"Had lunch there today and it was ok. People standing at the bar have to move out of the way to allow you to access the restaurant area in the back. The restaurant is shaped like a long hallway. The seating area is rather tight. So, if you don't like cramp places, be warned. Most of the lunchtime crowd come from nearby offices. There's a lunch menu (weekdays only) for €12.80: starter and main course or main course and dessert. (There's a lunch menu consisting of a starter, main course and dessert for €18.80.)Had two starters: herring with slices of boiled potatoes and tomatoes served on a bed of lettuce and a green salad with boiled green beans, lettuce, slices of tomatoes and shredded carrots on top. The chef let loose with the tangy salad dressing. Don't mind it normally but there was a bit too much of it today. Had two mains: diced chicken in a savoury mushroom sauce on a bed of rice (emincé de volaille) and steak with home fries and green beans. The steak quality was what you'd expect for that price. The home fries were a nice change from french fries.Shared a dessert: the copious café gourmand (€7.50) included an expresso served with panna cotta, a slice of apricot pie and a slice of pineapple pie and a serving of moelleux au chocolat (chocolate cake with melted chocolate in the centre of it).Service was friendly but a bit slow. They took ages to bring us the bill. We decided to go up and pay at the bar where the cash register is.Lunch for two with tax and tip was €33.10."
