Absolut in Ordnung. Wir kommen demnächst mal wieder."

Big Daddy´s American Diner Passau

"I had the opportunity to spend a day in Passau (which is not so self-evident when you sit in the office and try one of the new places in Passau again. I recently read about the daddy's diner on the Internet, where the operator has complained that there is probably not enough appreciation for its high-quality products, because its Burger restaurant is not a cheap place, but quality has a certain price and the quality of its burgers has not enough. Another reason to go to the ground and meet there. Especially since he has no unique setting in Passau regarding Burger restaurants (and so I am NOT talking about MC and King! The Daddy's Diner is located in the newly renovated Danube district (the Ex Danube Passage, which went down the creek with the construction of the city gallery. Donau Quartier, these are 3 restaurants (A Asia, here also already tested and an Italian soon to reach in this theater, a few shops (Action, Asia Shop, but not in the restaurant, a dress shop, a net, a hotel etc. via a bridge from the other side of the street or the main railway station. Access is therefore barrier-free, toilets, as you can see. Parking only in the parks of the area, free parking at the station or there is no pedestrian zone. The few short-term parking spaces at the main station are rough, expensive and there is a very dedicated monitoring of the rest traffic. SERVICE: I arrived early at noon and was kindly greeted by the operator and could choose more a table. I got my card and I was asked for the drinks. Okay, I usually know what I drink, especially at noon, there is no need to look into the map. But some just want to look, especially as homemade lemonades are offered there without looking into the map that sells badly. But this is also the only criticism we find in the end. I was asked several times during the meal whether it tastes me, in the end I also spoke a bit with the operator on the article, he almost apologized for his pricing, but said he can't get cheaper, but also not more expensive and it's just a grotto walk. (a general problem of gastronomy at the moment, which I noticed. I have received a conversation where a customer has ordered a meal to pick up and the operator has asked the customer whether it is a good idea to wait a few minutes at pickup because he wants to avoid the food being too long a warm box and leaving the house as fresh as possible. I think it's great, it's a quality claim. Class 4.5 stars! ESSEN: Let's start again with the criticisms, but they also stand within the framework, but are mentioned only because I don't give anything. The menu is perhaps even more measurable from haptic and appearance, but also owes the still prevailing corona and other crisis situation. A simple plastic folder with computer printing in brochures. It is hygienic and you can quickly make changes. That's enough. The offer includes the famous diner offer, chicken, burgers, pommes, cole, etc., but you do not have to reinvent the bike, it would not be authentic. I chose a Chili Burger (as Chili Head is also expected. The usual Burger Toppings were Siracha sauce and Jalapenos. As usual in Burger towns (also in Hans in luck will continue, so you can choose a burger and then choose the offer (a drink and Pommes or the Krautsalat . After a reasonable time, my burger, also typical of Diners, came in a basket, the Pommes in a Mini Frittier basket. The pommes were very good, outside crispy, but still juicy, inside already soft, they were made to the point. The burger looked appetizing, roasted the meat exactly at the point, recognized the other ingredients fresh, even the Jalapeno made a fresh impression. (I have the things that lie with me in all kinds of conservation and storage forms, build it yourself. The size was absolutely appropriate, more would not have been necessary. The price was: 15.79 for the burger and 6.99 for frits and drinking. (In my case a great special really very good: 5 stars AMBIENTE: The complex is held in a typical diner style, so a bit in rockebility style of 50 '60s (plastic leather benches, chess board floor, wall decoration, music box etc.). There is also a sunny terrace overlooking the main railway station (but no worries, in Passau the train does not pass so often. It is relatively simple but absolutely harmonious. You can go alone and with friends. Four stars. SAUBERKEIT: I did not find any special features, therefore short and short, good, all OK, 4 stars. Price performance ratio: The most difficult point. You really need to take into account and let everything go to make a fair assessment. The price is of course relatively high and no bargain. ABER: There is a very good quality and in gastronomy all costs increase exorbitant (energy, food, rent etc.) and you need to pass on to the customer, otherwise the restaurant would not be long. The motto is: rarely go for food and then pay attention to quality and then enjoy properly and consciously.... (the operator then told me that you looked at me when I enjoyed the food. You only pay half for the same.... AAAAAABER: What do you get? Circular burgers, from the cold on the grill, mass pomegranate from the frit where it can happen that another frying product is pure because it is still in the oil basket and not really with love and dedication, but according to quota, how long you have to be made for the burger. Then just go for dinner instead of two burgers and then right. That's why I still give 4 stars because the food is really worth its price (although not a bargain, but Geiz is not always very short: I was thrilled, it tasted me and I will when it comes out and I'm close again (before there are two more restaurants on my To Do list, I will definitely go back. Then there is the Mexico Chili Burger with the herbal salad."

