smoothie with grapefruit and aloe really refreshing and we couldn't miss to taste the very famous French lemon pie! We were really happy and satisfied. the environment, the food and the air you breathe are really inimitable! See it!"

"this place gets 1 star from me because our overall experience in this restaurant has been horrible thanks to the attitude of the host. in an objectivity concern, I will describe our experience with as much details as possible: two weeks before coming to bets, my wife and I made a reservation at this place at 11:45. We arrived around 11:53 and the hosts directed us to one of the bistro tables whose chairs do not have a file. My wife asked if we could have another table, because after a few days of walking and sightseeing, she wanted a comfortable place to sit and enjoy food. the man naturally said no because they had only a table for 4 people available. A few minutes after sitting uncomfortably, my wife asked the man if we could please pass to a table for 2 people when a table liberates because it was uncomfortable, which the man answers grossly that because we were late, they could not welcome us to an ordinary table, and it was not possible to move us either. At the end of our meal, another waiter asked us if everything had gone well, and we said as honestly and politely as possible, that even if the food had been excellent, we sat uncomfortably throughout the meal and were surprised to see us deny an appropriate table despite a reservation well in advance, even after having asked twice. We also mentioned that we were not satisfied with the way the first man had treated us. at this point (12:46), she calls the guy so we can tell him directly. we repeat the same comment, and specify that the table for 4 people is still empty and that we could easily have been accommodated there. The man begins to become aggressive, telling us that we were rude when we said that the table was uncomfortable, shouting at "Would you do my job?" several times in front of everyone, and telling us that the table was empty because they had a reservation at 12:30. Now, how come this table was waiting for 16 minutes after the reservation, but our table wasn't just because we were "bearing" after only 8 minutes? and what kind of host enlists its customers after making a simple request? the customer service is non-existent in this place. and although we have declined its offer to "take its work," I urge the person responsible to consider replacing it with someone who can actually do the job well."