"the short version: I gave them a second chance. they have made the order wrong, they have accused me of the wrong order, the supplier did not wear masks and there were haare in my eating. the long version: three years ago I wrote a not so positive...review but the place I normally order Chinese delivery (take them that with a salt grain in the ground all Chinese supply restaurants in passau belong vietnamesen that cook Chinese Isch food modified for the German palate of increased trips and reduced their portions and a well-known told me I should give jento another chance. that was a mistake. even though hygiene and graduation are strongly emphasised at the moment, the delivery driver met me with a mask under his kinen, not over his nose and mouth. the amount I was asked to pay did not correspond to the amount on the website. (I ordered a Massaman curry with bark meat, and the entry listed bark meat and huh. there was only bark meat in the curry, but no chicken. the driver has forgotten my drink, a coca cola, then went back to his car and came with a bottle lift apfelsprayer. he was angry that I didn't want the lift. he proposed to give me a refund and took his time to count his change as if he wanted me to change my mind and pay for the elevator. one of the reasons I decided to order today was special because I wanted a cola, so I wanted to make sure he didn't want the apple splash. the eating tasted ok. jento uses more sweet than its competitors. But when I had eaten, I discovered haare in the food. after all the other problems, it is likely that the restaurant has not yet made any improvements since my last review three years ago. I lost my appetit and wounded the rest of the food. the sad is, jento snacks is about the cheapest place to get a meal with sweetness near my office, so I could give it in other three years or so. check back in 2023."

"I've lived in Passau for a few months and have been making my way through the city's burger offerings - Segendo, Anemone, etc. Max + Muh was recommended to me and when some burger-loving friends were here yesterday, we decided to give it a try. We were there just after 5 p.m. on a Friday, but over the following hour, the place filled up, so I'd recommend making a reservation if you want to go at a peak time. Our first impressions were good. The beer menu has lots of Bavarian gems (including from the Klosterbrauerei Mallersdorf, Schönramer, and Camba) and we also tried some of the homemade (American-style) lemonade, which comes in flavors including ginger-mint, raspberry, and rhubarb. All of the drinks we ordered were excellent. The burgers were great, too. I had a Cindy + Bert (beef patty, grilled halloumi, bacon, guacamole), one friend had a Bonanza (beef patty, bacon and barbecue sauce), and my other friend had an Olympus (grilled halloumi with basil cream sauce). We were all satisfied. The beef was really juicy and cooked through but not a hockey puck - I've had way too many dried-out burgers around here. The brioche bun did a good job of soaking up most of the juices. All of the burgers came with a small side of cole slaw, which was heavy on the carrots and pretty tasty. We also ordered some sweet potato fries and onion rings. The sweet potato fries were good, but weren't anything special - every time I have ever had sweet potato fries in Germany, they have tasted identical. The onion rings appeared to be hand-battered, but I don't know if they were hand-battered in house or in a factory. I wouldn't have complained about a larger portion, though.Service was friendly and there to ask if we wanted another round of drinks, but wasn't in our face.I'll be coming back."
